>> thankfully, it wasn't worse. the fbi now taking a closer look at a new batch of hillary clinton e-mails. >> the fbi direct told congress he is now reviewing the e-mail messages for classified information. the investigators found them looking into anthony weiner's latest sexting scandal. >> reporter: wiener is under investigation for allegedly sexting with a 15-year-old girl. and his estranged wife of hillary clinton's top advisers, and the fbi seized the couple's electronic devices. on them they have recovered e- mails that they have decided to review. director comey says some of the e-mails appear to be pertinent into the investigation into the private e-mail server. the e-mails are being reviewed

[yelling] >> reporter: he had obama care, immigration, and other themes to talk about. but he even admitted -- >> the rest of my speech is going to be so boring. >> reporter: trump has raised the e-mail controversy over and over again in the election, trying to make the case that clinton believes she is above the law and critical of the fbi. >> i have great respect for the fact that the fbi and the department of justice are now right the horrible mistakes that they made. >> reporter: and he put this investigation on a historical scale. >> this is bigger than watergate. >> people want an honest candidate. and he is honest and she is not. >> reporter: trump supporters hope this will be a political game changer for the campaign. it's the 5th visit in six weeks to new hampshire.

hacked, someone accessed aaron hernandez's jailhouse phone calls. two years ago. hackers-- only targeting hernandez. the hack will not affect the former patriot's appeal or the trial. but they wonder why the sheriff's office didn't tell lawyers about the breach. >> you would think that the sheriff's office would handle a case like this with kid gloves. and if they found outing is he would let the district attorney kn there was nothing in the data breach to prompt them to tell the district attorney. our legal expert says since both parties know that jailhouse calls are recorded, it's doubtful that they contained anything incriminating. the weather is not going to ruin our weekend. and here's eric with a look ahead. >> look at the gusts, 43 miles

and the winds out of the northwest as a nor'easter is working towards the gulf of maine. and it's going to swing back southward. we have a few more showers and mist. and all told, just a pretty ugly friday night. no other way to put it. wind advisories out from the seacoast and the north shore with gusts possible up to 50 miles per hour out of the northwest. same for cape cod and the islands until 11:00 tonight and after that clearing and the will fall back mainly to the upper 30s across the area. as we look to the west, we see a lot of the yellow, orange, and red shading. that's warmer air, and the warmer air is a staple of the forecast. and we'll get a little bit of that this weekend. and we'll take a look at the timing coming up in a few. a police officer's wife accused of lying to investigators. >> why detectives say she filed a fake report about someone

showers are going to move in across the region. the best chance looks to be late on sunday after sunset. the strongest winds in the next few hours across the coast as well as cape cod. and cape cod will hold onto the gusts until midnight. tomorrow morning, the winds are starting to relax, and gusts 10 to 20. and then we get a break before they switch to the southwest. and it becomes breezy tomorrow afternoon, especially to the south coast, cape cod and islands. as for tonight's temps, chilly in the 30s. and right near 40 along the coastline. tomorrow we're looking at mid- to upper 50s with less wind and more sunshine and a lot better than what we had today. partly sunny saturday and most towns should be dry and the wind will start to pick up during the afternoon and evening. saturday night a passing shower. and overnight lows close to 50

days. and the halloween forecast for trick or treaters will be a little bit chilly. temperatures in the 40s for the evening forecast. and so eric, for the trick or treaters, the kids will probably need an extra layer. and of course, we're in salem. i tried not to scream too much. >> and pamela hosted halloween party last weekend. very into the holiday and we'll talk to pamela in a few minutes. after the chilly and bright halloween forecast, a lot of warm air is moving our way. and we might see 70-degree readings in the area. at least the 60s. after that really nice halloween night we're looking at temps through the 60s. and if a front waits to the afternoon on thursday, that might be the chance to hit 70.
