a baby dead, two adults. what went wrong inside this marlboro home. >> i very much look forward to dealing with the president in the future. including counsel. >> reporter: face to face for the first time. they say it was polite but our expert says their body language tells a different tale. >> reporter: see two bald eagles and workers padding their paychecks with an unusual perk. swimming in cash. now at 11:00, a disturbing crime scene in marlboro where police are investigating the death of an infant. two adults a man and woman were found at that same home unconscious.

hospital. nick giovani live outside the hospital tonight. >> reporter: the question investigators are still trying to answer is what happened in this home behind us just after noon that ended up killing that infant. investigators from the district attorney's office walked down harrison place. eight hours the first responders home. >> can't make anything out. involving a child i believe. >> i saw three ambulance, four cruisers. >> reporter: crews arrived to find an infant dead along with two adults unconscious. both were rushed to the hospital while their home was sealed off by police tape.

neighbors including benitez who says she went to school with the 19-year-old female. >> nothing happens in this neighborhood. everybody goes to work, comes home, same routine every day. >> reporter: still no word on what caused that baby's death but the das office is investigating. just as they do all cases involving child's death. nick giovani. tonight the mbta is investigating whether a bus driver on the job was under the influence of drugs. passengers called police afterthat bus clipped a parked car in melbourne tonight. the driver is then accused of leaving the scene of the accident. there were no injuries, the t has removed the driver from his rule. the couple that has accused their nanny of killing their little girl has now been awarded $2 million. prosecutors dropped murder charges against her. mccarthy was deported to

the woman who voted for clinton was out with her baby girl. this is the first photo of clinton since she conceded the race wednesday morning. now at 11:00, he said he was a federal agent and this is what he had in his backpack. he had a gun, rope, a knife as well as police say he was a fake. that he was trying to talk his way into a coworkers home. >> reporter: and david, the police report reveals some fake fbi agent. but arlington police didn't have to look very far to catch him. they found him sitting at this bench at a bus stop just feet from a house that he tried to get into. all of this in a bag belonging to a man claiming he was an fbi agent. >> he was a little off footing. >> he knocked on their door and they didn't know who he was and

officer. and and he said, can i use your bathroom. and they thought that was kind of suspicious. >> reporter: police say wednesday evening the man showed the couple an fbi wanted poster. it was his request to use the bathroom that peaked their concern. they called police. >> it doesn't sound like they were randomly chosen. >> reporter: they both work at lincoln lab. la blanc who is 23 years old department. officers found him feet away at a bus stop. he was wearing all black and had taken off his fbi ball cap. >> this had the potential of being a violent episode. >> reporter: in court, la bla nc defense attorney insists the materials that la blanc were all camping materials. police are unclear of la

they found a list of people that work at the lab or went to school at mit. >> reporter: la blanc faces several charges including impersonating a law officer and unlawful carrying of a firearm. they went missing tuesday after leaving sandwich. the coast guard se 4,000 nautical miles before calling off the search. boston police are looking for two men who carjacked a ups driver. that driver says two masked men with guns pulled him from his truck in dorchester. the driver told us he was okay. though he did not want to speak on camera. the men ditched his truck a few moments later. we don't know if any packages were stolen. we want to give you a live look. a blast of cold air about to move in.

c1 new tonight, i team investigation undercover video. state workers wracking up overtime at public pools in the middle of the workday. >> and their bosses know about it and they don't think it's a problem. >> the i team ryan catt asked about the questionable use of resources. >> reporter: pools are closed for the season but some environmental police officers are still swimming in cash they you're looking at a lieutenant working a paid detail at a swimming pool. >> it's a waste of money for the taxpayers. >> reporter: but it happens all the time according to payroll records the it reviewed. over a two month period in july and august, that lieutenant worked 34 shifts at dcr pools.

>> reporter: greg sullivan is a former inspector general who studies public policy at the pioneer institute. he calls the system a sweetheart deal for environmental police to pad their paycheck. last year the officer more than doubled his $74,000 salary bringing home 161 grand. >> i really question whether that is an efficient use of the police department. to have a police officer being paid and a half sitting in a car in >> reporter: the i team did occasionally see officers go inside the pools to interact with staff and swimmers, but most of the time, just sitting inside the trucks. and on a rainy day in august we even saw a police stationed outside three different locations, inside the pool not a person in sight. former boston police commissioner ed davis says most officers in the state are only allowed to work paid details

off. >> this particular case where officers are leaving their decal and coming back, that's not a good use of resource. >> reporter: the officers used vacation and sick time to reach that daily total. take this example on july 28. an officer punched in from 5:00 to 9:00 a.m. collected four hours of overtime at the pool, punched back in from 1:00 to 3:00, spent anr pool and was back on the clock for 30 minutes before finishing the shift with two hours of personal time. a spokesman said they would not do an interview about this. so we caught up to the leader of the environmental police as he left work. >> what's your message to taxpayers about why it's necessary for an environmental police officer to be sitting outside of a dcr pool? >> once again, the situation all depends what they're doing at the pool. they could be doing work inside

have to stand by the pool. >> some taxpayers might ask. why is that a good use of their resources. >> i would have to see the paper work you have. >> do you have any concerns about this system and whether it's the best use of resources or not. >> it's a system that's worked for years. >> you're standing by this system. you think the system is working? >> unless i can be shown documentation right now, it's just wild allegations. >> colonel mcginn says split so the dnr checked with maine and new hampshire they say they do not allow split shift just so officers can work a overtime shift. and there's hundreds of recalls.
