investigation again. it's unclear if charges will be filed or exactly what contributing factors led to this crash. we're live, nicole, wbz this morning. >> a man working on his car shot in dorcester. the man was hit when a gunman fired 15 rounds. the man was rushed to boston medical center. no word on any arrests. > pulled to safety by a coast guard helicopter. live this morning with more details. ana. >> brianna, a very happy outcome for that man and his family when he was rescued after several hours stranded in the ocean here off of crane beach. 58-year-old, randall and his son-in-law, alexander, went swimming together around 5:30 tuesday evening. the coast guard says they were

be strong swimmers, but they became separated by dense fog. around 7:00, the swimmers hadn't returned home, their family grew anxious and came down to the beach where they saw the bicycles and called 911. the coast guard launched a massive search with a helicopter and airplane and a rescue boat. a short time later, the 28-year- old managed to swim to shore and walk to the command post. it wasn't until two hours later, that the helicopter sp treading water. he was hoisted by that helicopter and flown back to the command post where he was reunited with his family. he was then brought to the hospital where he was said to be in stable condition. reporting live, wbz this morning. >> a man exposing himself to elementary school students in andover. police are hoping security camera footage will help them track that man down. the man exposed himself twice

scene. and it was that, for several hours after authorities tried to determine the identity of that teenager and exactly how the crash happened. we know an 18-year-old was behind the wheel of a gray suv. police say he did stop at the scene and was cooperative. at this point, authorities have not released that young victim's identity. they also haven't said whether or not charges will be filed for that 18-year-old driver. we do know it is investigation, led by the district attorney's office. that's the very latest from brockton, nicole jacobs, wjz this morning. a happy ending to a nerve racking night. coast guard officials say a 58- year-old man and his son-in-law went out for a swim in the ocean around 5:30 tuesday evening. they are said to be familiar with the area and good swimmers, but separated by strong rip currents and dense fog. the 28-year-old was able to swim to shore, but it wasn't

his accusers or remember if he's met them. a wild fire raging in california this morning. the flames broke out last night in the hills near porter ranch. officials say 15-acres have already burned and the flames are inching closer to a natural gas storage facility. crews are having a difficult time getting to the fire and are relying on helicopters to fight it right now. they say the flames seem to be moving downhill towards homes, but so far, no one is being tested positive for zika. an active zika infection zone, even as other parts of miami have been cleared. more than 1,000 cases of zika have now been confirmed. 163 of those are believed to be not travel related. the army is teaming up to study stress and how it affects the way you think. the new science center opened
