some quick money. we think there was a struggle at which time she was shot. >> reporter: the victim was able to tell responding police officers there were two men, one tall, one short. police rushed her to presbyterian hospital in critical condition. she has been in surgery much of the day. the gunshot to her face tore a hole in her esophagus before lodging a bullet next to her spine. other merchants at the haverford avenue shops are startled by this level of violence. >> now i'm scared for myself and my business as well. >> reporter: investigators believe this was a targeted attack and a crime of opportunity. they are looking for video. >> maybe we don't live in such a safe area. >> reporter: one of the problems with surveillance cameras closer to the scene, they are pointing the wrong way. an assistant inside the bakery was not working so detectives are hoping witnesses will come forward to aid in their investigation. this last note this was not the first time this bakery was

robbed. she was robbed a week ago today. we will expand on that and tell you what happened coming up in the 6:00 hour. jesse gary, nbc 10 news. meanwhile, a gas leak shut down the new jersey turnpike in our area this afternoon. sky force 10 over the turnpike between exits 3 and 4 in cherry hill as police detoured traffic. the police tell us a construction crew accidentally struck a gas pipe, causing a leak. we are told crews shut off the gas. traffic is moving again. septa released new information today about another lottery it will hold for special passes for the papal visit. this time for specific trolley lines and its high speed line. the lottery will be held wednesday. septa has allotted 20,000 special passes for the norristown high speed line but only two stops will be open. the gulph mills station and the villanova station. tickets will be $10 each.

you can use them from september 26th through the 28th. there will be 5600 papal passes available for trolley route 101 and another for trolley route 102. two stops on each line will be open. that lottery will be held wednesday, august 12th. customers will have from 12:01 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. that date to enter. everyone has the very same chance. you can request up to ten passes and septa will notify winners via e-mail one week from today. the passes will be sold using the same lottery system septa held for its regional rail passes. more than 328,000 passes were requested for that lottery. septa notified the winners of that drawing yesterday. all the information you need to know about transportation for the papal weekend is all on the nbc 10 news app.

find details for septa, patco and amtrak and see which highways and streets will be closed. to this now. a philadelphia judge has reversed 158 drug convictions because of allegations of police corruption. this comes after a judge tossed out more than 100 others in march. nbc 10's drew smith is live outside police headquarters with more on what impact this could have. what have you learned? >> reporter: this is a historic dismissal. the single largest in philadelphia history. it means people who were in jail on serious drug charges, they were convicted, they are now going to be able to go free. others who were on probation will no longer be on probation. you may remember this case. there were six narcotics police officers who went to trial on corruption charges and they were acquitted of all of those charges earlier this year. still, the evidence uncovered in that investigation is still admissible evidence in other cases. i just spoke with a public defender who had filed 1400 petitions last year asking for

new trials in those cases involving the police officers who were largeter charged, then found not guilty. today, it was agreed 158 of those convictions should be tossed. >> prosecutor's office to their credit has stood by what they said before which is there was sufficient doubts involving these officers that render questions about the fairness of their convictions and the right thing to do in the interest of justice is to reopen the cases and they did. >> reporter: there will likely be more cases thrown out. there is already a court date set. i talked to the district attorney's office. they said they are standing by the decision not to use any testimony that relates to those officers even though they were found not guilty and are back working here at the philadelphia police department. the total tally for how many cases impacted by these officers convictions now overturned and at 560. i'm drew smith, nbc 10 news.

to our weather, mixed conditions depending where you are. a live look at route 1 heading to rehoboth beach shows gray skies. rain has been falling on the coast throughout the day. for the rest of the area it's a gorgeous friday. nbc 10 along haverford avenue, we found people enjoying lunch outside with a lot of sun and low humidity. will the rain in the area be out in time for the weekend? >> nbc 10 first alert meteorologist sheena parveen is tracking the weather. >> if you are headed to the shore you might be disappointed by the way it looks but i promise it will be clearing up as we go through the weekend. here's a look at the live camera network. this is one area near brigantine along the shore, you see the overcast skies, maybe light drizzle in the area. poconos not looking too bad at all. then we have the philadelphia area in south philly citizens bank park seeing plenty of sunshine and very comfortable temperatures. here's a big picture look at the radar. we have rain offshore so we did

