defendant was trying to co- terse victim. >> reporter: he drove his minivan to the high school parking lot and then texted her to come out. that he had brought her lunch. when she met him. she was raped. he says he met the girl at a family party. and they were simply friends. but the victim says the text messages became explicit. >> the conversation then asking if they can make love the next time he comes to visit. >> reporter: the defense attorney says there was never a rape. >> he states that he has text messages from the alleged victim that will prove his innocence. >> reporter: the students at brockton high were notified about the incident. and many were stunned. >> you can't really trust people nowadays. you have to be careful who you

involved in a multicar crash in the back bay. >> four firefighters and another person were hurt. ten cars were badly damaged. let's get to nick giovanni live at the scene tonight. >> and one witness told me it sounded like a bomb went off, just the initial collision, the sheer force of the collision. you can see what happened next. a domino effect up and down this >> it's emotional. you thank god that nobody is in it. >> reporter: she counted her blessings monday. stunned over the sight of her car. parked in the wrong place at the wrong time. >> incredible. but it happened and to see it all and the fire engine and everything, it's wow, pretty intense. >> reporter: her car was one of nine caught up in a collision
