the rainfall which we would like to see. as you look across the country, easy to see a big ridge of high pressure. look at that flow into canada and hudson bay and down to the east coast and that's why so much of the country has been seeing so much warm weather. as for tonight's temps, we're looking at low 30s, 38 in downtown boston and 40 in hyannis. 40 for tomorrow, and bright blue skies, and the winds wi move to the west and southwest towards the evening, and it will be breezy, brisk but typical for november, and the sunset tomorrow at 4:26 in the afternoon. highs, near 52 in boston and rockport, 51 and just to 50 in worcester and veteran's day on friday and this is a more significant front that will move through. it doesn't have a lot of moisture to work with which means we might get a light

but the winds will pick up on friday, and that will bring in much colder air. gusts up to 40 miles per hour and that core of the chilly air is saturday to start the weekend and is gone by sunday. it's a very short visit. the colder air will be in place. some of the mountains in northern new england, 30s and we'll be in the 40s, chilly but not unusual. and then 50s will move back in the area. the big story is the wind in the afternoon and gusting to 40 miles per hour out of the northwest at times and chillier on friday night. looking at the breakdown, midday, the front is picking up, and the evening, much colder. a chilly and brisk saturday.