have more rain earlier in new jersey and delaware today and the rain is still lingering along delaware mostly in sussex county along some of the beaches, right around ocean view. a lot of this is continuing to move away. as we go through the weekend, you see the dry air for the rest of the area and north and west of that. more rain down to the south. another area of low pressure will pass by offshore over the weekend and that's going to give us a higher risk for rip currents along the shore and delaware beaches this the weekend. be very careful. temperatures right now, 87 in philadelphia. 80 millville, atlantic city. mid to low 80s areas north and west. if you are heading out this evening, conditions are going to stay nice. low humidity by 6:00 p.m. temperature around 83 degrees. by 8:00 p.m. the upper 70s. we'll take a closer look at the weekend forecast and the shore forecast coming up. pennsylvania attorney general kathleen kane is expected to surrender tomorrow to face criminal charges. montgomery county d.a. announced

the charges against kane yesterday. they include perjury, obstruction and conspiracy. kane is accused of leaking secret grand jury information to punish two former staffers who she thought were critical of her. kane says she is innocent. federal investigators will meet tuesday to determine the probable cause of the accident that seriously injured comedian tracy morgan and killed one of his friends. the ntsb hearing comes more than a year after this deadly crash on the new jersey turnpike. a walmart truck slammed into the back of a limo van carrying morgan and his friends back from a show in delaware last june. morgan suffered head trauma a broken leg and broken ribs. he was in a coma for days. the comedian has said he doesn't remember the accident. morgan settled a lawsuit against walmart in may. morgan's friend and fellow comedian james mcnair was killed in that crash. a preliminary ntsb report found truck driver kevin roper was

driving 65 miles an hour shortly before the crash in an area where the speed limit had been lowered to 45 because of construction. a carbon monoxide leak forced residents and staff out of a retirement home in hokesson. one person was taken to the hospital. no word on the source of the leak. everyone has been allowed back inside. seven people were taken to the hospital after they were overcome by carbon monoxide fumes in southwest philadelphia. investigators say two elderly people left their car running inside a garage on the 2700 block of island avenue around 11:30 last night. the fumes spread through their house and the house next door. everyone is expected to be okay. two people are recovering after a school bus and taxi collided in philadelphia's fern rock section. this was the scene around 10:30 this morning. no children were on the bus in the background there but the driver was taken to the hospital

along with a passenger in the taxi. chances are most have done it. slung our purses or bags over a chair in a restaurant or bar. investigators tell us it's turning people into victims across philadelphia and the suburbs. nbc 10's deanna durante shows us who to watch out for and how easy it is for criminals to get away. >> reporter: the video is from this plymouth meeting pizza shop. watch. the people at the bar have no idea what's happening. >> wow. then he walks right away. >> that is cold. >> horrible. absolutely horrible. >> i would probably do the same thing. i'm sitting and talking and not paying attention. >> reporter: we showed the video to women around the area. >> they are not very cognizant of what's going on. >> reporter: take a look at these men. they hit here multiple times on july 25th then went to a local grocery store to steal some more. on july 28th the same men appear to be back at it this time in philadelphia. >> it is scary. >> reporter: police tell me

these men could be behind a rash of purse and wallet thefts near the king of prussia mall. the police want to warn women, always keep that bag on your arm? >> always. it's the safest way to go. >>. >> reporter: not to place your bag where you can't see them and watch out for these men. if you know who they are call police. deanna durante, nbc 10 news. trouble on the rails. patco says it's found a part defect that's causing trains to stop suddenly. officials say it happened 43 times from may to july causing operators to remove passengers from trains traveling between philly and south jersey. patco's general manager told the courier-post the problem is in brake pads of older cars. he said the agency is working on temporary solutions. patco is in the process of phasing out its old cars in may. they rolled out six refurbished cars to give the commuters a more comfortable ride. the cars also have several

