long term closures the offramp to 202 is closed and further southbound for drivers on 95 northbound the off ramp is closed as part of a construction project. also moving into new jersey taking a look at 295. no accidents to report. christine? >> this morning there's a health scare in mercer county after two more people tested positive for hepatitis a. officials now fear hundreds could be affected. both of those people recently ate at rosa's restaurant in hamilton township. a food handler tested positive for the disease. monique braxton is live and what can you tell us about these new cases this morning? >> reporter: good morning, christine, while viewers were sleeping we learned that both of the patients tell us that they are recovering are women. one of them worked here at this y.

health officials say hundreds of people could have been exposed to hepatitis a. a warning message is posted on the y's website. we put together overnight a map to show you the three locations the patient worked. township health officials say she teaches classes at the y. the same fitness instructor works at the athletic club in lawrenceville. and she's an employee of the mercer county board of social services in trenton. anyone at these three locations between december 5th and 29th is at risk for hep a if not. vaccinated. the hamilton health department tells us another person recovering worked at the hair post salon. this morning a warning for anyone who visited the hair salon between december 4th and new year's eve, a popular time when men and women go to a hair salon.

anyone could be at risk for developing hep a as well as if not vaccinated. coming up in the next half hour, we're going to look at the symptoms and talk to you about what's next if you have not been vaccinated. live for now in hamilton township, monique braxton, nbc 10 news. >> you can read more about hepatitis a and the cases in mercer county by heading to nbc10.com. a man held in connection with a parking garage rape in philadelphia has been formally charged. just hours ago steven woodson from pittsburgh was arraigned in center city and nbc 10 was there as he was taken away in a police van. >> reporter: woodson is charged with rape, attempted murder assault and some other crimes. overnight he was transported from the special victims unit over to police headquarters to go before a judge. investigators use fingerprints

and other evidence at the scene to tie woodson to the crime. 11:00 thursday morning, he raped a woman on the second level of the spring garden parking garage. the victim is in stable condition at the hospital. coming up in the next 30 minutes, we'll talk about the effect the crime is hagving on people who work and live around the crime scene. 4:05 a.m. now. new from overnight, a man is under arrest after authorities say he broke into. the target store. security guards called police when they saw the man inside after business hours. officers surrounded the store, arrested him and charged him with attempted burglary. today family and friends will gather to remember a 10-year-old boy who was hit and killed by a police cruiser. he died sunday after a franklin township police car hit him. mourners a attending a vigil

last night released flaming lanterns into the sky. they will gather for a funeral today in williams town. many are still looking for answers about the crash. >> i don't think we'll get the answers we're looking for. and that's just because there's always going to be questions and peace is what everybody wants. >> the prosecutor's office is investigating the crash. the police officer that hit the boy was responding to a call. that officer is on paid administrative leave. today people across the country are mourning the loss of mario cuomo. he died last night, he was 82 years old. doctors have been treated him for a heart condition but is v not determined an exact cause of death. he served three terms from 1983 to 1994. he died on the same day his son andrew cuomo began his second term as governor.

legs but then decided to amputate. yesterday she got to try out her new leg for the first time. >> i'm standing! for the first time in so long i'm standing here talking and i'm so excited. >> she will now gain strength by working with a trainer who is also an amputee. two west virginia police officers are recovering after being woupdnded in a new year's day shootout. the officers stopped an suv with stolen plate when is a truck pulled up and the driver of the truck opened fire. the police returned fire wounding that driver. officers arrested both the drivers of the truck and the suv. then when they searched the red truck, police found two bodies. the investigation continues and the two wounded officers are expected to be okay. 4:16 now. happening today in new york

city, a protest against police brutality. this comes two days before the funeral of a police officer murdered along with his partner in their cruiser. members of the ferguson national response network will hold the demonstration outside the headquarters of news corps, which owns fox news channel and the "new york post." the group plans a die-in protest this afternoon. a gunman shot and killed officers rafael ramos and wenjian liu in their patrol car december 20th and then killed himself. some members of the philadelphia police force will attend the funeral sunday for the officer. the lodge 5 will provide buss to take officers to the services in new york. there is a call for calm after a deadly police shooting in bridgeton. take a look at this video. is shows police searching a car after 36-year-old reid was shot and killed by police. he was a passenger in the car when police pulled it over

tuesday night. investigators still have not said what led up to the shooting. witness witnesses told nbc 10 reid had his hands up. the mayor wants the community to let the justice system do its job. >> i as the mayor, will be in the charge of transparency so they can see everything that happens and didn't happen. >> police say they did find a gun at the scene. both officers involved in the shooting are on leave during the investigation. from our delaware bureau now, state troopers are asking for the public's help to prevent violence against police officers. they ask anyone who knows of a threat to report it right away to the anti-terrorism tip line. look at the number on your screen. . 1 hfr 800-force-12. but if there's an imminent threat, always call 911. this morning police say the death of a woman found in a home is considered suspicious. investigators tell us someone shot and killed the 22-year-old.

according to authorities, a man inside the home at the time of the shooting isñu.xç cooperating with investigators. take a look at this video of a fire we brought you as breaking news yesterday morning. a firefighter took this video of flames in mount holly. a section of the former warehouse collapsed. more than 100 firefighters were to put out that four-alarm fire. investigators say leftover oil and wood inside the building fuelled those flames but it's still not clear what started the fire. skies are nice and clear right now. getting a great view of the moon setting behind center city. this is looking from the aquarium. completely clear, and that has led to a cold morning. 30 degrees in philadelphia with a wind at 7 miles an hour at the airport. it feels like 23 degrees. that's the same temperature we had at this hour. snow making equipment, they have

sugar bowl, semi final, ohio state upset the number one ranked alabama crimson tide. chris cato is still mourning the loss. the game came down to the final minutes, but. ohio state won 42-35. in the other semifinal game the oregon ducks took on florida state in the rose bowl. it was close until the second half. then the ducks pulled away for the 59-20 win. oregon will face ohio state in the national championship on january 12th. another data breach has a new round of consumers at risk of identity theft. we'll tell you the latest business to get hacked. plus hope after a tough year. the new opportunities coming in 2015 for casino workers in atlantic city.
