there are fears 200 others may have been exposed. halle jackson has this for us good morning. >> reporter: savannah the patients here at ucla are being offered free home infection kits too see if they have been infected be i this bacteria. it's been called a fight mayor bacteria by federal health officials, a superbug that can kill up to half the people that become affected with it in their bloodstreams. now about 170 patients at ucla are learning they may have been exposed to cre after having endoscopys. they caught the buck through scopes that may have been contaminated. two died possibly because they were affected. >> e normally lives in the gut. if it gets into the bloodstream, it may kill 50% of the people it infects. >> reporter: similar outbreak versus happened in seattle, chicago and pittsburgh and at

>> what's your message to other moms? >> well my overwhelming message to every woman out there and young women, too, because they're so bombarded is we have this internal dialogue that says okay if i can do this then i can have this. if i can be thin then i'll be happy. and i want to change that. i want the little voice in the back of the head that's saying you are not good enough you can just hear it and say, okay bye. i don't need to listen to you, because i'm writing my own story now and i can be happy however i am. >> and i think the key is probably moderation. right? finding that happiness probably has less to do with what you eat or don't eat, it has to do with something pence. >> we have a huge garden. i bake amazing cakes. so let's face it cake is good so are fresh vegetables. we do both. >> it's a great piece. i hope people read it. joanie thank you for being here. send it over to willie. >> savannah thank you. parents struggle to keep up with
