71 in boston right now. same in manchester and lawrence at 70 in concord new hampshireshy of 70 in portland maine and a lot of us are in the 60s. 67 in worcester. upper 60s in the vineyard. dew points in the 60s so yes it's a little bit muggy right now. and that humidity is going to be with us at least for the time being before we see a gradual lowering in the dew points for the second half of the day. that will be behind a cold front that's crossing the region this morning. where's the rain with it? we need it but there's no lot of moisture with this front so we can't rule out a stray sprinkle and thickening clouds between now and mid to late morning. and then clearing comes in after that. so sunrise coming up 6 minutes from now. sun and clouds a little muggy through midday. we make a run at 90 in spots and mid-80s with the ride home with clearing and warm with a sunset at 7:22. more on weather coming up. let's get to traffic and weather together. >> reporter: traffic is started

and that goes all the way to mistic valley parkway in medford this morning. south of the tunnel, is not in great shake either 128 in braintree is slow and go route 3 is backing up to weymouth but look at that chunk of red on the expressway. from furnace brook to boston. 30 minutes at that stretch. >> thanks very much. breaking overnight reports of a bomb at a crime lab inbelgium are likely false. that's according there. belgium media reported a car crash through three fenses around 2 this morning then an explosion went off. prosecutors in brussels say there was no bomb and this was likely an arson attack. no one was hurt but the damage is significant. belgium has been on high alert since an attack in the airport and subway in march. also breaking overnight a false report of shots fired causing panic at l.a.x. hundreds of travelers were sent running outside as police searched the terminals.

a loud noise spurred the reports. no word on what that noise was. a similar incident two weeks ago at jfk airport. people cheering while watching the olympics prompted reports of shots fired there. and breaking overnight, crews battling a fire in lawrence. the flames broke out at the home on lafayette avenue around 1:30. three residents got out of the home safely. they are looking for another place to stay. the fire has been knocked down. officials are what caused it. another duck boat crash in boston. >> the company revealing new details about the incident and the driver. anna meiler is live in boston. this caused a headache for a lot of people on storrow. >> reporter: no one on board was hurt but what was supposed to be a fun tour of the city turned into a chaotic day when it struck the overpass on storrow drive. >> duck boat. storrow drive how do you not

as they pass a disabled duck boat on the side of the road with part of the roof ripped off. state police say the amphibious vehicle was east on storrow drive when it hit a low overpass. boston duck boat tour says there's damage to part of the convertible roof and later -- ladder but no one on board was hurt. firefighters responded to the scene using a ladder to help 20 pass jees jers get off safely. in a statement the company says diverted off the standard route because beacon street was closed. a spokesperson says duck boats do not typically travel on storrow drive and the driver's actions although not intentional will be under review by company safety experts who will conduct a thorough analysis of the event. state police are investigating the crash. reporting live in boston, anna meiler, wbz this morning. this morning fitchburg

19-year-old joseph kapp of gardner was drunk. >> we watched them grow up from kindergarten to here and we hoped they would have promising future and then it is gone. >> reporter: aj graduated from high school in may. friend say he was a leader among them and on the football field. . >> he was not just another player. he helped bring the team together. >> reporter: but now sadness in the tight knit community filled with grief as one of their own was taken a second passenger in the vehicle. kapp faces multiple charges including motor vehicle homicide and drunk driving. he is due in court today. in the satellite center nicole jacobs wbz to morning. this morning investigators are looking into whether two fires are connected in southbridge. the first started yesterday afternoon and quickly scaled to 6 alarms. about a dozen people are looking for a new place to live. several businesses down stairs

the two nuns. the holmes county sheriff says sanders confessed to the murders but gave no motive. two brothers are facing first-degree murder charges in chicago accused of killing the cousin of nba star dwyane wade. she was pushing her baby in a stroller and investigators say the suspects are brothers who missed the intended target and hit her instead. police say one of the suspects was on parole and the other is a known gang member. san quarterback colin kaepernick is receiving backlash for refusing to stand during the national anthem but he is standing by the decision and refused to stand before three preseason games and says by sitting he is taking a stand for african americans. >> i will continue to sit. i am going to continue to stand with the people that are being oppressed. to me this is something that has to change and when there's significant change and i feel like that flag represents what it is supposed to represent and the country represents people
