new tonight, police arrested a lexington man, saying he'd been exposing himself to students near a school. >> and he has a history of similar crimes dating back to 20 his face today but he couldn't hide from his past. this is 30-year-old jacob hall, a twice convicted sex offender in new hampshire. he spent three years in prison for his offenses there. now police say he's exposed himself to teenage girls in lexington.

trail, where police say hall exposed himself to the girls the first time. the second time police were called was yesterday here at the park. but when police arrived, he took off running toward the high school. a police officer chased him down this path and had to tackle him in a playground. >> he did admit to having been there both that day and the day before. >> reporter: and people who use the park were stunned to of it. >> i think it's everywhere now. we have to be vigilant all the time. >> reporter: he was held on high bail but if he gets out of jail, he was ordered to stay out of lexington. police are searching for a killer after a late night shooting. officers rushed to gallagher's pub on west royal street about 11:30 p.m.

sunday marks 15 years since the september 11th attacks. this morning in new york city, a moment of silence at the new york stock exchange in lower manhattan. in washington, d.c., a moment of silence to honor victims and survivors, ending with the singing of god bless america. and attorney general loretta lynch dedicated a commat planted last year. this is a sapling that came from a pear tree that once stood on the world trade center plaza in 2001 and survived the attack. cancer remains one of the biggest concerns for 9/11 survivors. new research shows rescue and recovery workers as well as residents nearby who were exposed to the dust and debris from ground zero have an increased risk of cancer,

tonight 4 million vehicles are being recalled from general motors because of software that could keep air bags from going off and seat belts from functioning correctly. it involves about 17 models dating back to 2014. we have the full list at cbsboston.com. tomorrow hannah ford stores will be transformed and locations in milford, eastern norwood and kingston will open under the new name. we didn't see rock bottom lobster prices this summer. last month prices reached their highest in more than 10 years, $8.50 for a 1.25-pound lobster.

dozens of tourists right there, trapped high in the sky. >> they were in these cable cars over the french alps when the cables got tangled in the high winds. 110 people left dangling nearly 1000 crews worked until midnight but could only get about half the people down. the rest of them had to spend the night in the cable cars and they were rescued this morning. this was a frightening scene in austin, texas this afternoon. someone drove their car off the top level of a parking garage and high tension wires kept them from falling to the ground. the driver was not hurt, crews

tomorrow morning we wake up, expecting mostly cloudy skies and a chance of showers as this warm front is lifting north across the area. by lunchtime it's starting to make progress into central massachusetts, then in the afternoon we'll get into brighter skies and more sunshine from south to north. then head into tomorrow night, the cold front getting closer showers but most should be during the first half of sunday. it's not coming through during the peak heating, which limits our rainfall chances. a couple of showers on sunday, drying out from west to east as we head through the afternoon. and then that big area of high pressure moving overhead by monday. tomorrow's temps, in the afternoon warming into the 80s
