30 minutes or so. so plan on that. a couple of showers along 95 and back through the south shore. a quick sprinkle pressing off the coastline and pockets of light rain from the mass new hampshire border. so that batch continues to shift east. it's off the coastline within the next hour or so. 11 a.m., most of the rain is focused to our north. about 1, 2:00 another batch of rain comes in. notice who's mainly removed today the south shore. we may see a quick shower between 4 and 6 p.m. most of the showers will be tapering off for your ride home. 51 this morning on average, 60, 65 plus south of boston and cooler to the north.

and then there's some rain that extends from manchester east, kingston, from salem, a little bit of light rain for you as well. this is the first batch that's coming in from west to east. another batch of rain back to the west through new york and pennsylvania but notice the motion off to the east northeast. so along this track a lot of the steadier rain is going to pass to our north through vermont new hampshire and maine. us is we're not going to see a ton of rain today. let's take you through the hour by hour. mid to late morning most of the rain is pretty much down almost southern new hampshire there will be their still be some pockets. noontime areas of rain filling back in through worcester county, back along the route 2 corridor 2:00 raining again in boston metro west. do you notice who's removed for most of the day?

quickest ward progress. still some light rain traveling up 93 along the 128 interchange and back up towards lin as well. north of town all the back to the new hampshire sea coast some pockets of light rain that extend back along 107 as well. so, yeah, the wipers on in a few spots. most of us dry out through late between 12:30 and 1:30, it's focused north and west of boston. most of us are fine, then we dry back out with just a lingering shower through the evening commute. so they'll be tapering at that point. notice the temperatures, 60 south of boston, 50s to the north and after the left over showers come in we get partial clearing. much cooler tomorrow we'll talk about that and the weekend coming up. let's get you on the

on 128 in the southbound lanes at exit 20 at route 9, it's blocking the left lane and lots of back up from the split. also some slow-downs on 24, 95 and route 3. now, 93 south is stop and go. it's one hour right now. and we are now 4 days into what we thought would be busy weekday traffic on the mass pike and so far so good. mass dot says demolitn schedule at all toll plaza locations, paving is scheduled next. now, more than 5 million transactions have been processed and drivers should still remember the 15-mile an hour speed limit and pay attention to the different traffic patterns at each construction site and make sure you give yourself plenty of time. breaking overnight the chicago cubs have won the world series the first at this in 108 years.
