powerful politician says he will not defend donald trump in the race for president. speaker paul ryan told the house gop he will focus on making sure clinton does not get a blank check. in a recording made public trump could be heard making lewd comments about women. senator elizabeth warren on the cape to help harvest cranberries , while she was there the the gop nominee. >> what he described was taking advantage of women sexually. in ways that are appalling and bragging he could do it because after all he is a star. >> she said trump is now the leader of the gop and republican should make it clear where they stand regarding the nominee. >> john keller joins us now,

a home and ten vehicles all on fire in kingsboro all saturday morning. and right now, the official cause is unknown. >> they responded to calls on several roads. they're asking with anyone with -- they're asking anyone with information to please give them a call. and flames were shooting from the canal view apartments

this big fire even harder to put out. >> and wind also to blame for toppling a tree on top of a home in wareham. a 100-year-old maple toppled down on a roof. the family's cars were hit as well. the homeowners were inside. they were not hurt. but they told us later that they are lucky to be alive with the way the tree came right through the roof. >> we see that beautiful blue sky out there today. but we haven't had gotten enough rain. >> we should turn it over to barry. hey, barry! >> it was drought denting. we'll put it that way. we need more. but a lot did fall in some locations. as much as 3 inches or so. especially just south of boston. some of the southshore communities. looking at the weather network camera, looking at fenway park. the action has begun there. it's 55. and we'll see what happens with this game.

55 and the temperature dropping a little bit there during the evening. and the wind will be dropping off as well. right around 55 or 65 now. tomorrow afternoon, if they have that game, it'll be around 60 degrees with sunshine and light wind. today's high if boston, 59 at 3:10 this afternoon. that's 4 degrees below the average high. back in 1939, it was 87. just five years ago, we had temperatures in the 80s. three days in a row, we were in the 80s. but we're we have a chilly night coming up. the wind gusty at times during the day, it drops off. that will allow radiational cooling. 30s in the suburbs. 34 downtown boston for the low tonight. and you can see 30s in outlying spots. some of the valley areas having frost. the national weather service has a frost up, including cape cod and the south coast. even freezing temperatures into central massachusetts. how about the bus stop tomorrow

by recess and ride home, lower 60s away from the ocean tomorrow. but at the coast, it'll be a little bit of a sea breeze. not much wind anywhere tomorrow. just enough to bring a drift of air in from the ocean to keep it cool. 70s in the middle part of the ocean. we won't get that warm this weekend, fortunately. but it'll bump up later this week. we'll be watching the cold. but it'll mostly a threat for bermuda. going by that island wednesday night and thursday morning. safely out doesn't threaten the east coast of the united states whatsoever. so that high pressure will give us the chilly weather and fine weather for the next couple of days. those highs will move to the east. tomorrow, east of there. this brings a little cloudiness in here on wednesday. just a little bit of high, thin cloudiness. and then another front. goes to 68. just another fine weekend coming up. no rain pretty much in the forecast this week. that's it!