updated safety features. from the nbc 10 news delaware bureau drivers should start to notice a smoother ride at one of the state's most heavily traveled spots. the state is celebrating the completion of a major traffic construction project. the reconstruction of the interchange at i-95 and route 202 in wilmington is finished. the project took three years. governor jack markell was among those on hand for today's ceremony. crews widened and extended ramps at the interchange. they also added a traffic signal and installed better lighting. it's one of the busiest spots in the state. >> they want to be in places where they can get their products to market quickly, where their employees can get to work. i use this ramp all the time. i live very very close to here. this is going to be a big relief for a lot of people. >> the entire project costs more than $33 million. a famous philadelphia bakery

is moving and laying off workers. >> amoroso's baking company is moving to south jersey. that means hundreds of workers will lose their jobs. the company has been on south 55th street in southwest philly for more than half a century. roughly 200 people work there but not for much longer. amoroso's says it has outgrown that facility and will move to a new building in bellmawr. the issue is a new company is being formed with that move so workers will be terminated meaning current employees will have to apply for the new job. >> they talked about it for the last three, four years and now it's here. so we have to find another job. >> i can't change what's going to happen. you got to move on with your life. just thank jesus you had a job, i had a job, you know? i have to move on. >> the layoffs begin in october. the first republican debate is in the history books and the

long anticipated showdown did not lack for energy confrontation or memorable moments. on the crowded debate stage the top ten republican candidates sought breakout moments and tried to avoid missteps that could sink their white house hopes. there were plenty of tough issues. immigration, isis same sex marriage, and potential democratic challenger hillary clinton. front-runner donald trump was asked about his colorful past, including disparaging remarks about women. >> -- women you don't like fat pigs, dogs slobs and disgusting animals. your twitter account -- >> only rosie o'donnell. >> no it wasn't. >> i think the big problem this country has is being politically correct. >> the most heated moment of the night came when new jersey governor chris christie and kentucky senator rand paul clashed over surveillance programs and privacy.

despite some of the negative mentions about new jersey of course we know about the casino crisis, the pension crisis facing governor christie the people who live and work down here in this tourism district say they are just happy new jersey is in the spotlight and on the national stage. it's new jersey's driving source of revenue. tourism. but in a place where the dollars and cents have displaced thousands of casino workers -- >> i had the good sense to leave atlantic city which by the way caesar's just went bankrupt. >> reporter: -- donald trump did not speak favorably of his former favorite city by the sea. >> i like trump. he's a businessman. i love christie but trump is a businessman. we have to learn to run the country as a business place. we have too many politicians. what they do they promise but they don't deliver. >> reporter: many say they tuned in more for the entertainment value but of the ten onstage, trump and christie are who they were eager to hear on the issues.

about the economy, creating more jobs in new jersey. something christie says he has accomplished despite atlantic city's decline. >> what's happened since, 192,000 new private sector jobs in the five and a half years i have been governor. we have a lot of work to do in new jersey but i'm darned proud of how we brought our state back. >> a person can't keep a closet together, how can he keep a mansion together? that's a good point. >> reporter: voters say both trump and christie, true to their character and not afraid to tell it like it is. >> this country right now owes $19 trillion and they need somebody like me to straighten out that mess. >> this president had weak leadership which has led to bad choices. we have to stop worrying about being loved and stop worrying about being respected. that's how i will lead our country. >> reporter: a ryder university political analyst told me despite the fact governor christie only had the floor for about five minutes of the total

two-hour debate that he really held his own, he hedid well and will build on this momentum. i'm cydney long, nbc 10 news. we know the democratic debates will take place later. hillary clinton was really part of that conversation last night. >> no question about it. while the republicans took shots at her, here's what she was doing. take a look. taking selfies with kim kardashian and kanye west. the couple joined other celebrities at a small fund-raiser for clinton in los angeles. tickets were $2700 apiece. the former secretary of state is one of five candidates running for the democratic nomination but the latest polls show clinton is the heavy favorite to win. breaking news now. a jury has reached its decision on whether colorado movie theater gunman james holmes should get life in prison or the death penalty. that decision will be read at 7:00 tonight. jurors deliberated for about six

