at exit 36. that's mont daily exit. back up is only to exit 37. but that is a busy area. traffic will probably increase quickly there. we're starting to see delays in mill bury. the breakdown lane is closed. the truck won't be removed until after 9:00 a.m. so try to avoid that area. chris and kate. >> thank you. breaking overnight a 17 year old from beverly arrested accused of stabbing someone during a home invasion. police say t into a home on living stone avenue, demanded money and then stabbed the 25-year-old man. that victim was taken to the hospital. police and k9 units from several towns tracked down the suspect in a nearby backyard. he will be arraigned in salem juvenile court today. this morning, crews will be back at a local pond searching for a missing swimmer there. wbz's nick giovanni is live with a closer look at those everies. nick. -- those efforts, nick. >> reporter: it's been more than

missing. we're now told the search to find him has become a recovery mission. all eyes have been on great herring pond in plymouth since wednesday afternoon as a search for a missing swimmer turned into a recovery mission. >> jumped off with no life jacket. >> reporter: first responders say three people were out in a boat, two of them swimming when wind gusts blew the boat away. the 26-year-old man was unable to make back to the boat or to >> the mass maritime actually helped one of the person get out of the water and dropped a buoy there and so they know where the starting point would be for the search. >> reporter: divers an crews in boats responded to the scene. they scoured the surface of the water and the ledges of the lake facing a unique set of challenges. >> there is sections that is over 100-foot where they're at right you no. it's grassy and mucky down below. it's very hard for advisability down there. >> reporter: meanwhile the coast guard chopper searched from the sky.

we have a mug shot for you this morning of the man police say is responsible. this is 29 year old christopher molina. he is charged with up-skirting. he is accused of taking a photo of an employee at that dollar tree store. police were called to the store yesterday, around 4:30 in the afternoon. it's unclear if this was the first occurrence, nonetheless, molina is now charged with a misdemeanor. he is expected to be arraigned here in malden is ultimately found guilty, he faces up to 2.5 years in jail and a $5,000 fine. we're live in malden, nicole jacobs, wbz this morning. >> thank you very much for the update. appreciate it. the hundreds of criminal drug cases in norfolk county may have been compromised after evidence was lost and mishandled. a month's long audit found nearly 2500 items of evidence, 60 guns and more than $400,000,

but it is now a tropical depression with 35 miles per hour winds. it's moving really slow. east right now at two miles per hour. so julia is eventually going to dwindle out over the ocean but we'll meander here off the coastline in the carolinas over the next several days. for us, quiet weather here at home. but it's definitely cool, temperatures in the mid to upper 60s at the coast. low 70s through the interior today. so well below average, or least much cooler. it's going to be crisp overnight tonight and clear, 40s in the suburbs, 54 downtown. i wouldn't be surprised if a couple of spots dip into the upper 30s because of the clear skies and the calm wind, 75 for a high tomorrow. just a beautiful end to the week. we'll be in the low 70s at the coastline. high pressure in control, staying in control the next couple of days. keeps us dry through the start of the weekend. here's a map on saturday. clouds increase late in the day out ahead of showers and

parreden. he searched time for attack being i man. wahlberg tells the rap he now regrets asking to have that conviction expunged. wahlberg says he's glad he was able to meet the victim as well as that man's wife and daughter and finally apologize. new overnight, police in ohio shoot and kill a 13-year-old boy armed with a bb gun. it happened in columbia, ohio last night. police were responding to reports of a robbery and chased the 13 year old into an al hi the columbus police department says tha pull something out of his waistband so they opened fire. the weapon was later shown to be a bb gun with a laser site. list in new jersey want to know how a kindergartener student ended up with 30 envelopes of heroin in a lunch box. the trenton 5 year old was playing with something that looked like a candy wrapper at first but a closer look showed it was actually drags wrapped in wax paper. the drugs were found in the

ingested the drug. the so-called miracle on the hudson trigged books, a movie and almost three dozen safety recommendations. but seven years later, very few of those have been put into place. of the 35 recommendations made by the national transportation safety board, only six have been finished. according to an associated press review, among those recommendations, better pilot training, life vests, and flotation devices on all planes and better instruction for passengers on how to use well, good samaritans come to rescue of a driver trapped inside his burning truck wedged underneath a school bus. it happened in winston-salem, north carolina. a pick-up truck and school bus collided. a tow truck driver and six police officers broke the windows and used the tow truck to pull the pick up out from under the bus. then with the help of firefighters, they finally got that driver out. that man is expected to be okay. >> what a wild scene there.

the cause of this junkyard fire in bridgewater. sky eye was over the scene yesterday. it's a salvage yard for auto parts. dozens of cars were burned but nobody was hurt. and new this morning, the 18th great white shark of the season has been tagged off the cape. exciting news, kate. working with the atlantic white shark conservancy tagged that the shark yet. a police officer and a starbucks employee are both being credited a the officer was called to help a woman who got stranded at the loop and had no money to get home. he handed over $24 of his own money to pay for a cab and the starbucks employee chipped in the rest. the police chief says small gestures like that can make a big difference in the community. >> i mean, your first instinct sometimes is just to go on your way and ignore them. but that's a lots of money to hand over to a total stranger. >> you know what? it worked out and it was a good
