until 6:00 a.m. this were southbound it would ab i problem for the morning commute. northbound shouldn't be so bad. i am expecting it to cause delays. we'll keep our eye on it. we begin with a developing story in weymouth in thursday. a woman badly injured and rescued from a roadside ravine. >> a wbz anna mile ler is live -- anna meiler is live. >> reporter: the big question this morning is how did this woman end up stranded down a deep emben of the highway. that is information we are still waiting to learn from police. take a look at this video showing a very large active scene along route 18 in weymouth near the exit for route 3 this all started around 9:00 last night. first responders used ropes to climb an estimated 30 to 40 feet down the ravine so they could carry this woman out. fire officials say she was in rough shape but we don't know what those injuries are or who her condition is at this time. also something worth pointing

to a tree where investigators spent a lot of their time. there are still many questions surrounding this rescue, this is an ongoing investigation and we will bring you any new information as we learn it. reporting live in weymouth, anna meiler, wbz this morning. >> okay. anna wheel check in. the young man rescued at sea 100 miles off the massachusetts coast says he did not harm his mother or kill his grandfather. 22-year-old nathan carman says suspicions about his account of what happenedn increasing his grief over the apparent drowning of his mother, police searched his home in connection with the case. court documents also reveal he was a suspect in the 2013 murder of his grandfather in connecticut. nathan's father says his son is not capable of hurting anyone. >> there's a -- they're the two closest people to my son in the world. and let me just say this, there's no way he would ever injure either one of them.

grandfather's murder but prosecutors said there's not enough information to sign it. a 2-year-old from new hampshire is in the hospital this morning after police say she was run over by her 7-year-old sister. nicole jacobs is live outside boston children's hospital where that little girl is being treated. nicole. >> reporter: kate, that little girl is expected to be okay, but many question why her older sister was handed the car keys in the first place. this is where it happened. >> i on the line. >> yes. >> reporter: a 911 call from south policy street. >> the call states her 7-year-old daughter, i believe, ran over her 2-year-old daughter with a vehicle. >>reporter: with this green ford focus, according to salem new hampshire authorities, the child was allowed to go outside and start the car on her own, something they believe she's done before with the 2-year-old unknowingly following behind. the 7-year-old somehow put the car in reverse.
