around 2 this morning then an explosion went off. prosecutors in brussels now say there was no bomb and this was likely an arson attack. no one was hurt but the damage is significant. belgium has been on high alert since an attack in the airport and subway in march. also breaking overnight a false report of shots fired causing panic at l.a.x. hundreds of travelers were sent running outside as police searched the terminals. they found no evidence of shots fired or a gunman. the reports. no word what that was and it was similar incident at jfk. people cheering watching the olympics prompted reports of shots fired there. this morning police investigating after another duck boat accident in boston. >> storrow drive how do you not know this. oh, man. >> that duck boat hit an overpass on storrow drive

board at the time. good news is no one was hurt. firefighters helped them off and onto another one and the accident ripped off part of the roof of the duck boat and the damage on its stairs and the overpass was not damaged a spokesperson issued a statement saying in part a first year driver was diverted off the standard tower route due to beacon street being closed. duck tours says storrow drive is not part of the tour and they are reviewing the incident. fitchburg police are suspect. look at the pictures. they say this man robbed a cvs at park hill plaza around 12:30 sunday afternoon. the suspect is described as a thin white man about 5-5 with a neck tattoo. they also released a photo of a car that may be involved. they say it may be missing a hubcap on the driver's side. if you see the man, police say don't approach him, just call them immediately. firefighters in southbridge battled two fires and

every option including whether this could be arson. wbz jim smith has more for us. >> reporter: a long busy sunday stretched into the night in southbridge as american crews rushed to yet another -- emergency crews rushed to yet another fire. hours after a fire broke out downtown. that earlier alarm fire tore through a huge brick building with apartments on top and businesses on the bottom a fewfor fighters were treated fo was hurt in either fire. now investigators have questions. >> here in southbridge a couple years ago we had an arsonist who was lighting multiple buildings on fire at that time. i don't know if that's happening today. that's why we will use all the assets the state has to help us figure some of the things out to see if there's common threads or if there aren't any. >> reporter: the downtown fire displayed a dozen residents and damaged a number of businesses including a thrift shop dedicated helping the needy.

because we just gotten a,000 dollars worth of toys towards christmas for toys for tots and these guys started pulling them out when it happened but they are all good. >> reporter: not everyone was that lucky. some businesses are in ruins. >> my hairdresser is on the bottom floor and they lost everything. it's a shame they just did everything over and it's a shame i saw them earlier and gave them a hug and they were crying and i feel so gad for -- bad for them. >> reporter: no serious injuries from either of the fires. see if there are links in anyway. in southbridge jim smith. >> a 3 alarm fire destroyed the farm now is northboro it dates back to 1800. more recently it's home to a firefighter and his family. one person inside suffered smoke inhalation and a firefighter on scene had to be treated for an ankle injury. no word on how the fire started. 4:35 on your monday morning, a teen due in court

friend. 19-year-old joseph kapp of gardner was not hurt but investigators say he was drunk when his car went out of control after a 3 -- 3 a.m. on saturday morning and hit several trees. justin aj robbins was killed in the crash. the community is remembering thelunenburg high school football star right now. >> he was always happy and caring about everybody else. >> we watched them grow up from kindergarten to here and we hoped they future and then it's god gone. >> kapp face as list of charges. police identified a couple in involved in a murder- suicide. john griffin stabbed his ex- wife several times and took his own life. officers say even though they were divorced for more than 25 years rebecca griffin would go to john's hep home to help with

4:52. our top stories. police are investigating how a duck boat crashed into anoverpass. it happened on storrow drive east. there were 23 20? passengers and the criefer on board no one was hrt but part of the roof was ripped off and the ladder was damaged. boston duck tours says they don't drive on storrow but end up there after being diverted off beacon investigators are investigating two fires. the first on central street businesses were destroyed as were the apartments upstairs. hours later a house fire broke out nearby. investigators are trying to figure out if they are connected. and a teenage age driver due -- a teenage driver due in court accused of causing a crash that killed his friend. the driver joseph kapp was not hurt. he was drunk when his car lost

trees. former lunenburg football star austin robbins was killed. a mass will be held today to remember two nuns killed in their homes in mississippi. paula merrill and sister margaret held were remembered. more than 300 people were there. robert earl sanders was arrested and charged in the deaths of the county sheriff says sanders confessed to murders but gave no motive for the crime. two brothers are facing first degrow murder charges accused of killing the cousin of nba star wade. police say the two killed 3the 32-year-old on -- the 32-year- old on friday. she was pushing her baby in stroller. investigators say the suspects are brothers who missed the target and hit her instead. police say one of the suspects was on parole. the other is a known gang member. transit police investigating after a bicyclist was hit and killed by a

at the park street crossing. investigators say it looks like the man ignored the crossing gates and witnesses say the arms why down and warning lights were flashing and ringing when the victim went around them and was hit. a teenager is in serious condition after a dirt bike accident on the cape. the 14-year-old fell down an embankment riding deep in the mashpee woods. paramedics flew the teen to mass general. boston police will begin using body cameras this week. they will go live september 1. train began last week. 100 officers will be wearing the new cameras. they were chosen by a department consultant after no one volunteered for the 6 month program. the officers with the cameras will be patrolling some of the high crime neighborhoods college campuses and tourist hot spots. a study shows parents are still weary of vaccinating their kids. the american academy of pediatrics says more parents are opting to delay vaccines or
