hacked, again. are you at risk this time? the message acme has for customers in pennsylvania, new jersey and delaware. camera crackdown. the local town that's changing its tune on red light cameras starting at midnight. and the first alert radar tracking some showers as we take a live look at cape may wet streets this morning for many of you and some fog out there as you get ready to start your tuesday morning. for some of you, good morning, this is nbc 10 news today, i'm chris cato and let's begin with bill henley and his first alert forecast. some rainy areas out there and rain moved through overnight. >> yes, good morning.

fog is off to the north and west and rain minly in new jersey and some other spots getting rain this morning and right up along the coast, cape may getting light rain and just enough to dampen the streets and starting to taper off, you can see by the radar. those showers are heading up the coast, and also a bit of activity moving through northeastern maryland and into the newark area and delaware, northern delaware getting some very light showers right now. as far as the areas of fog are concerned, they're off to the north and west. light fog for potstown, allentown, quakertown you'll find dense fog in hazelton. so, some areas of fog and a few showers, as well. and temperatures that will climb into the 70s this afternoon. jillian mele is watching traffic this morning. good morn, jillian. >> good morning, bill. specifically, we have some road work on 95, the southbound side right near the commodore barry bridge. lane restrictions in the area,

but not causing any slow downs for drivers in that area. we have some construction 95 northbound. the right lane is blocked at that ramp. so use caution there. that is expected to be out there all day today possibly into tomorrow. heading to buckscounty and maple avenue, that's closed out near old lincoln highway and expected to be out there for another few week and take brownsville road as your alternate. little bit of construction on the turnpike northbound between 168 and route 73. one lane is expected to be blocked there until 6:00 this morning. chris? a couple new items to tell you about from overnight. one is a man is in crit condition after being shot several times in philadelphia. police say they found at least 17 shell casings add the scene in west oak lane. the victim was rushed to the hospital by police. so far no arrests have been made. also new from overnight, investigators are looking for the cause of a fire at this row home in philadelphia. it started just after midnight on the second floor of the house

in the aldi neighborhood. everyone was able to get out safely, no one was injured. acme shoppers are watching their bank accounts a little more closely this morning and if you're not, perhaps you should be there. was a data breach that affects some of the stores in the delaware valley. jesse gary is live outside acme in the mayfair section of the city. jesse, what everyone wants to know are customers' financial information at risk here? >> chris, acme executives and executives with the parent company say based on the information they have right now, they do not believe any personal customer information was taken, such as social security numbers. let's go ahead and take a look at our video. two incidents stretching from june to july and last month into this month at some acme stores. a type of spy software collected credit and debit card account numbers and the name of card holders at stores in more than a dozen states.

in response to the breach, executives released the following statement. if you used your debit or credit card in a potentially effected store between you should monitor your credit and debit card account and promptly contact the bank that issued. the other steps the chain is taking to protect the personal identity of its customers. live in mayfair, jesse gary, nbc news. we also have new information in the murder of a pregnant woman in philadelphia. police named a suspect in the case and already wanted in connection with another killing. katy zachary is live with the latest developments outside of police headquarters. katy. >> police believe a suspect in the rest vaunt shooting may have been trying to shoot his accomplish who was sitting in his car with the pregnant girlfriend at the time.

we have video of that shooting. shot several times while sitting in his car with his girlfriend and. ro rosher was shot several times but he was arrested. investigators believe marquees martin wanted to eliminate potential witnesses. i just talked to homicide detectives who tell me he is still out there. he is considered armed and dangerous and if you have any information, police want to hear from you. reporting live outside police headquarters in philadelphia, kaka t k katy zachary. autopsies are planned for today that could shed light on sheridan and joyce. that couple was found in their bedroom sunday morning. john sheridan was a prominent

figure in new jersey health care injury. the fire was detained to the coup couple's bedroom. the arson task force are looking into the case. there is a court hearing today for the three people charged in the beating of a gay couple in philadelphia. kevin harrigan, williams and catherine knot are charged with conspiracy of that attack in center city on september 11th. the three are on this surveillance video taken moments before the assault and accused of asking the victims of their sexual orientation and then punching and beating them and leaving one man with a broken jaw. defense attorneys say the fight was mutual and not motivated by sexual orientation. a rally is set in support of lgbt rights. the three suspects are all from bucks county. the love over hate rally will happen at the county courthouse in doylestown tomorrow at 4:00 p.m. happening later today, the option for revel casino is

