and breaking right now at 11, a little boy hit by a car trick or treating and the driver took off. she got out of her car and saw the 4 year-old lie inning the road and took off. >> police tell us she had kids of her own in the car. >>reporter: police say she was trick house to house with at least two kids in the back of her car. now she's being questioned by police and they say she will be cited. police lights flashed on marshall avenue in lowell monday night. strewn candy pieces of evidence and hours earlier it was streaming with trick or treaters. >> it was horriblely upsetting. i was like oh my god, good god.

more than 5 miles per hour and a 4 year-old boy dart right in her path. >> i saw the car go over the kid and saw the kid laying on the ground and then the car stopped and then the people started screaming and then somebody said call 911. >>reporter: the boy was brought to the hospital with a serious head laceration. short times later and a few miles away, our camera was rolling and the parked between two police cruisers. after hitting the boy, she briefly stopped before driving off. a witness followed her and a patrolman stopped her and placed in the back of a lowell police cruiser. now police say that little boy was brought to lowell general hospital and he may be transported to boston for treatment. live in lowell, wbz news. breaking news out of alabama. stunning pictures of an

pipeline in a rural part of the state but seven workers injured but don't yet know their conditions. homes in the area evacuated and the blast about a mile from where the same pipeline ruptured back in september. four injured firefighters out of the hospital now after an accident. the chain reaction crash this morning took out a number of cars that come on dartmouth and an uber driver saw the thing. >>reporter: after the official violent impact, that fire truck toppled a tree before plowing into several parked cars. tonight as you said, we now know all of the firefighters are out of the hospital. >> i heard a -- looked up and i saw fire truck. >>reporter: david burr wick who was driving for uber said he had a split second to react.

>> the victim's mother said hours passed before 911 was called and he was taken off life support this morning. his life is over and another teenage ear life is changed. >> 18 year-old joseph of tux berry facing serious charges in the violent death of 16 year- old ethan costello. it happened on friday night at an barn. >> the victim stumbled into the defendant by accident and the defendant picked him up and slammed his head onto the concrete floor and caused injury to him. the defendant bragged about what he had done to other people. >> court documents show it was hours before ethan costello was taken to the hospital. kids telling police no one wanted to help or call 911. when friends tried to bring the victim into the house, the

not too much winged. sunset at 5: 37. temps in the 50s for tomorrow. lower 50s across the higher terrain in wooster county and the region in new hampshire. days to watch wednesday and thursday, don't think it'll be an easy forecast because we have a warm front moving in and always a bit difficult to figure out how far north are they going to get. on wednesday morning, we'll start with clouds and see brightening skies as the day goes on. good chance most of us get into the 6 0s but new hampshire and northern massachusetts, might not ever get into that really mild air and mainly in 590s on wednesday. same idea for thursday, front nearby and very mild for parts of the region. especially from the mass pike south ward and a chance of 70 degrees but that colder air is gonna dominate most of the day in new hampshire and up toward main and far northern massachusetts and bring in rain showers on thursday afternoon. mid 50s tomorrow, morning clouds on wednesday and a much
