to destroy so much here. and as charleston comes together. ♪ ♪ they were outside mother emanuel. the end of a unity march through the grieving city now hoping and praying for better days. >> more love. more brotherhood and sister hood. >> that's a big agenda. >> i know. it's got to start somewhere. >> reporter: stunning images of hate surface on the website. dozens of picture of dylann roof holding a gun, standing in front of a confederate history library. nbc news has not confirmed that roof posted the content. the fbi is working under the assumption that roof is responsible. nearly 2500 words using the n-word saying african-americans are stupid and violent.

the top of the dome to where it stands now on the grounds of the capitol capitol. there seems to be national momentum. you talk about romney romney. governor jeb bush who noted yesterday in a tweet, hey, i took down the confederate battle flag in 2001 while he was governor of florida. it was a similar situation. florida had had flying above the capitol. he said he put it where it belonged in a museum which is the similar stands on the confederate flag that president obama has. i think there may be more momentum than i would have thought. lindsey graham saying is a big deal as well being the senior senator from south carolina. >> we'll continue to watch that. in the meantime the other debate renewed as a result of the murders which is gun control. president obama expressing his frustration over the lack of movement. hillary clinton spent a lot of time talking about what happened in chairmanton and specifically about that.

let's take a listen. >> the president is right. the politics on this issue have been poisoned but we can't give up. the stakes are too high. the costs are too dear and i am not and will not be afraid to keep fighting for common sense reforms. >> is there a sense in washington, chuck, that there is movement on that front. perhaps more of a discussion leading to a reform or are we stuck? >> i think in washington it's stuck. let's not pretend it's going to be any other way. if sandy hook elementary school couldn't sort of move background check bill that would have been an incremental reform at best, no miertatter how you describe it. i think washington is stuck. does become a cultural conversation a behavior conversation. where we move away from the legislation fight and talk about behavior. one thing we'll show today is a powerful video of convicted

phoned in a tip. they saw people matching the description of the escapees. spotted on railroad tracks that run along route 20. county and state police responding quickly blocking off roads, having drivers open their trunks. up above choppers helped search for the two convicted killers. friendship is in allegheny county where last weekend there were two other possible sightings of the men. one in erwin walking along a rail yard and one heading to the pennsylvania border. >> you can easily walk through. some of the back roads lead into pennsylvania from there. >> it comes two weeks after matt and sweat cut their way out of the maximum security prison and escaped through steam pipes. the two are now on the u.s. martial's most wanted list. >> they cast a wider net around the world.

father's day favorites. we have some specials this morning. my father judge darnell jones and dylan's father-in-law. let me tell you what i i remember most is the meals he cooked while i was in philadelphia working long and crazy hours. especially on sunday he would invite us over for lam chops with tucson cael. >> and he's known for the giant pancakes. like the size of your face. >> sheinelle and judge, take it away. >> we're going to create a marinade. a 1 steak sauce. >> easy enough.

you use a wooden spoon because if you use the whisk people in your family know that denise, your wife is making it and not you. >> i use a spoon because it makes the sound that my children love to hear. >> that's the sound of dad making pancakes. >> i'm going to prep the pan. i like to melt butter in the pan first and i wipe it down with paper towels. it gives it the nice crispy brown on the outside. and the whole thing with the pancake, you have to go in for the flip. it has to be just so. you got commit right? there you go! did you hear that sound. that made a nice flop and everything. to kind of work my own dad into this a little bit, when i was little i couldn't decide between pancakes and eggs. my dad decided you can cut a whole in the top of the pancake, remove the little piece of pancake, we can drop an egg in the pancake like toad in the hole. there you go.
