and a cambridge ruck woshgs seriously hurt after falling 12 feet. it took about an hour for rescue crews to pull the worker out. the 30-year-old worker was taken to mass general for treatment. the victim of a sexual assault at a prestigious prep school now stepping out of the shadows. >> they no longer wants to hide. she hopes by going public she will become a voice for victims. brianna pitts has more. >> reporter: she was 15 years old at the time of the inciden she says she's not afraid or ashamed of what happened. she wants other victims to know it's okay to come forward. >> they said that they didn't believe that he did it knowingly. and that frustrated me a lot because he definitely did do it knowingly. and the fact that he was still able to pull the wool over a group of people's eyes bothered me a lot. >> reporter: breaking her silence this morning in an

nbc. route revealing she was a new hampshire prep school student sexually assaulted. la brie was accounted on three counts of felony sexual assault in august of 2015. he was convicted on three counts of misdemeanor sexual assault, illegal use of computer services and endangering the welfare of a child. la brie, who is currently registered as a sex offender in new hampshire, is appealing. rout says once she and her family didn't get the apology they were looking for, she she had to come forward. prout who took the stand, testifying for three days during the trial, says now she's taking a bigger stand against sexual assault. saying, quote, it's been two years now since the whole ordeal and i feel ready to stand up and own what happened to me and make sure other people, other girls and boys, don't need to be ashamed either. in unthe prouts filed a lawsuit.

mayor of everett is demanding lawmakers pass new restrictions on ride sharing services like uber. >> for the second time in the last few weeks an uber driver has been arrested on criminal charges. anna meiler is live with us more. reporter: the mayor wants to have a meeting with uber to talk about how to get their residents safe after a driver was arrested for allegedly exposing himself and it wasn't the first time. uber driver paul bail after he allegedly exposed himself to a woman in everett. he didn't show his face as he was arraigned in court yesterday on charges of -- resisting arrest. turns out griffin was also arrested in march. raising concerns of how he could stay on the job until now. the city of everett is trying to set up a meeting with uber to talk safety concerns.

to step up and we need to take a close he -- closer look at this. these situations are appalling. >> reporter: griffin cleared a company background check when he began working for uber. but uber did not know about the incident in march until yesterday because massachusetts doesn't have a system in place to let private companies now about recent arrests. governor baker says the new legislation will help the state keep a closer i didn't on drivers. >> if anybody under the new law breaks the law, we're going to find out a in a position to notify the networking company about it. they'll going to get served. they're going to get re-upped twice a year. so it's not like you get one check one time and nothing ever happens. >> reporter: that new legislation goes into effect in november. governor baker says he will work aggressively for companies like uber and lyft to make sure all drivers are processed through

warehouse company last night. flammable products inside caused the flames to spread quickly and cause several explosions. the chief says the fire is suspicious because there is no electricity to that building. a concord man drowned trying to save four children swimming at profile falls in bristol, new hampshire. the children ages 7, 8, 10, and 13 were playing in the water when one of them started to struggle. 39-year-old relative jumped in to help them. he went under the water and did not resurface. people nearby rescued the kids and pulled the adult's body from information about a disturbing discovery in holliston. prosecutors say joseph garguilo was stockpiling weapons. he wanted to target police, muslim and homeland security officers. the fbi raided his home. they say they discovered handwritten notes, threatening violence including against president obama. court pea work shows he had several ref straining orders taken out against him for threatening behavior. neighbors say he was trouble.

look at the satellite and radar. don't need me to tell you nothing going on. we've had a few more clouds back through maine. a few showers, don't have to worry about that. our next disturbance is back through the midwest. some parts of indiana stretching back down 32 illinois through iowa. this is going to move in our direction and bring us some wet weather but not until wednesday night and thursday. tonight is comfortable for sleeping. 68 for an overnight low in boston. some of the suburbs dip in the upper 50s. the wind is going to be from the southwest. so the humidity is going to go up a little bit overnight tonight but it's nothing oppressive. a lot of first day for school tomorrow, 65 for a temperature in the bus stop in the morning. recess, no issues, lower 80s and then the ride home, temperatures will be cooling off gradually through the 70s with a few more clouds that will come into the mix. tomorrow's forecast coming up

bit cooler. so 85 to 90 for most of us in the wooster hills. it's going to be humid. 90 in norwood. 80s for most us in the cape. what about the thunderstorm threat? tomorrow it's really minimal. just playing things through for you. right in the evening, most of us are dry. a little bit of green showing up. north and west of boston, there may be an isolated storm or two that night. other than that, thursday morning a couple of scattered showers light for your morning commute. this is the map at 7:30. so rush hour in the morning features maybe your wipers on intermittently. what happens in the afternoon is a cold front, approximates through and that will spark a few more scattered showers. i know we need the rain. it's not going to be anything widespread but it looks like we'll have a chance at some rain thursday afternoon.
