off guard. the new england patriots suddenly trading jamie collins to the cleveland browns in exchange for a draft pick. so many people are shocked by this. >> jamie collins is a freak of an athlete. and the things he can do are flat out scary. but at the end of the year, he wants to get paid a lot of money. he's often not where he he shoots the gap and the run is to the outside and the bills gain 28 yards on the play. according to mike lombardi. those plays have been happening all year long which is why he was traded to cleveland for a compensatory third round pick. >> it takes two teams to make a deal. i think people in the league

>> that sounds excellent. police have released new video of a man running away from the trolley operator they say he attacked. this happened in dorchester. the man was wearing a halloween mask and punched the operator in the head and dragged him off the trolley onto the cedar grove platform station. the man didn't have money for the fare and the operator refusing to let him board. boston police were forced to shoot and kill a man. the victim's mother says her son suffers from schizophrenia and paranoia. when she called 911, she was looking for some help for him. >> i'm a mother trying to help my son and this is what i get? a dead son.

31-year-old son should have never happened. the 31-year-old was shot early sunday morning by boston police after they said he attacked officers with a knife. but she says he was not armed and not acting violently. >> no, no, no. >> he has a history of suffering from schizophrenia and paranoia. she was concerned for his health after standing outside in the cold for hours. police say he and struggled with emts. and police burst in and shot him. >> individuals who suffer from paranoia and schizophrenia, they don't know what they're up to. they can suddenly act out. and it's unfortunate what happened. >> my only regret would be that there was not a mental health professional that she felt she could call in. >> reporter: draft donna -- is

more emergency care needs to be provided for families dealing with mental health. and police need crisis intervention training. >> we have too do a better job of linking the response from the ambulances to those mental health officials so they can respond in dan item if necessary. >> reporter: the loss of her son is too hard to bear. >> i can't depend on because they killed him. a quincy school bus driver who crashed into a home has been cited. mark woods hit a fire hydrant, snapped a telephone poll. ran into a mailbox. and then a home. woods was cited for negligent operation. they were closed for weeks and the water off cape cod has been reopened to shellfish harvesting. the industry was brought to a

mom on double duty with the strollers, and glad to see that the weather is cooperating. just a little chilly. 43 in worcester. and we'll be dropping off quickly. look across the country. the current temperatures all those 80s across the plains and the southeast. and many of these are record highs. parts of texas, we're above 90 degrees. sweaty halloween is never good. take look at picture. mainly clear skies. it's a new moon so you'll see starlight. and in the city, 38 degrees. just bring a jacket with you tonight. here's a look hour-by-hour. by 9:00 many communities back in the 30s. and tomorrow morning, 20s to low 30s. a cold start to the day tomorrow. and bright skies and warming back up. by lunchtime. upper 40s to low 50s.

month of november. the system we're watching is for wednesday and thursday. and a little bit of a tricky setup. when we have warm fronts, it's never easy. they tend to hang up or cause issues. as we look to wednesday, the day that starts with cloud cover. and then we'll bring in more sunshine as the day goes on. where will the front stop? northern massachusetts or southern new hampshire. we cooler air in particular across new hampshire and heading up to maine. same idea thursday. the front is still nearby. and we have a chance of 70 degrees along and south of the pike. and once you head to northeastern massachusetts and new hampshire, you may end up on the colder side of this one. we're also tracking a chance for downpours and storms thursday afternoon. along with the mild temps and a gusty southwest winds.

tomorrow is the quiet one. wednesday becomes nice in the afternoon, especially favoring areas look the mass pike. that's where we have the warmest temperatures. thursday, the same thing. we bring in the chance for rainfall into the afternoon and the evening. anything will be wrapping up friday morning. and then a burst of colder air. friday night plans already blustery and chilly and give way to quiet and conditions. a slight chance of a shower especially on sunday. and after the chilly halloween and a quiet day tomorrow. looking at a couple of mild days before the colder air pours back in. it won't be a trend but we'll take the mild temps. poor jamie collins. >> talk about a valuable player who is not part of the patriots' history. >> shipped to cleveland?

on halloween, the patriots have traded jamie colorado lens to the browns for a third round pick. bill belichick explained why he made the deal. >> well in the end we did what we felt was best for the football team. there were a lot of things to take into conversation and we could bring up a lot of points to talk about but in the end that's the bottom line. and you could bring of things and they all probably play into the conversation at some point. the player, his situation, and the team and the team situation and what's best. >> hmmm. collins was a free agent at the end of the season and will get a big payday. it appears as if the decision was made. high tower may not have the athleticism but he's always at
