in march of 2015, norman lee was vacationing with his wife when local police said that they were separated and lee was presumed drowned. lee's answer wonders if the renewed push means there could be more to what happened. >> the fact that they have now put out this reward and the case is still open, it just makes me question what was reported. >> reporter: the fbi on are seeking information about the circumstances of his disappearance and/or his current whereabouts. chief del monte just wants to help bring him home. >> resolution and try and bring closure to the family if that's possible at all. >> reporter: the chief said that lee was an avid exercise are in top shape and how he could be swept up in the water so easily.

university researchers make a shocking discovery. more than a dozen football players diagnosed with als didn't have that disease at all. kevin turner was a former patriots's running back and died this march from what doctors thought was als. new research presented today paints a different picture. want to bring in dr. mallika marshall and this is a major finding. >> doctors thought originally that kevin turner was dying lou gehrig's disease but boston university researchers found that he was suffering from a severe form of cte, brain damage after repeated hits to the head like those sustained in football. turner was a lead plaintiff in a lawsuit over concussions against the nfl. the family said that the league still isn't doing enough. >> i am not mad.
