the low 90s. 90s to end out the week. this is going to be heat wave number three. the average high is 87 degrees, it's not even just the rest of this week with 90 degree temperatures, we expect this to last all the way through the weekend. this is going to be a prolonged heat wave. the temperatures right now, we're warm and humid at the moment, 81 in philadelphia 81 northeast philly the rest of the area in the mid to upper 70s, along with the humidity as you wake up tomorrow morning, it's going to be another warm humid start to the day. by 8:00 in the morning, temperatures in the upper 70s, some of you could see patchy fog, by 10:00 a.m. already in the mid 8-80s, hot and humid, we could be around 90 degrees, the 90 degree temperatures staying in the forecast we have a round of thunderstorms later this week too. i'll show you the timing on that coming up. >> a break in the case tonight police say they've arrested the man who dressed as a construction worker to rob two pharmacies and carjack a priest in south jersey.

>> that man is donald hart and he's facing multiple charges tonight. denise nakano is live in haddonfield, where did police find him? >> police had an idea who they were looking for and they nabbed him this afternoon in cherry 4i8 hill now, he's hired a lawyer and he didn't answer many questions here. but to the relief of customers and neighbors, he is behind bars. relief for workers, customers and neighbors of the haddon avenue rite aid in haddonfield, police say the man who terrorized employees at gunpoint and carjacked a retired priest last month is in custody. >> i'm happy they caught him. >> police say donald hart of manchu with a is the same wan seen in this video surveillance june 16th the 27-year-old stole prescription painkillers from the pharmacist and got away in the retired priests car. pat parker and her granddaughter are rite-aid regulars and live nearby. they remember the fear the

guards man and has a 4-year-old daughter. the police chase through two states we brought you as breaking news at 11:00, the driver was wanted in part for stealing underwear. this is robert ritter police say he shoplifted underwear worth $20. and the crime was caught on surveillance video. ritter assaulted a loss prevention officer to get away with that underwear. nbc10 uncovered copies of ritter's arrest warrant and complaints detailing $20,000 in outstanding war abilities. police used a pittman you've to stop the van last night and it flipped. we looked to see what police did correctly and what they did wrong. the box trap that did not work for police. >> you want to keep it a tight quarters with all vehicles to have that individual have no out. he finds a seem and he takes it. >> the pittman you've police used to finally end the chase

with the new jersey state trooper will soon be recorded in a new way. today the acting attorney general announced plans to spend $4 million on body cameras for all troopers and some local police departments. the cameras should be in place within a year the announcement comes as cumberland county prosecutors investigate the use of deadly force by police in two cases. >> show me your hands, show me your hands. don't move. >> this cell known video shows bridgeton police shooting and killing dwayne reed during a stop in march. the attorney general says he has faith in both investigations. >> i have confidence and faith that those investigations are being done in a way that's both efficient and comprehensive. >> the state also issued a policy for how to record video from the new body cameras. new video tonight of sandra bland a woman who died in a

texas jail after police arrested her during a traffic stop. a judge released that footage today, saying he wanted to zpel conspiracy theorys that bland was dead before she arrived. one rumor, bland was dead when her mugshot was taken. bland died fwoo weeks ago, authorities ruled her death a suicide, critics blame police foul play. >> a police worker plead guilty to seven years behind bars to her break in the jail break. how joyce mitchell fell for richard matt and david sweat. according to the documents, she had sexual encounters with the pair and took pills from them to drug her husband. mitchell will be sentenced next month. the longest heat wave this season, and storms how long will temperatures near triple digits and how long rain will impact your week. the son of a philadelphia

30 years in jail the son of a former philadelphia mob boss learned his punishment today in a racketeering and conspiracy case. he was convicted of trying to take over a texas financial firm to steal $12 million from shareholders. three codefendants will be sentenced later this week. his father is serving a 55-year sentence on similar charges. now to decision 2016 hillary clinton is set to visit pennsylvania tomorrow. the democratic presidential candidate will appear at a conversation with hillary

fund-raiser in vanscranton. she has a connection to the area as her father was born in scranton. right now there are five candidates seeking the democratic presidential nomination, including clinton. the republican field is far more crowded with 16 candidates in the running for president. >> tonight an attorney for republican candidate donald trump has issued a public apology. this comes after michael cohen made a controversial comment while defending trump against decades old allegations of rape. here's what he reportedly told the daily beast. you're talking about the front-runner for the gop presidential candidate as well as a private individual who never raped anybody and, of course, understand that by the very definition you cannot rape your spouse end quote. cohen made those comments in response to an article published yesterday that resurfaced allegations that trump raped his then wife ivana in 1989. trump has denied those accusations in the past.

ivana released a statement saying the allegations are totally without merit. scott walker the governor of wisconsin a state known for its cheese, and today he sampled a philadelphia specialty, cheesesteak, of course. he ordered one at gino's then went across the street to pat's, in case you're wondering, he ordered both states with american cheese no onions. an unprecedented surgery in our own backyard a young boy has a new set of human hands tonight. thanks to doctors from children's hospital of philadelphia, the transplant is the first of its kind. >> it's great to see you, how are you feeling? >> very good. >> that's 8-year-old zion harvey who told doctors he feels very good. he survived an infection when he was a toddler, but the disease cost him his hands and feet. earlier this month, a team of 40 specialists from chop did what's never been done before he had had a double hand transplant.

going to stretch across your weekend. today we got to 93 average high is 87. and we've been talking about this we have a heat wave in the forecast staying in the 90s as we end out the week all we need are three days of 90 degree plus temperatures, that's a heat wave. we will see way more than that. aside from this and because of the weather pattern in place, that's giving us a heat wave giving us an air quality alert for tomorrow this includes much of pennsylvania lehigh valley into philadelphia much of new jersey all of delaware. this is unhealthy pollution levels for sensitive individuals like the elderly, those with asthma. this kind of weather setup, you don't want to be doing any strenuous activities where you have to take in deep breaths in the air. i don't think you'd want to. here's future feels like temperature, we're going to keep feeling like the 70s mostly by 9:00 tomorrow morning, this is how early it's already going to start to feel around 90 degrees, through the afternoon tomorrow feeling like the mid to upper

90s through the area we go into thursday, thursday's a hot day by 9:00 in the morning. already feeling like the low 90s in some spots, through thursday afternoon, that's when some areas feel like triple digits maybe even dover feeling close to 103. we'll have thunderstorms along with this until we get to thursday, it's going to stay hot and humid tomorrow the area of high pressure keeping us mostly dry, thursday thunderstorms are further back off to our west right around the chicago area. but they will be here as we go through mostly the afternoon, and the evening thursday. so here's our future weather showing tomorrow hot and humid day, staying sunny, you can't rule out a stray shower further south, i think the area will be staying mostly dry. we go into thursday by thursday morning, we could have a few small showers around hot and humid through the day, then you see the line of storms thursday early after noon by evening rush, i think we'll have scattered showers and thunderstorms around thursday night that's when we should start to clear. warm and humid, patchy fog,
