it is a little nerve-racking. >> reporter: people living in the south end are put on edge while police search for the man who broke into an apartment and assaulted the women. >> i think everyone abuse the neighborhood as safe it is scary. >> having someone break into some at his house is not somethi often and it is unusual. >> reporter: a man crawled through the back window of an apartment around 4:00 on tuesday morning, and prosecutors say that he tied up the women inside and raped one of them. he took off down clarendon street at investigators could be seen going in and out of the home collecting evidence and taking pictures of the crime scene. >> i have live down here for three years and this is the first time i've seen that spirit it is unnerving. >> reporter: 24 hours after the assault police arrested ronald brown in the south end. he had his day in court, arraigned on charges of rape, kidnapping, home invasion of assaulted her neighbors say that they are relieved. >> i am glad because of the neighborhood does not have to

deadly crash was not an accident. the fbi is now investigating if the airplane was intentionally crashed on a busy east hartford connecticut street. >> terrorism is a criminal act and there are a lot of criminal investigators on the scene. nothing has been ruled out determine it burst into flames on tuesday afternoon after striking a utility pole. it happened near the headquarters of pratt and whitney, and it manufactures military jet engines. two people, a flight instructor, and a student pilot were on board. one of them survived. police are not saying which one. >> investigators with the faa, and fbi -- they have met with the survivor who is able to provide details about the circumstances. i do not have those at this time. >> reporter: and they are not saying which one was in control of the airplane when it crashed. this as cbs news has learned that the student pilot's name