scheduled to resume at 10:00 a.m. at a new york city law office. it started last week with a million dollar cash bid. revel cost $2.4 billion to build. it went bankrupt and closed on september 2 pd. also happening today, we'll find out which major low-fare carrier will add daily flights out of philadelphia airport. that airline will offer flights to seven u.s. cities beginning as early as december some of them. an announcement is set for 8:00 this morning. if you drive through abington township. the warning period for red light camera violations ends at midnight tonight. that mean physical you run a red light after midnight, you'll receive a 100 fine in the mail. cameras at three of the most dangerous intersections. later today we should find out how many people so far have received warnings since the cameras went up on august 1st. the township is extending its traffic safety campaign through next month.

learning more this morning about the extent of the security breach inside the white house. this comes ahead of a congressional hearing about safety at 1600 pennsylvania avenue. turns out the man who jumped the white house fence two weeks ago made it all the way into the east room of the white house, which is much further than first reported. nbc news has confirmed that omar gonzalez entered an unlocked door, overpowered a secret service officer and ran through much of the main floor. an agent eventually tackled him in the east room. the secret service has some questions to answer. >> the biggest question would be, how did he make it all the way to the white house? did something happen? was somebody on a bathroom break? was somebody smoking a cigarette or do they just not have enough man power right there at the white house? >> now, secret service director julia pierson will be on the hot seat today. she is testifying on white house security and secret service procedure. a man and woman who police say robbed people at two area

gun ranges and shot one of their victims are expected in court today. jeffrey chandler and samia poteat. held up a man on june 11th and then accused of shooting another man in northeast philadelphia the next day. police say the pair stole a number of guns during those robberies. and today a trial is scheduled to begin for christopher stegel. this trial was moved from yesterday to today. he is accused of running over a police officer's foot and dragging him from his vehicle. he refused to get out of his car during a traffic stop two years ago. he sped off dragging the officer about a block. the officer had a fractured ankle. he later turned himself in. well, we're looking at clouds overhead and some rain in the area. not everybody is getting the rain right now. in fact, it's dry in center

city. this is a live view from the melon bank building. the temperature back in the middle 60s. 65 degrees at the same point we were yesterday. temperature wise with clouds overhead. this morning, though, we're tracking some light rain and all but ended in cape may and the streets are still damp but the showers are pushing off to the north. the temperatures cooler north and west and 50s where we're seeing some areas of fog. fog has not appeared in millville or wildwood, but some showers, still, hugging the coastline. there you can see the last few raindrops in cape may. a steadier shower moving through the atlantic city area pushing towards beach haven. and a few showers around pensville and new castle county, just some very light rainfall and coming down a bit heavier in northeastern maryland this morning. showers are going to be pushing out this morning but there is a chance that we'll see scattered showers later in the day today. the future weather hour-by-hour showing clouds breaking and get some sunshine and allow some temperatures to warm up into the

middle 70s this afternoon. but later in the afternoon. this is 5:00. you can see some showers blowing inland and you can see isolated showers are possible this afternoon. it's not going to be widespread rainfall, but you might need your umbrella later today. 66 degrees at 9:00. we'll get sunshine breaking through and dry at lunchtime, 70 degrees and 76 and we'll be watching for some showers later today. a look towards tomorrow when we come back with the extended future weather. we are looking towards right now in terms of what you can expect on the roads this early tuesday americmorning. jillian mele has information for us, hopefully nothing too bad out there, jillian. >> we're not reporting any accidents out there this morning, chris. that's good news. we do have some spots of construction, including right here. this is 422 right at trooper. you can see one lane restricted in both directions because of that overnight construction and it's not causing any delays. just a little bit too early for that. not too many vehicles on the road just yet. that could change later in the

many of you waking up to wet streets this morning. and the spotty showers will be around. there's a chance, meteorologist bill henley says for showers later in the day, but not a big rain event expected. in fact, we're looking at more sunshine in most areas today with a high around 76. bill is back in a moment to tell us when our next chance of rain will return. members of an atlantic city synagogue are on edge this morning because of what you see here. that is their rabbi's car there going up in flames outside the temple. firefighters were called around 2:00 thursday morning. witnesses tell them that they saw some people near the rabbi's suv earlier. police say they're not ruling out the possibility that this was a hate crime. >> given the fact that it happened on the synagogue property on the first night of the high holidays, there were

