knee defender attached to the legs of the tray table blocking any movement from the passenger in front of you. the upset passenger threw her glass of water at the man behind her causing such a ruckus the pilot diverted to the nearest airport where they were both removed from the flight by chicago law enforcement. so what do you think? is it confrontational to mechanically block the seat in front of you from reclining? as you can see now, there's very little room for me to work. >> i think it's invading my right to fly and be comfortable. >> what's the name of the device? i'd love to get one. >> reporter: on today's packed planes where there could be zero inches between a reclined seat and passenger's knees, frequent fliers say a fight like this was perhaps inevitable. the faa says preventing someone from reclining their seat is not illegal, but most airlines have a policy that says stopping the

what do you think? >> oh, boy. okay. so you're leaned back, how do you feel back here. >> this has much more room than the seats we're talking about. i don't think you need to actually use the twice to stop the person. there are other ways to do it. like go like this. so you go -- sorry. that usually tends the guy to lean up a little bit. >> that could start a brawl. >> i keep a toddler on my lap kicking the seat in front of me. i've got long legs so i'd be in trouble. >> they make the recline for a reason. but i don't push back on them. >> i gradually go back a little. but i'm stun bid the people that say you should not recline at all. >> let's find out where people are coming down on this one. dylan's over in e the orange room with some responses. dylan? >> clearly to recline or not to recline has sparked quite a conversation online. so we started a hash tag battle.
