local police remain on scene here. neighbors tell us that the husband of that woman grew up on this street and this family never caused anyone any trouble. >> the initial call was a distraught female. >> s.w.a.t. teams arrive on scene and gunshots ring out from a home in candia. >> police say a mother year-old daughter inside. police identified the mother. two shots were fired, no one was hit. and the suspect let her daughter go after an hour. >> she was able to run from the residence. >> police continued to talk to the mother. and in the third hour of the negotiations, she surrendered. >> they were able to talk to

the premises. >> she faces several charges. she was taken to the hospital for a mental evaluation, and her motive is still unclear. >> this investigation is being -- by the police department. >> and she's expected to be arraigned tomorrow. >> tonight a top already downtown crossing restaurant is shut down because at least one customer reported getting after eating at the sweet greens restaurant. sweet green voluntarily closed after they found violations. it was lights out at the burlington mall. an underground equipment failure shut off power to the building. a second ago it was cool for most of the day. and got more bizarre when the

movie. king tide! it's going to be happening next month again. it's called [ indiscernible ] and the moon makes the closest approach to earth closer than january 26, 1948. that's almost 69 years ago. and because they are all lined up, the earth, moon, and sun, the gravitational effects are enhanced. and that enhanced the tide of the flooding. fortunately, we had no storms with this phenomenon so we didn't didn't have to deal with massive flooding. we have another high tide that's over 12 feet. but it won't be quite as bad but still unusual to have high tides over 12 feet in boston. and we'll have it november 14th through the 17th. look at the temperatures for

i'm sorry we didn't get the warmth in boston. i thought we had a shot. 83 in philadelphia, 83 in springfield. 81 down in attleborough. and tomorrow many areas will get to 78 to 80. the air mass will change and all the humidity will be pushed out to sea. the high today in boston, only 64. if we made the record, we missed by a long shot. look how much warmer it was to the south. fog and drizzle and poor visibility in many areas northeast of massachusetts and northern new england. and it's clear to the south. and temperatures rose into the lower 80s in some locations. areas of fog continuing and tomorrow for the bus stop when you head out it's going to be

and 74 at recess. and we start out with all the clouds. and then we give way to sunshine in the afternoon. and the brightness and the drier air will lead to a drier afternoon. there the high, 78, almost 80 in spots. here comes the next front coming down with a few showers and they'll probably weaken and disappear. and then we get into sunshine. here's the 7-day accuweather forecast. looking for 80 tomorrow. and 62 on thursday as the clouds are over quickly in the morning. and showers during the day. and maybe downpours, especially late friday. take a look at the weekend. it's only going to be in the 50s. the sun will be out brightly on sunday. and cold and windy. and look at next week. 46 on tuesday. those are the highs.
