it's around 25 minuting to from methuen near the o'neill tunnel. 128 is clear top to bottom too. we begin with a developing story this friday in waltham. a pedestrian hit and killed on 128 south. police say the vick -- victim was hit by several vehicles. they're trying to figure out why that person was walking on the highway. three lanes of traffic were closed as police investigated overnight. the road is back open this morning. an armed robbery suspect unit. police say he held up the bakery. no one was injured. the suspect was found a short time later and is due in court this morning. men's soccer team at harvard is benched. the university suspending all players over sexual comments about the members on the women's team. >> anna meiler is live in cambridge this morning with more. anna. >> reporter: and chris harvard university officials say there is zero tolerance for that kind of behavior so they're canceling

number one team in the ivy league. the harvard men's soccer team will be sitting out the rest of the season for their so-called scouting report using sex wally explicit language to rate incoming freshman on the women's team. >> guys cross the line a lot. i think this is one. those instances. >> reporter: last week the school newspaper published an article on the 2012 scouting report prompting the university to further investigate. officials found that behavior was not isolated to 2012, but rather connu current season and involved more players than previously thought. in a statement, the university's president says the decision to cancel a season is serious and consequential and reflects harvard's view that both the team's behavior and the failure to be forthcoming when initially questioned are completely unacceptable. >> i think harvard is taking the right action in terms of like disciplining them. i think need to set an example. >> i asevere measure had to be

her home but she says instead he brought her to his room and raped her. two days later, she reported the case to school officials. the northeastern conduct board found the male student didn't violate the conduct code and gentlemen he canned the question to move him out of the dorm. >> the expectation is when you get drunk you'll get hung over the next day and maybe wake up with a groggy head. you don't expect to be sexual assaulted. if that does happen, youw, the school will take care of it. >> we got into a fight last night. >> she decided to stay at the school to work on issues of campus violation. northeastern has said they have not seen a laugh but the safety of the students is top priority. the mother of a student who died of a drug overdose has filed a lawsuit against the school. she says umass police knew her son was on drugs but didn't tell

son as an informant. she is suing a police officer and man charged with selling her son the drugs that killed him. well money is pouring into massachusetts surrounding four questions on the massachusetts ballot tuesday. most of it though is coming from out of state. $52 million raised by groups on both sides, more than $37 million has come from organizations or people based outside of the state. one of those ballot questions deals with legalizing re fierce oppose of question four is massachusetts attorney general. she believes the marijuana industry will resist her on the potency of its product. school kids across massachusetts have something to celebrate today. governor baker is declared it recess day. baker says kids need time outdoors for free play because it helps develop important life skills. can we get employee recess? >> i miss recess so much. it's the best. >> go out, run around for a

police say the victim was hit by several victims. they're trying to figure out why that person was walking on the highway. three lanes of traffic were closed as police investigated overnight. but that road is back open right now. leaders in dudley say they were surprised to hear talks about a proposed mum limb cemetery in town had broken down. last week they said ten months of talks broke down and they were going to take the case to court. town leaders responded yesterday saying the two an agreement on all material issues and we're expecting to announce a resolution. town officials say they're willing to continue negotiations rather than take the matter to court. the mbta is launching a campaign to fight sexual harassment. jon keller looks how harassment has become ingrained. >> reporter: good morning. if you are a decent human being, you don't approve of sexual

sexual overtures, they're all different forms of conduct that violate basic human rights and convey profound disregard for social norms an disrespect for others. to me, all that seems like a huge no-brainer. but it seems like not everyone feels the same way. as we've been reminded ad nauseam during this campaign, former president bill clinton has been a chronic sexual harasser, something too many people willing to ignore when he was president. and if the about donald trump's serial harassments are to be believed, down-playing and enabling sexual transgressions remains a bipartisan activity. so i was appalled but not surprised to see our coverage yesterday of a new mbta campaign to crack down on sexual harassment by t customers of other customers. in particular, disabled riders. are you kidding me?

here. winter starts 47 days and 51 days until christmas day. cool start this morning. 48 in boston. we are in the upper 30s in taunton. 50 in chatham right now. mid-40s from wooster back up to manchester. 42 in concord. clear skies in eastern massachusetts. we've had some clouds on the mid and outer cape. from wooster county and points west. the overall trend will be to bring out more and more sunshine today. there's rain to our south. that will stay to the south. to nick the cape and islands. high pressure building in this weekend and a couple of disturbances coming out of eastern canada. gusting northwest breeze at times, over 20 miles per hour. we'll add a little bit of chill to the air. tomorrow we start with sunshine. the clouds build in. there may be a sprinkle tomorrow. it's going to be isolated. not going to be a big deal. don'ting -- don't be caught off-guard. sunday, a blend of sun and building clouds again.

and sunshine at times this weekend. a cooler feel on sunday. highs today in the 50s. mid-50s in boston. that should say 54 in boston. upper 40s from jaffrey to keene. and plenty of sunshine mid to upper 50ed from plymouth to taunton. tonight, we will dip back into the 30s and even some 20s on the map. the typically cooler spots like bedford, norwood, in the upper 20s with clear skies and a diminishing wind. tomorrow sun and then building clouds, 53 degrees, the wind pretty light out of the west and southwest at five to ten miles per hour. saturday night, mainly cloudy. there may be an isolated sprinkle. we drop back down to around 40 degrees. sunday will be a cooler day overall. but once again, enjoying sun and clouds, right around 50 degrees. the difference on sunday is the wind is going to kick up a bit. it will be from the north about ten to 20-mile-per-hour. then we start a warming trend. sunshine, 60 on tuesday and then

thursday. pretty dry seven day forecast as well. traffic and weather together. >> we have something unusual here. you've got to watch out for some debris on the road on 93 north. several cars have hit some debris. at least one car is disabled from it. that car is blocking the shoulder before exit 40 at route 62 and the debris, whatever it is, is blocking the right two lanes. so we don't know exactly what this is. but whatever may have spilled into the road is causing some problems. so make sure you use caution in that area on 93 south, you will hit some slow as you make your way into the city. developing news out of waltham this morning. state police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit and killed on 128. the victim was hit by several vehicles last night at 10:30. investigators trying to figure out why that person was on the highway. three lanes of traffic were closed as police investigated overnight. but the road is back open this morning. >> just about 5:45. 5:49 right now. the final push to sway voters ahead of election day.

the person hadn't been identified but the car matches the description. twin sisters continue to recover after being hit by a car during halloween celebrations in salem. now their father is speaking exclusively to wbz. he says his twin 10-year-old girls and their mother were in a crosswalk when a car hit them on sunday night. the sisters suffered the worst. the driver 52-year-old mitchell was driving under the influence. >> he left. you know, he struck two little girls and their mother with a car and then left and then ditched evidence of what did, and then showed up on the scene to stand in the back and watch on foot. and that's probably the worst thing for me. >> prosecutors asked for $10,000 bail but mitchell was released on 2500. one of the twins had extensive injuries. she had surgery yesterday and will hopefully be out of the hospital next week.
