detectives say at least two other people were with him inside that suv. currently north west detectives searching for those gte suspects. and they're using this surveillance video that shows this entire road rage attack. at the scene of the attack shareds of glass remain on the street. the security camera watches from above. we showed the video to neighbors who couldn't believe it. >> that's horrible. >> reporter: it was here the 26-year-old victim pulled up to a stop sign then a man with a baseball bat begins a rampage. witnesses could only watch. >> they break all the windows. you could hear all the popping of the windows. >> reporter: the victim tries to run, but is chased down and beaten some more. police say the suspect had at least one female passenger. the victim was rushed toñ

hospital. the victim's mother thinks her daughter must have angered the suspect a few blocks back. >> he attacked as soon as she lñ=á÷ off the car. >> reporter: her family says the young woman suffered a broken wrist and they hope somebody recognizes the suv. >> it looked as if he was trying to kill my child. i need him to be caught. >> reporter: one last look at that suspect. detectives are looking for confidential tips. anyone who may recognize him or that suv. the family tells me this victim was coming home from her first day at work at a brand-new job when she was attacked. and take a look at this. philadelphia police are searching for a man who chased and attacked a woman last week.

you see him slam her to the ground and grab her cell phone. police hope someone will recognize him and turn him in. a camden county man is found after being lost in the woods for two days. police have beenms james wharton since tuesday morning. officers found wharton tonight along some train tracks off williams town road. they took him to the hospital to be checked out. they say he was in good spirits. turning to our water now. we are tracking rain moving in. the heaviest downpours are off to our south. so will parts of our area see some of that? >> yeah, we've been watching the rain very closely. there is a chance that mostly parts of new jersey and delaware could see heavy pockets of rain move through overnight tonight. what we have right now is light

to moderate rain in new jersey some in philadelphia, also in delaware. it's mostly light to moderate rain. zooming out, you see the heavy rain to the south slowly moving up into maryland. that's going to be the case as we go into tomorrow. here's future weather. it's picking up on the heavy rain south of under the circumstances. tomorrow morning it's going to stay just to our south. so the best chance of rain for tomorrow morning would be new jersey and delaware. conditions change quite a bit the farther north and west you go. philadelphia cloudy conditions and possibly mostly dry. lee highr[th÷&m valley you could just be sunny in the morning. coming up we'll take a close look at the timing of the rain and how it may impact5 the area for the weekend. mr. trump --

the next republican debate is five weeks away. a lawyer for pennsylvania's top prosecutor says kathleen kane will plead not guilty now that she's been charged with several crimes. the charges include perjury, obstruction, and conspiracy. kane is accused of leaking secret grand jury information to punish two former staffers she felt were critical of her. >> i don't know how she can defenda#&i/ serious charges and remain in office and do the job that we in pennsylvania need her to do to be the@se chief law enforcement officer. >> she maintains her innocence and says she won't step down. tonight, unanswered questions after the death of an 11-year-old boy from delaware

county. the medical examinermraha÷ ruled laquan i8úbdylateraly more's death an accidental drowning. this investigation is still very active. >> reporter: it certainly is. largely because there are still so many looseneds surrounding the boy's final hours. somehow he ended up some 2 miles away in this direction in darby creek. as an uncle sang in his memory loved ones embraced sharing their pain just hours after authorities confirmed it was laquan's body pulled from darby creek yesterday. the boy's family says they still have troubling questions. >> there's a lot to be investigated a lot of people to8;

tw be looked at. we?z8ox just don't believe that it happened the way it did. >> reporter: police acknowledged they have questions too. the 11-year-old boy was last seen riding his bike possibly with a group of other kids. even tonight, investigators haven't found that]r bike or backpack. they don't know who he was with and they can't explain why the nonswimmer would have gotten into this murky, fast-moving water. >> as a family no we don't believe that laquan was a jumper into the creek. not at all. >> everything's just like in :9>v his death was malicious and family accepts that for now. but even as his pastor and friends recall his fun-loving side, the lingering unknowns means there's little closure. >> i don't think i can become comfortable with laquan not being here anymore.

mid-60s by 8:00 in the morning. philadelphia area low 70s. we'll see the clouds around. for new jersey and delaware that's where we have the best chance of morning showers. locally on radar, we do have the rain around. it's mostly on the light side. there are a few embedded heavier to moderate showers moving into ocean county. most of the area right now just seeing the cloud cover and some spripg ls. the green is showing you where that lighter rain is. now, the red, that shows you the heavier rain. that's just to our south in maryland. there's a chance that could move into delaware through the overnight hours. the bulk of the moisture is to our south right now. it's all that area of low pressure. now here's future weather. as we go into tomorrow that area of low pressure is going to

be just to our south. best rain chances will be delaware and the new jersey shore. areas in new jersey and delaware you're going to see those rain chances increasing. now we go into saturday. that area of low pressure starts to move away. but the winds will still will high through the day saturday. sunday we'll see much better conditions through the area. with the winds high if you're heading to the beaches, keep in mind we could see that rip current risk increase across the weekend. tomorrow though, scattered showers around. saturday, we'll start to see drying conditions. but again windy and we will watch that rip current risk. sunday though looks like a pretty good day. upper 50s north and west. upper 60s philadelphia area. tomorrow showers mostly in new jersey and delaware. temperatures in the low 80s. so certainly not everybody tomorrow is going to see the

rain. it will be mainly south. temperatures will stay comfortable. then we go into the weekend and we'll be watching for that rain right along the shore as that area of low pressure moves away. i don't think it will be a bad beach day on saturday. we will see conditions improving later in the day on saturday. keep in mind the winds around and those will be affecting a rip current risk. sunday looks good. mid-80s. no 90s in the seven-day forecast. >> i know. the great thing about summer is enjoying dining outside. >> yeah. >> so we have some of that great weather to enjoy tasty foot outdoors tonight. nbc10 along lancaster avenue. this is the latest stop for night market philadelphia. it's a roving street festival. the celebration of food music and art held in different spots throughout the city.

laying back with puppies. >> i know! >> and of course you want to watch for selma hayek too. we all love her. tomorrow, we'll be watching some of these showers. locally, we're seeing pretty light rain. around maryland and going into virginia, that's some heavier rain. most of this is going to stay to our south tomorrow. the best rain chance will be new jersey and delaware. the farther north and west you go, lee high valley, you could be seeing sunshine tomorrow. and we'll be watching this very closely. temperature-wise, we'll be in the low 80s. by saturday we'll see all this rain start to clear out. the best chance for rain early saturday is going to be on the shore. it will be windy. it could increase the rip current risk through the weekend. otherwise, we'll be seeing conditions improving.
