really great. >> doug block is here with two of the couples featured in the film. jodie and michael smart couple number 28. and couple number 11. what a great concept. when i got the notes i thought that day is sort of spectacular and magic. tell us about what made you decide to take on this project. >> pretty much from couple one. i'm alone with the wedding. just ordinary people in the most extraordinary situation. it was spectacular experiences. you form this strange intimate bond with all of them. i thought wouldn't it be great to go back. i would be in a unique advantage point to go back as the guy who videotaped their wedding.

access into it. what did i learn? i've been married 28 years. i know what kind of work it is. i wanted to celebrate the work that goes into it rather than make it seem like that's a bad thing. >> down here to do the lex a alexanders. you guys didn't have a marriage ceremony. you had a partner ceremony. you guys decided to up the ante, why was that important to you guys? >> he's a great husband already. >> the first one was the large ceremony. it was the one that we felt very spiritually connected. connected with our family and friends. it was our first proclamation of love to one another. the second one was much more subdued. it was a practicality more than it was -- >> what was your reaction when he asked? how many years has it been. >> 15 years.
