yesterday even though it maybe didn't feel like it by noontime because the winds started howling. look at yesterday's high it was 60 in boston. that's pretty nice about 7 above the average for this date. today it's going to be blow average because we're not going to get anywhere close to 60. just hardly get up to 50, mostly in the upper 40s for high temperatures today. looking at the 24-hour temperature change from this time yesterday morning to this morning running 10 t 25 degrees lower than it was. and the wind continues to below but it has simmered down from what it was doing early last night and much of yesterday. the winds making it feel like the 20s right now. not all that strong but we've got temperatures mostly in the 30s a couple of pockets where the wind has dropped off to calm to allow a little bit of cooling, 40s and 30s all the way up into canada

almost a heat wave after the 5 degrees they had at this time last weekend. highs today in the upper 40s and a breeze which will be blowing much of the day and once in a while the wind gusts to 25 or so. across the 50s across the north, 60s central states 70 gulf coast and down in florida will be nicer than that around 80 or so. high pressure is really in control sprawled out west to east across the nation controlling things and also helping to pull down some cold air at least for a now. last weekend we thought the cold air would last all weekend and forecasted we could add snow showers today but the cold air came down everything is on the move the jet stream is changing and not going to allow the cold air to lock in. instead the mild air is going to start to move in this afternoon so a much better afternoon even though some wind out there and quite a bit of sunshine later this afternoon. i think some of the streamers of higher clouds

part? >> well, first i want to say that i'm really proud of the work that we have done in mobilizing the new americans, they voted in large numbers, they went through the process of naturalization, and i'm very proud of them being part of the democratic process and making their voices heard, and voting. and we, you know, did mobilization in massachusetts and new hampshire. shocking to a certain degree. it's, you know, it's a remarkable victory, you know. a businessman with no organization having this kind of moment it is remarkable. >> what does that say about america? >> i think it's a cry , it is -- it's frustration with things not happening in washington and

it's a cry for attention people who never had that attention. and you know, it was a very divisive. >> yeah. >> election. and we're glad it's over. it'sa lost opportunity having first woman president the world has done it. we were hoping to see the first woman president winning, but you know, this is -- america spoke and this is the will of the people. >> america has spoken. >> and you know, america has spoken loudly, and -- >> yes. >> -- as i said, it is -- it is a cry of people who did not have attention and need attention. >> yes. okay. let's talk about the late that's very important. you did get the work done latinos did go out and vote but what really made trump

he'll see that in essence an articulate his policies in a way to work with both parties, and come up with an immigration reform that it's humane, it's practical, it makes sense. >> yes. >> and it's for the betterment of the american -- >> i think that the country -- it didn't really -- the country has a whole will come together and just really -- >> well it has to come. we are the best country in the world and we'll figure it out. >> okay. >> the hope is . >> those are the hopes. >> those are the hopes, and you know the fact that the president elect is a businessman, and we'll see from a business perspective that immigrants are part of the workforce, it cannot be ignored 43 million foreign born across the country including the first lady, and you know, it is for the betterment of the country
