situation where there was violent abuse in the past and there are ties of a child. >> reporter: the father of emilio de la rosa, the father of the child's, was released from state prison in january after kidnappingeries and attempting to murder her. court papers show a long list of abuse claims over many years. when she was pregnant, she that he put a hand around her neck and began to squeeze it and documents show that he took her head and hit it against the wall in the bathtub, writing he grabbed me by the neck the day before telling me that the child will be left without a mom. i'm scared for my life along with my child's life. he loosened the restrictions on

boston rooftops. three buildings were affected, and there were no injuries. them a fire damage aid home off jerusalem road. you can see the fire burning at the back of the home. they had to bring in crews from surrounding towns. the roof collapsed. the people whoive lead here were not home at the time but tonight, their dog is missing and the fire is under investigation. >> investigators say thae a woman -- eyes of a woman who hit and kill aid woman in her 70s. the woman was walking on the street, and the driver said they did not see her originally because of the sun. no charges have been filed. in dover, part of a cree came crashing down on top of a woman's car at 7:45. the woman was taken to the

they said, quote, having an all- male cast is an artistic decision. some at harvard want it to be open to women as well. this comes as we are learning that another all male club at harvard has tired a team of lawyers potentially to challenge a rule change. harvard announced students in single-gender social groups will be banned from campus leadership positions and the club has hired a team headed by harvey silvergate but they have not said if they will file suit. they called the sanctions bad judgment and bad policy. david? >> liam, thank you. and speaking of harvard, they just missed the top spot in the top colleges in the country.

donor or a recipient or a living donor. >> it's a lot to ask of someone to go through that and give up a piece of themselves. >> reporter: she needs it. >> she needs it. >> reporter: the family is grateful for the love and support that they have received but she needs a liver transplant within the year and they know it will get tougher. >> it's overwhelming. i'm 30-year-old and this is my first baby and you think you will have a newborn d that you didn't get to do that. >> with a healthy liver, she is predicted to have a healthy and long life. >> reporter: the family is grateful at boston children's hospital and hope for a miracle. >> in reality, she may not get it before she needs one. the doctors and nurses have been unbelievable, and we trust. >> reporter: until then, gabby

kick up. that will be the biggest factor for mid week. tomorrow morning, warmer, well in the 60s and we're over 80 by lunchtime and then well in the 80s in the afternoon. that's when we'll have building clouds and winds getting stronger and a chance for thunderstorms late in the afternoon and in the evening time frame. looking it to be faster than yesterday. it will be right around the evening rush, and coming up short, forecasting 89 for a high in boston, way above average and a few degrees shy of the record from 1931. a couple degrees short of the mark. in terms of the severe weather aspect, the biggest concern for damaging wind gusts like last sunday, over 50 miles per hour. it could bring down trees and i'ms and power lines, and that's what we'll focus on
