the unattended vehicle was towed away and is under investigation. the airport has since reopened. also breaking a curfew in charlotte north carolina just expired at 6 a.m. it fobbing e-- took effect at midnight. some demonstrators stayed in the streets. police say they wouldn't force them out as long as they remained peaceful. the mayor put the midnight to 6 a.m. curfew into effect after days of violent demonstrations. >> the protests in response to the deadly officer-involved shooting of a black tuesday. just yesterday, the family of keith lamont scott watched body camera footage and police dash cam video of the shooting. the lawyer says the videodoesn't clearly show whether scott had anything in his hand when he was shot. police have said he what gun on him. the family wants police to release the video to the public but the chief argues doing so could undermined the investigation. in oklahoma a white police offer who shot and killed a unarmed black man is facing manslaughter charges.

shows terence crutcher walking away from police with his arms in the air when betty shelby shot him in tulsa last week. her attorney says crutcher was not following police orders and reached into his suv when shelby fired that single shot. new overnight, a civilian traffic officer working a construction detail in lexington hit by a vehicle. this happened around 11:30 last night at fallen road and pleasant street. thankfully the vehicle was not going too fast and driver stayed at the scene to get be okay. he went to the hospital with a leg injury. a developing story right now in stoughton a teen shot inside cvs storech the search is onto fine suspects. nicole jacobs is live with the details. >> reporter: kate, this morning stoughton police tell me there is not an update they can release at this time. but last night the interim police chief made it clear that they know what happened in and

video. skyeye above a stoughton cvs store where thursday afternoon there was a shooting. >> everybody came running out of the store. >> reporter: wbz has learned there were a number of customers inside the store along with employees. they were not injured. >> it was a customer that was inside the store three individual walked into the store today and had an altercation and one was shot. >> reporter: ne police chief says a 18-year-old was shot in the shoulder area and taken to the hospital. >> certainly this bothers me. it was not a random act. >> reporter: authorities are not revealing much about what transpired only saying that they are interviewing witnesses and looking at surveillance. this woman saw the aftermath. >> it looked like he was resisting and they threw him on the ground and they put him into the back of the car. >> reporter: the store remained closed while investigators processed the scene. >> i am thinking it's a brazen

above average so far. in boston 63. we are seeing high cloudiness in the sky. dew point is 51 and it's not humid a light southerly breeze and it's shifting into the north northeast by late this afternoon. hour by hour in boston, it goes up to by 9:00, 70 by 11 and 77, 82 by 1 and 82 at 3. in between it might get up to 38or 48 -- 83 or 84 in boston the cloudiness may thin out times as well. where the cloud cover rolled in up to the north temperatures didn't go that low because of the protective cloud blanket. but it was mostly clear in southern new england much of the night so it did fall in the upper 40s to lower 50s with the radiational cooling as noted the dew points are low. generally in the low to middle 50s. and the air is nice and dry. it is not going a have a chance to get humid before the front comes. showers in northern new england but most will die out across

morning. we probably will not have anything so no rain this morning and even a good chunk of the afternoon maybe rain free here in southern new england. but the wind will shift. watch the time stamp. the cloudiness tends to thin allowing the sun to penetrate through somewhat from time to time. so we get up to a low and a few middle 80s the first part of the afternoon. the winds start to shift this afternoon around 4:00 so the temperatures start to fall a little bit. but it's actually the front is down here tonight but the showers form behind the ahead of the front. this time they will form behind the front this evening to produce the showers as they cut down through southern new england and the cooler and dry air comes in and it will be cleared up by daybreak except southeastern massachusetts and patches of clouds there much of tomorrow with breaks of sunshine as it does go into the 60s tomorrow and upper 60s all thanks to this cold front here coming southeastward. there is hot weather in the middle part of the nation. here is tropical storm karl

he can spied. protest -- expired. protesters did stay in the streets and police say they wouldn't force them out as lopping as they remained peaceful. a suspicious vehicle shut down a terminal at laguardia airport there. was a heavy police presence and some travelers reported men in uniforms armed with long guns patrolling the area. the unattended vehicle was towed away and is under investigation. the airport investigators have still not been able to question the man suspected in the new york and new jersey bombings because of his injuries. the fbi says ahmad rahami has been unconscious and incubated for most of the time since undergoing surgery. cbs news also learned rahami might have cased the neighborhood he targeted in advance. his wife is back in the united states. she is said to be cooperating with investigators and they have not said whether she is considered a suspect. 6:36 now.

video. the interim chief says they've pretty good idea of exactly what transpired inside. >> i am thinking it's very brazen act there were people in the store and other potential victims and be thankful there were not other victims. >> reporter: that 18-year-old is expected to be okay. he was taken to good samaritan hospital with nonlife- threatening injuries. again, no arrests have been made in this case. anyone with contact police. live in stoughton nicole jacobs wbz this morning. the search is on for the driver of a black four-door mercedes hit and killed a motorists in lawrence. police say it started what motorcyclist hit two pedestrians on route 114 and that motorcyclist was hit by a car that police say didn't stop. they say it is possible the driver didn't even realize theyhit someone. two pedestrians were taken to the hospital and both are
