story from new hampshire this morning. a concord man drowns while trying to save four children. this happened yesterday afternoon at profile falls. the kids ages 7, 8 be and 13 when one of them started to struggle. a 39-year-old relative jumped in to help. a good samaritan rescued the children. a disturbing discovery. police find dozens of dangerous weapons inside a local man's home and investigators say he wanted and president obama. >> anna miler is live in hollister. anna, very disturbing. >> reporter: and chris, neighbors looked on in shock as the fbi raided this home here in holliston where they discovered parts of an ar-15 rifle, ammunition, tasers, hunting knives and more. and officials say this man was getting ready to use them. joseph garguilo faced a judge in federal court monday just days after the fbi raided his home.

>> reporter: those workers we are left dangling for more than an hour. the two state bridge inspectors were in that bucket when the truck overturned on the bridge yesterday. firefighters were able to reach the men and they transferred the workers into another bucket and then hoisted them back to the bridge. >> we had a heavy wrecker come in and secure the truck so that it wouldn't tip any further over. >> reporter: the men were taken to the hospital with only m injuries. their truck malfunctioned. an investigation is underway to figure out exactly what went wrong. traffic was stopped for several hours during the rescue operation. chris. >> all right. thank you very much. new developments on that duck boat crash. the operator has now been cited for overheight violation and fined $100. that driver says he was only on that road because protesters forced a detour. no one was hurt but part of the roof was ripped off in the crash. a brookline couple is hoping

and making serious threats. joseph garguilo appeared in federal court yesterday. the fbi raided his home after getting a tip that he had parts to make an ar-15 and was stockpiling weapons including guns, tasers and mace. he's accused of threatening to attack, police, muslims and president obama. a detention hearing will be held tomorrow. today crews will be installing new safety barriers outside a newton restaurant. they were excavating outside sweet tomatoes yesterday. they're being put in place to one in mash that killed two people. a sign said the restaurant will reopen this summer. terrifying moments for a family in lynn when a bullet tears into a bedroom narrowly missing a mother and two children. a passing car fired a shot early saturday morning which went through a bedroom wind and -- window and left a hole in the ceiling. it came dangerously close to the family inside, including an infant. luckily no one was hurt.

some gainey surveillance video but police say they cannot identify the car. >> lay down on the bed, and the car drive here and shoot. and then drive past. so she got so panicked and she start to cry and we call -- and she called the police. >> police are analyzing the bullet they recovered from the home, hoping it will help them find the shooter. a little boy who nearly drowned is now home from the a backyard pool on thursday before first responders arrived. he was semi conscience at the time and flown to boston children's hospital. today marks one year since a new hampshire woman was killed while out for a walk. and no arrests have been made in connection with the murder of denise robert. police have gone door to door searching for information with little being made public about that investigation. they're still asking the public to come forward with any tips in the case. anthony weiner at the center

his marriage. while the former congressman is yet again the butt of many jokes, our john keller explains why this is anything but a laughing matter. >> reporter: good morning. anthony weiner was a man who had everything. a successful career on the rise, a beautiful wife, and more recently a healthy son. but after his latest sexting scandal, this won including an inappropriate picture of himself with a little boy asleep nearby, it's all gone, or soon will gone. his wife, a top aide to hillary clinton, is leaving him. and after his latest display of abysmal judgment, you can imagine how the child custody deliberations will go. and after two previous appalling episodes with a -- where he was caught sexting with strange women, the jokes all but write themselves. but while i enjoy a good laugh as much as anyone, i don't find this spectacle especially

from a serious mental illness. medical experts still argue whether or not sexting is a disease, but surely we can agree that the chronic repetition of risky behavior, even after the sexter is publicly humiliated and the damage to career and family relationships is clear, well, that's all a sign of serious personal problems. and how many times do we have to see stories of the damage sexting can do to we stop giggling about it? anthony weiner is not an especially sympathetic character. he was a harsh angry partisan in congress and his problems are strictly self-inflicted. but we live any -- in an age where mental illness is start tock get the serious understanding it requires. it would be a shame if weiner's pathetic saga were to set back that progress.

president obama reaching his goal of admitting 10,000 syrian refugees in the united states -- into the united states. it hit the goal yesterday, about a month early. it also comes just a few weeks before president obama convened a summit on refugees during the general assembly. a big winner claiming their prize from a nearly half a billion dollar jackpot. >> it's not the ticket holder himself. but rather the store that sold today the superior court will receive a check for $75,000. they plan to donate that money to several charities in new hampshire. the big question remains, who is holding that $487 million winning ticket. that winner has a year to come forward. >> i think it's a long lost aunt of mine just waiting to make sure the affairs are in order. >> are we somehow related because i was thinking the same thing. >> hey, there's plenty to go around. still ahead, two popular retailers now teaming up.

your tuesday morning. >> reporter: the fbi uncovered a stockpile of weapons at this home here in holliston, including parts to make an ar-15 rifle and ammunition. the homeowner 40-year-old joseph garguilo appeared in federal court on monday. he's accused of making threats against president obama, police officers, and members of the islamic state. officials said he's tasers, and materials inside his home and allegedly stated he wanted to plant a bomb in a police sta hear what neighbors have to say coming up. live in holliston, wbz this morning. a gardner teenager is being held on $2,500 bail after authorities say he crashed his car while drunk, killing his friend. 19-year-old joseph cap pleaded not guilty yet to vehicular homicide and oui. police say he lost control of his car early saturday morning. the crash killed 18-year-old austin robbins. the mother visit the crash site

jacobs, wbz this morning. the faa's new rules for drones are now in effect. the devices can no longer fly at night and have to stay below 400 feet. the operator has to see the drone at all times. before a drone operator had to apply for sperm waivers. hollywood is remembering the life of gene wilder. his family says he died in connecticut from complications of alzheimer's. wilder was 83 years old. he starred a new development in the soaring cost of the epipen. the drug maker will now offer cheaper generic version. it will sell for $300. that's half the price of the name brand. the generic version will be available in the next several weeks. also in the health watch this morning, possible progress in the fight against chronic fatigue syndrome. researchers in california say they've identified a key chemical characteristic in the blood of chronic fatigue
