rain act tomorrow. so just about a 30% chance. we drop it down on tuesday morning and 0% on wednesday and thursday. so the rain has been primarily focused across northern new england and a few showers and thunderstorms will break out up in here will there will be more than an inch. so pretty good shape in far northern new england. it's down here in central and southern new england which a extreme deficit here of rainfall over the past couple of years. so as we go through time tomorrow morning we get more showers and thunderstorms forming and another batch forming during tomorrow across southern new england. where this batch forms will determine who gets a lot of rain obviously. it looks like it may be pointed toward boston but not sure how some of the action develops. the temperatures are

different than yesterday morning when it was mainly between 40 and 50, and 65 in boston, that's the dew point right now. high humidity it's not oppressively humid but not far from it and certainly a lot different from yesterday. highs across the nation most of the country is in the 80s, we've got a 67 in seattle parts of the west coast cooler but everywhere else it's on the warm side. the humidity is pouring up into the n out in scattered form in advance of that front. as the front gets closer it's going to start slowing down. we're seeing radar putting down a few showers in northern new england, but not really amounting to that much. let's follow them throughout the day and you see the showers that are coming they're going to dry up as they get closer and closer to boston. there might be a sprinkle in some of the northwestern suburbs.

through the clouds. lots of cloudness but occasional sunshine. it's muggy with the southwest breeze. and in the city, hour by hour, going into the afternoon hours. as we go up to the lower 80s with clouds ruling the sky. but sunshine occasionally popping through. and these dew points will not change much. upper 60s and staying that way through tonight and tomorrow night. making it a rather muggy period going through into very earl be in the 80s today and with a cold front on the way, that's why we're getting a shower breaking are out ahead of the front here. not really well organized. there will be pieces of energy coming along. tend to develop these batches of showers. so it's not going to be a solid shield of rain. the first batch of showers, it's approaching now, is weakening and will pretty much disappear from the map. as we get into the afternoon p it goes in the lower 80s.