neighbors who witnessed people hanging out in the area very shortly before it happened. it leaves a lot of room for suspicion. >> now the synagogue is in the process of hiring its own security and atlantic city police say they have increased patrols in that area, as well. a philadelphia police officer is the subject of an internal affairs investigation this morning. he is accused of attacking his partner and sources tell us the two were having an affair. that incident happened friday not far from the 18th district headquarters where both officers work. an argument between the officers turn under to a fight and the female officer had fals injuries. >> this is very serious and the department looks at it in a very serious way. so, it's not going to be something that's taken lightly, whether it's domestic in nature or not. >> now, internal affairs stepped in over the weekend to conduct interviews. the accused officer is on desk duty until that investigation is

complete. 4:16 now. the search for suspected trooper killer eric frein is about to enter its third week. crews spent much of yesterday afternoon near a camp site in barrett township monroe county. that's where an fbi found a checkbook with frein's name on it and a .308 caliber rifle. search crews radioed each other about closing in on the suspect. listen. >> the individual from the last guy to see him. >> we've got some granola bars down here by a tree that have not been open. >> file it in and move towards him. >> at one point they thought they saw a man walking around a lake, but the canine units lost the trail. frein is wanted for shooting two pennsylvania state troopers on september 12th killing one of them. former philadelphia spots caster don halston is waiting to

be sentenced after he pleaded guilty yesterday in a charity scam. in bucks county yesterday, prosecutor say he sold ticket pack nls for sports events with the promise money would go to charity but instead he pocketed hundreds of thousands of dollars and the buyers never got their tickets. >> wanted to thank all of you for respecting my family's privacy and as the healing process begins, i hope you will continue to do so. >> tolison told the judge he has been battling addiction for several years. he is facing more than 30 years behind bars. 4:18 now. happening today, some delaware lawmakers are hosting a holiday job fair hoping to get hundreds of people back in the workforce. two u.s. senators and a congressman are hosting that job fair in newark from 3:00 this afternoon until 7:00. this is video from a previous holiday job fair. more than 30 stores are looking

to hire seasonal and full-time workers. >> this is a great opportunity for hundreds of folks to augment their income by getting an additional part-time job or seasonal job and a chance for young people to get their first foot on the bottom rung of the ladder or those in the workforce. >> now, again, that holiday job fair runs from 3:00 this afternoon until 7:00 in newark. clouds overhead, we had some rain overnight. very little wind this morning, so, some areas are seeing some cooling and allowing some fog to form. it isn't happening in philadelphia international, thoughhumidity is on the high side at 87%. and in delaware, you can see it in the stoplight, a little light fog there and little drizzly, as well. some light showers are moving through parts of delaware. but the thickest fog is to the west. lancaster, zero visibility is down to a mile and a quarter in

coatsville and just under a mile for quaker town and you can also find some really thick fog in hazelton. and going down in mount pocono. the visibility now down to three quarter mile. showers moving through delaware and off shore some showers are moving across the coast right now. it will be heading off shore. look what is going to be coming our way. to the west, you can see some breaks in the clouds. a bit of clearing and clearing will allow for some sunshine to come through and the temperatures to warm into the 70s this afternoon. but even with the sunshine, there's still a chance we'll see pop-up showers later this afternoon and you can see nothing widespread, but an isolated shower even possible during the later evening hours coming inland and showers will persist even into tomorrow morning. scattered stuff with breaks in the clouds. so, we'll get some sunshine, but it's not going to be an all day rainfall today or tomorrow. but keep an umbrella handy just in case. the forecast calling for clouds and sunshine breaking through,

especially later this morning and into this afternoon. but you can't rule out a pop-up shower with temperatures popping up into the 70s. there is some cooler weather ahead, though, the seven-day forecast coming up in the next half hour. 4:21 and let's get a check of the roads out there. she's not a meteorologist, that's bill. she is our own very qualified traffic reporter, jillian mele. i promoted you there to meteorologist. >> i can be that if you'd like me to boo that. >> this is the forecast for traffic. >> that is something that i can certainly cover. we have some construction out there. some overnight road work in the process of wrapping up. you can see it right here 95 southbound near the commodore barry bridge. not blocking too much and traffic is getting by, but an active construction zone. you always want to use caution when you're passing by a construction zone. we have some on 202 northbound between route 401 and the left lane is blocked in that area and, finally, a live look at the ben franklin bridge. the view from philadelphia just
