saw yesterday and warmer weather is on the way for the weekend. here's a live look outside. mostly cloudy skies. you can see a few rain drops on the camera there. very isolated showers moving into parts of new castle county. mostly cloudy skies, just a few lingering showers, we'll see another round as we get closer to the evening hours as well. 51 in the pocono mountains. 58 in atlantic city temperatures in philadelphia about 59 degrees, and 56 in trimble. by noon 64 degrees, we won't warm up too much more than that. our temperatures are going to range only between 63 and 66. the average for this time of year is close to 80 degrees. and we will warm back to the 80s. i'll let you know in my full forecast. but for now, i'll check in with the "first alert" track reporter

katy zachry. >> good morning to you. very few cars on the road on this stretch of broad street in south philadelphia. speaking of 95 the typical trouble spot 95 to woodhaven, about 12 minutes. 76 looking great as well in pennsylvania. new jersey roadways are looking clear, too. unfortunately in delaware we do have a crash, at chester pusey street. and a crash killed two men after 1:00 this morning. nbc10's matt delucia is live on the scene. matt, what does the scene look look like now? >> reporter: you can see the police activity and fire troubles as well. a lot of debris as a result of this. the car is out here on second street. they got one of the cars up on a

tow truck. the other car is out here on the side of the road. a witness tells us that he heard the crash and the center lane trying to turn right on pusey street. and this is what's left. the witnesses say the red car was clearly going very fast at the time. and both men died here at the scene. the witness rushed out of his home and tried to save the lives of these two men. for now, second street remains blocked off from traffic as cleanups continue as does the investigation. live in chester, i'm matt delucia, "nbc10 news." it's 58 degrees outside. remembering beau biden. the public gets its first chance to say good-bye to delaware's former attorney general today. beau biden died saturday of brain cancer he was 46. he will lie in honor between 1:00 and 5:00 this afternoon.

said. the man acquitted of murdering philadelphia police officer moses walker. rafael jones killed officer walker. in court, the officer's mother called jones ded ded jones an animal. his mother led a prayer outside of center city philadelphia. >> from his history, that he's an animal, but i expected that. i knew justice is going to be served, i just wished the punishment fit the crime. >> co-defendant mcfarland accepted a 20 to 40-year plea deal in exchange for his testimony against jones. the jessica padgett murder case will take the next step forward in charging gregory graf

is charged with killing his stepdaughter and abusing her corpse. police found her body behind a shed on graf's property last november. she was last seen leaving her job at a north hampton day care five days later. investigators say graf shot is and killed her and then video taped himself abusing her. a man leaves a 3-year-old boy in a car. the police say the boyfriend drove off after a traffic stop in west philadelphia last night. they chased hill later recovered his car in upper darby, and the toddler was found inside the car and is okay. we have new information on a deadly tour bus crash in the poconos and what caused it. investigators say the truck here

crossed into the oncoming lanes of i-80. the truck hit another tractor trailer before slamming into the tour bus. three people on the bus died including the driver who we have learned is from new york city. four passengers are in critical condition right now. with the weren en witnesses tell us they jumped into action. >> she just jumped on my shoulders and brought her down to the ground. >> people were screaming and hollering. >> just havoc, there were people screaming and crying everywhere. >> a group of tourists from italy were aboard that bus headed to niagara falls. the crash happened along the same stretch of highway where singer gloria estefan was hurt back in 1990. in that case, a tractor trailer crashed into her tour bus, estefan suffered a broken vertebrae. if you have our nbc10 news app, you were one of the first to find out about the crash.

fiorina, and george pataki. and governor christie blasts the overhaul of the nsa bulk collection program. the changes tuesday to overhaul the program by keeping records in phone company's hands, not the government. the nsa will continue to seek our text messages and e-mailing after the september 11 attacks. the number of labs across the country that may have received live anthrax is growing. yesterday, the pentagon announced mistakenly sent live spores to at least 51 locations and 17 states and three foreign countries which is about twice that was announced last week. labs in delaware and new jersey received the spores but authorities say there's no risk to the general public. it's about 4:17 and there's

new information on the man who drove a gyrocopter on the lawns of the white house. some say his employer is taking steps to fire him for unacceptable conduct. the pilot is facing several charges that could land him in jail for years. >> the widow of the man run over by rap mogul marion knight on a movie set in california is filing a wrongful death lawsuit. the lawsuit has claims against universal studios citing negligence for continuing to film in compton after officials were warned to keep knight away from the set. knight is currently behind bars and pleaded not guilty to murder charges. an alleged victim of convicted child molester jerry sandusky wants a court to force state prosecutors to file charges. the man says the abuse happened in the late '80s during a

football camp. and yesterday, the attorney filed an appeal naming kathleen kane and two of her employees. the office determined the allegations were too cold to be viable under the statute of limitations. pennsylvania house will now consider a bill aimed at protecting jobs. the senate advanceded the bill yesterday that would prevent people from tethering dogs tying up dogs outside in severe weather or when it would deprive them of food water or shelter. the senate also approved other protection bills which now go to the house. delaware drivers could soon pay more in vehicle fees a bill to raise those fees is headed to the senate for a vote after it was approved by a committee yesterday. the tax on car sales would go up, so would penalties for late finance and registration renewal renewals.

about 13 minutes. a philadelphia high school is honoring fallen firefighter joyce craig. they awarded a scholarship in her name at winfield heights last night. she graduated from dobyns in 1995. she died while battling a row home fire last december. she left behind a teenage son and a 3-year-old daughter. changes and changing the way one of a kind karnes is caught. groundbreaking research done in the philadelphia area. it could mean people live longer after being diagnosed. it's one of the most anticipated movies of the summer let's morning, we hear from a local actor who got a chance to be part of "entourage."