and a half hours before reaching their decision. the same jurors rejected holmes' insanity defense and convicted him of murdering 12 people and trying to kill 70 others. that shooting happened three years ago now. we will have the latest on the verdict tonight on "nbc 10 news at 11:00." a nice day for parts of the area and if you're along the shore, the delaware beaches, not so nice. you have seen the clouds and rain around today. we still do have rain south of the area right along the beaches in delaware. some of the beaches, at least. and for parts ever new jersey closer to the shore, even though a lot of the rain is moving offshore, the cloud cover still lingering there. we will see improvements in those areas as we go across the weekend but that's also going to come with another threat. a rip current threat for saturday and sunday. it will be windy with that threat increasing over the weekend. philadelphia looking pretty good here. center city just seeing partly

cloudy skies. philadelphia now 87 degrees. it feels comfortable. humidity's low, 35%. it's been pretty low today. it will be low tomorrow too. north and western, lehigh valley, temperature in the mid 80s. 84 degrees in wilmington. 80 for millville, also atlantic city and dover, 81 degrees. areas who have seen the rain this morning a little bit cooler with our temperatures. that's mostly right along the shore and for sussex county along the beaches. the last areas to be seeing that rain. as you can see it's moving away so it's moving offshore. that's where a bulk of the moisture will continue to stay as we go across the weekend. now we are looking in sussex county in delaware near bethany beach, fenwick island. all the rain is moving away from this area. bigger picture shows that big area of low pressure is just south and east of the area. that will continue to move away. now we have another area of low pressure right around north carolina. over the weekend that one will get pretty close offshore but it will continue to give us the higher risk for rip currents. now we are looking at future

weather. there's the low that brought us the rain this morning for part of the area. that's going to keep moving away. then we go into tomorrow. the second area of low pressure is going to be just to our south. by tomorrow morning, there is still a chance if you're along the shore or delaware beaches that you could see a stray shower or two for the morning hours especially. that low will keep moving away. high pressure will build in and we will see pretty nice conditions through the weekend, especially the rest of the area mostly sunny skies. in the poconos, saturday and sunday temperatures will be in the upper 70s. we have a moderate to high risk of rip currents along the shore and delaware beaches saturday and sunday. for saturday we will see cloud cover around. it will be a windy day, too, but clearing through the day saturday. sunday looks pretty good 82 degrees, mostly sunny. the uv index will stay high across the weekend, too. about 6 to 7 saturday with the cloud cover around, still high. sunday will be even higher about 8 to 9. you want the sun block this weekend. tonight, mostly clear but clouds

we have all seen the explosions of derailed oil trains and philadelphians living close to the tracks here are worried about their safety. >> it's not only the moving trains. they're concerned about the ones idling on rails for hours. andy is concerned about this happening in philadelphia. oil trains derailing and exploding like they have in other parts of the u.s. and canada. >> we do not want anything like that to happen. >> logan square resident and his neighbors say they have seen an increase in oil trains but it's not just the explosions that worry them. >> the trains are sitting here idling blocking the tracks creating a lot of noise and a lot of pollution with the diesel

engines running all night and day. >> he calls it a quality of life issue. >> when they move when they start up or when they stop, there's a big noise. >> u.s. senator bob casey agrees. he sent this letter to train operator csx's ceo. in the letter casey asks csx to provide safety information on p.a. railways and requests a csx representative meet with logan square residents. residents say previous meetings with the csx community relations representatives have not been very productive. >> we don't want to just have some low-ranking representative show up in philadelphia and hear all these complaints. it should be senior people who can actually make decisions. >> we are sensitive to the concerns of our neighbors along our network and appreciate that sometimes our operations cause inconveniences. >> csx director of communications rob doolittle says the company does its best to minimize issues their trains might cause but can't relieve all of them.

he says csx locomotives meet all federal emissions standards. >> due to the volume of freight that is moving on our network, it is necessary for us to idle trains in a specific location. >> he says an average of 15 to 30 oil trains move through philadelphia weekly. most trains carry other things such as food and consumer goods. >> the increasing traffic on our network is the result of a growing economy and thousands and thousands of jobs that are supported by the production of those products. >> they are generally pretty good about parking the trains down a bit. >> warren meyer commutes by bike from bala cynwyd. he doesn't have the concerns people living near the trains have. >> these train tracks were here before the apartment buildings were. if they didn't like trains maybe they shouldn't have moved here. >> we would rather not have them here but understand it's important for jobs and business in philadelphia. >> csx says it's developing a responsible to response to casey's letter. we will let you know when and if

the neighbors meet with management. only a handful of railroads are close to meeting the government deadline to install safety features to prevent crashes. >> three railroads have submitted plans to the government to install positive train control or ptc. among the three, is septa. there is a december 31st deadline to install ptc. the technology can automatically slow or stop a train to avoid an accident like the one that killed eight people in port richmond. amtrak hasn't submitted a plan yet but has said it expects to meet the december deadline. here are some of the other stories making headlines on "nbc 10 news at 4:00 the." police are looking for two men who shot a bakery owner. she was opening her store around 6:00 this morning when the robbers shot her.

