it's a mild start. the dew point is in the mid-40s. the wind is out of the northwest at ten miles per hour right now. it's going to be a little bit breezy today. it's a cooler start in the suburbs. we're about five to 15 degrees cooler. 40 in keene. an in the lower 50s out over the cape and islands. we do have a few scattered clouds but notice in eastern massachusetts we've had a clearing. so it does look like a mostly clear start and there will be plenty of sunshine tod at times. we'll call it partly cloudy. sunrise at 7:22. cool and breezy. 53 by lunchtime. but some of us are in the 50s right now. so we'll dip a couple of degrees over the next few hours and come back up into the low to mid-50s. a pretty seasonal day. clear and quiet for the ride home. one set at 5:tree. i think -- 5:33. i think you'll like the weekend.

on 93 north this morning. once you get over the zakim right lane is closed. now south of the city there's some construction happening in randolph, that is taking up the shoulder on knee north over exit 4. both of these sites to wrap up in about 30 minutes. we begin this friday with a developing story. a pedestrian was hit and killed on 128 south. it happened just before 10:30 last night bet 27. police have not released the victim's identity and they're trying to figure out why that person was on the highway. three lanes of traffic were closed as police investigated over night. the -- overnight. an armed robbery suspect caught with the help of a boston k9 unit. police say the suspect held up the bakery on beacon street last night. the suspect was found a short time later. the harvard university men's soccer team suspended for the

team. players are accused of raiding the women based on looks. >> their so-called scouting report was based on lewd comments. >> guys cross the guys a lot. i think this is one ofs incidents. the harvard men are ranked number one. they will not play the rest of the season or play in any championship. >> i think that, you know, severe measures had ton taken. it might hav excessive to completely call off the team. >> reporter: the school newspaper reported on a 2012 scouting report last week prompting the school to further investigate. harvard found the scotting report was not one year but continued into this season and involved more ploys than previously thought. harvard's president released a statement saying in part, the decision to cancel a season is serious and consequence shall and reflects harvard's view that both the behavior and failure to

questioned are completely unacceptable. >> i think -- it really kind of speaks to their commitment. >> reporter: the six women who are the subject of that 2012 scouting report wrote -- they say they stand by their words enter response to the latest news. in part, saying, we cannot change the past but we are asking you to help us now and in the future. the athletics department says it will take steps to educate the men's soccer team and all the hl at this behavior is totally unacceptable. at harvard university katie brace, be this morning. with four days to go until election day, today is the last day to vote early. all the secretary of commonwealth is asking polling stations to stay open until at least 5:00. some are closing early. check the hours before you head out. if you miss early voting and are not able to vote on election day you can apply for an absentee ballot until noon own monday.

for grabs. the candidates are taking notice. donald trump will campaign in atkinson at noon today. hillary clinton will be in manchester on sunday. a poll shows trump and clinton deadlocked in the granite state. 8% say they're still undecided. woe caught up with some of those undecided voters last night. >> if i'm being honest, i'm still undecided. i have to think about it a little bit more because i just -- i'm not really choices i've been given. >> i voted for ross per owe way back in the 90s. i think there was someone like him now but there's no good third choice. >> both sides hope to get the voters in their corner. hillary clinton will be in manchester on sunday and then on monday, president obama heads to durham and both trump and his running mate mike pence will be in manchester. nationally this race is getting tighter.

she was up nine points just two weeks ago. and yesterday trump supporters in north carolina and florida he warned a cloud of investigation would follow hillary clinton if she's elected. his wife gave her first speech on the campaign trail. >> we have to find a better way to talk to each other to disagree with each other, to respect each other. we must honor and support the basic goodness of our children, especially in social media. >> hillary clinton will campaign in pennsylvania and michigan today. last night she was in north carolina where she took the stage with bernie sanders and singer fer rel. president obama campaigned on clinton's behalf in florida. >> this isn't a joke. this isn't survivor.

few through the interior as well. we will be in for a good amount of sunshine today. we don't have to worry about the rain down to our south. high pressure is slowly going to be nosing its way in here. the week's cold front coming in today -- a weak cold front coming in for today. let's talk about the weekend. tomorrow morning we start with sunshine. a little piece of energy coming overhead tomorrow. all it means for us is some building clouds, perhaps a sprinkle saturday night. most of be dry. and sunday will feature a blend of sun and clouds as well. although it will be a little bit cool overall this weekend. not bad by november standards. so let's take you through the numbers. high temperatures today, middle to upper 50s. that's pretty normal for this i am too of year. 54 in boston. 58 in taunton. same in new bedford. mid-50s on the cape. the wind will be a little bit gusty. so that will add a little bit of chill to the air.

20s in the suburbs. 36 downtown boston. wind will subside overnight tonight. and then tomorrow, temperatures top 50 to 55. so a little cooler than today. with a mix of sun and clouds. wind will be from the southwest and west. it will be cooler on sunday. but once again, partly cloudy skies, upper 40s to low 50s for highs on sunday. then we get a warm-up for the start of next week. 52 on monday. there will be some clouds on the cape. still looks q really no rain in the seven day forecast. we had a little help with the drought monitor last week, but it looks like we will be back in the deficit for a week ago. >> danielle, construction continuing along the mass pike this morning. it's day five and we still haven't had any issues. so fingered cross -- fingers crossed. looking at the maps, you can see it's not causing any slowdowns. so we have great drive times

and more than $50,000 in fines. but it appears that punishment does not make those complaints stop. since the settlement, the ag has continued hearing from dozens of angry customers. many with similar experiences. a woman moving from boston said, the move was $2,685 more than the quote. they held my stuff in storage until i paid them. another customer said, the entire load is being held hostage. >> what i ended up paying them was a month's salary. >> reporter: living team his move was financially devastating. he says he felt threatened. >> it kind of felt like you were being robbed at gunpoint. >> reporter: father and son president refused to answer questions about the new complaint. >> ryan cas with wbz, we want to talk to you. >> reporter: so the i team went to his headquarters. >> why won't you guys talk to us? customers say you're holding their furniture hostage and demanding more cash. >> when you're talking about

police say the driver 52-year-old dexter mitchell of beverly was driving under the influence and then left the scene. >> he left, you know, he struck two little girls and their mother with a car and left and ditched evidence of what he did and showed up on the scene to stand in the back and watch on foot. and that's probably the worst thing for me. >> mitchell was released on $2,500 bail. one of the twins had extensive she had surgery yesterday. hopefully will be out of the hospital next week. her mom and sister suffered only minor injuries. the mother of a umass student died has filed a lawsuit against the university. francesca of new jersey says umass knew her son was on drugs but didn't tell her. instead she says police used her son as a confidential informant. she is suing a police officer and the man selling her southern the drugs. a northeastern student is

didn't do enough to protect her after a sexual assault. she says in 2013 she was drinking at a party at an ra's apartment. a male student offered to bring her home but she says instead he brought her to his room and raped her. two days later, she reported the case to school officials. the northeastern conduct board found the male student didn't violate the school's conduct code and rejected her demands to move the man out of her dorm. >> the expectation is wh the next day and, you know, maybe wake up with a groggy head, you don't expect to be sexually assaulted. if that does happen, you know, the school will take care of it. >> she says she still sees her alleged attacker on campus. she decided to stay at school to work on issues of violence. they issued a statement saying they have not seen the student. a weymouth's family speaking
