breaking news right now the family of a teacher murdered by student inside danvers high school is now suing the town and school districts. colleen richards family want answers.>> thanks for us. the suit looks to discover why colleen richard was left alone to be murdered by a student. wbz christina hager has more. >> the lawsuit from the family specifically mentions a new security system that was installed shortly before the murder. she was finishing up her day at the high school when she was attacked by philip chisholm. he followed her into a bathroom where he murdered her then dragged to body into the woods

new so-called state-of-the-art system at the school no one was monitoring the activity on the computer located in the front of the office. despite the fact that the video depicts chisholm roaming the school grounds freely unsupervised and clearly behaving suspiciously for well over one hour, no one stopped him. the family also notes that the time of the incident does not appear that there were any school perso wing where the attack occurred colleen was there by herself without anyone available to assist. chisholm who was 14 at the time of the murder is currently serving 14 years to life for the rape and murder of colleen richard. no immediate action from the town of danger or the school system. now to a developing story a 14-year-old killed

police say he was hit by a car driven by another team. wbz nicole jacobs spoke with the boys father.>> reporter: we're told that the teenager was either going to or coming from the home of one of his friends where he sometimes did homework but now you see here a memorial continues to grow where the crash happened. hours after it all happened, he never returned home. his father received devastating news.>> 14-year-old madio o basketball. >> he was a good son. a lot of friends. he liked to school. >> reporter: but now he speaks of the tragedy that this is our with sadness.>> we wait for him. >> the high school freshman was riding his bike tuesday evening north on main street when he was hit and killed by

he opened more than a dozen credit cards in the names of five different women and made charges of more than $375,000 on food, vacation, closing jewelry. prosecutors say he did this by asking the victims their personal identification information promising to make the woman a user on his credit card so he could care for her financially. prosecutors say he did the opposite using their information to open credit cards in their names part in a number of financial schemes victimizing 12 people in all including two people in the u.s. army. is accused of stealing $12,500 from a military member who expected him to invest the money. >> the defendant claimed that he would mask death match this investment with his own funds. the victim later confirmed that neither the defendants assertions were true.
