you we continue o follow break news where a man and a woman have been found dead outside of a home. police not releasing much information beyond that. there is no threat to the public and they're not looking for a suspect at this time. if you're not familiar with that area, this is north of pittsburgh in central mass along the border. if you look at the road map, it's almost on the border. very few homes around. we have a crew around. updates as soon as they come in. >> the city of gardener on alert after scammers target residents and the police department. the scammers are posing as irs employees and threatening to take action if you don't pay up. >> once they realize that the police were onto them, they turned them into targets tying

hour. >> demanding hunk claiming to be from the irs. >> ignoring this will be a mistake. >> a gardener resident got a call and told the scammer he would need to call police to get payment information. the scammer jammed police lines >> they down loaded our lines and hit our dispatch with dozens of calls at once. >> that's not all. they stole the police caller id number and called other people pretending to be cops >> they just received a call on their caller id stating they were under arrest and they were

city hall sent out a reverse 9-1-1 call warning residents. >> there's over 90,000 complaints about the scam going on. there's been $5 million given out so far from this scam. >> reporter: the calls could come from another country. the real irs will not call you to demand money, the best advice, hang >> the commissioner, back in 2014, a 20-year-old was shot and killed while walking in that parade. the graduate worked with the city and coached at a boys and girls' club. evans is calling for calm --

four hundred million dollars. that's how much charter schools will drain from massachusetts public schools this year. four hundred million siphoned from local districts that desperately need it. four hundred million that won't fund more science and technology, arts or preschool, four hundred million unavailable to the ninety-six percent of students who don't attend charter schools. let's improve public schools for all students, not just a select few.

very big rainfall into florida this weekend. we'll keep you up to date. the hurricane becomes a hurricane again saturday and sunday and if you have any friends or family vacationing in bermuda, it will stay well off of the coast. we had a few showers throughout the day and those few showers have diminished in intensity and in coverage. only a couple spot showers. a sprinkle for the area. this is the rain we'll have for the weekend. the plans for the out door activities, saturday is going to be a picture-perfect day with lower humidity levels and summer-like temperatures. 7:00 a.m. saturday, starting off the weekend dry with complete sunshine and by late afternoon, a few of the puffy clouds developing, they won't produce

scorching 90 degrees and it's uncomfortable with a high of 68 degrees. wind direction has changed coming from the northwest and it's going to take a few hours and slowly, we'll start to decrease through the evening until we hit the low of 65 degrees. some of the suburbs, upper 50s and low 60s. low as the humidity gets lower tomorrow. afternoon highs in the 80s along the coast. sea breeze expected to develop. any beaches will see that wind comingof as you get inland, temperatures will be in the mid- to upper 80s. if you're heading to any red sox games, tomorrow night, gorgeous, 78 degrees. sunday, late game, 8-10 p.m. keep an eye on the forecast. 80 for saturday. sunday, 78. monday back up to 82 degrees we'll have another 90 degrees day for monday.

3,000 people in central massachusetts. this town and the street right on the new hampshire border live in the satellite center with what happened. >> authorities are not saying much about what took place tonight but they tell us that the general public should not be worried at this hour. a man and a woman have been found dead outside of that home on the mountain road it's a rural area, there seems to be only two houses on the road 'r graphic parts of the video, when sky eye was over the scene, you could clearly see the two bodies lying in separate areas just before the front porch police saying there's no threat to the general public and they add they're not looking for suspects at this time.
