five months ago saying he forced his way into their home and threatened their son with a knife. a cafe damaged when an out of control truck smashed through it will open tomorrow. a quincy man hit the square cafe injuring two people inside. both of them have been released from the hospital. and the driver is facing several traffic a dangerous situation in pitfield. firefighters say the flammable products helped the fire spread awfully fast. the chief says the fire is suspicious because the building had no electricity. no one was hurt. as election day approaches, voters seem to be disliking the two major party candidates more and more. jon keller has been taking a

and john, a downward trend at this point in the race is unusual. >> it's really unusual. normally, we see approval ratings hold steady or improve as the campaign wears on. not this time. even four years ago after a race thought to be the nastiest ever. both president obama and mitt romney improved their favorability. on august 4th days after the ratings of the summer. now the gap has doubled. and it's been an even worse slide for donald trump. after the republican convention he was a dozen points under water and now a whopping 26 points. one new poll shows voters have a higher opinion of public bathrooms than donald trump. and i'm sure the campaign is not flushed with success.

>> there's a lot of reasons. millions of dollars of attack ads on trump have not helped his image. and his unwise fight with the gold star parents to his wobble on immigration policy. all of a sudden, the free media coverage is more poisonous than promotional. and on the defensive is not a great look for trump. and it doesn't play clinton either. summer headlines about her e- mails and the clinton foundation have not improved her dismal trust numbers which lag well behind trump and that's a problem without a short term answer. and both of these campaigns have got to be looking for answers. a third of voters don't like either of them. that's unprecedented. >> it will be the battle of who is disliked less.

believe it or not. this is august incolorado springs. several inches of pea-sized hail fell during a strong storm there. plow trucks had to come in to remove it. they had to bring in the plow trucks. and there were flooding in the area with some of the current so strong that cars were moved. >> you only get hail in the summertime.

and notice the 20% on sunday. that has to do with the tropics. we're watching tropical depression number 9. and it's a little disorganized and looks more impressive than it has. it's moving across the gulf of mexico slowly. the big bend of florida and there's a hurricane watch out there. and florida has not been hit by a hurricane in 11 years. it's been an exceptionally long strength before it comes on shore. and towards the weekend, the track takes it off the east coast. and then it's going to start stalling out and trying to move towards us. and the timing would be late sunday to monday. the biggest question is how a big ridge of high pressure is going to evolve. the slower it moves, the better odds are that it would come into new england. this will slow down and be offshore. and then it may start to move back to the coastline late