for the second time in six months a philadelphia judge overturned more than 100 drug convictions tainted by allegations of police corruption. this comes after a judge tossed out more than 100 others in march. it is the largest single dismissal of drug convictions in city history. septa is holding a second lottery for special passes for the pope's visit. this time for the norristown high speed line and the route 101 and 102 trolley lines. the passes will be good from september 26th through the 28th. the lottery will be next wednesday. septa will notify winners next friday. from our delaware bureau gun in hand. delaware state police say they caught two serial bank robbers as they were getting ready to strike again. police arrested the two yesterday. troopers on routine patrol captured this man as he was

carrying a gun. his getaway driver was waiting nearby. investigators believe the men were behind four other attempted robberies or robberies in wilmington. new information on a famed art heist in boston with a local connection. the fbi said today it believes two thieves in the 25-year-old case are dead. but the artwork is still nowhere to be found. that announcement comes one day after authorities released grainy never before seen surveillance video. it was recorded the night before the heist. authorities released the video hoping to find the artwork. two men stole 13 pieces of art valued at about $500 million. that was march 18th 1990. today the fbi said it suspects the two thieves are dead but didn't elaborate more than that. as for the local connection here investigators have said they believe that some of the stolen art may have been sold in philadelphia over a decade ago.

college students will be headed back to campus soon. for the first time new sexual assault protections will come with them, all thanks to the campus save act. the law spearheaded by senator bob casey of pennsylvania.

it requires uniform reporting standards for sexual assaults on college campuses and requires schools to provide clear guidelines to students outlining sexual violence policies. >> it gives not only new students who could become victims the information they need to act when they are a victim, but also to prepare the whole campus or community to take steps to prevent this in the first place. >> this is the first school year the law will be in effect. there is good news today for eagles fans ahead of the start of the preseason. >> next the man expected to take those snaps gives us an update on the first week of training camp. sheena? for parts of the area today, we had clouds and a little bit of rain but the weekend will see improvement. we will talk about it coming up. all new on "nbc 10 news at 5:00" remember the comments from chris christie about wanting to punch the teachers union in the face?

we are just over a week away from seeing the eagles in action for the first time this football season. >> nbc 10 is your official eagles station. today we are hearing from the man who could lead the birds on the field. comcast sports net's john clark joins us live with what qb sam bradford had to say today. >> reporter: as you know new eagles quarterback sam bradford says he feels good after the first five days of training camp practices. the left knee he's had surgically repaired feels great, better than he thought it would. this is good news because much of the season rests on that knee of sam bradford. sam says he's also not favoring that knee as well. he's trying to get used to the timing. that's the big thing. he hasn't played a real game in almost two years.

so the first preseason game in nine days will be very important for him. >> it's crazy. it seems like just yesterday that i was in cleveland walking through the locker room and i thought this day would never come but here we are, a little over a week away. get out there and actually play some real football. i think that's always exciting. it's hard to simulate those game situations. we can do a little bit of it in practice but until i'm able to get hit, you really can't simulate when the pocket breaks down, you got to make a hard hitch up and scramble. i've been put in a few of those situations so far and i felt like my knee's held its own. >> reporter: so good to hear. coming up in an hour we will hear from the defensive side of the ball. malcolm jenkins about just how much the defense has improved from last year already in training camp. i'm john clark. back to you. >> we have heard about the eagles stealing he demarco murray but what about the other

running back ryan matthews? we hear from him at 5:00. thank you so much. football returns this weekend here on nbc 10 with the hall of fame game in canton ohio. the pittsburgh steelers and minnesota vikings face off in the very first preseason game of the year at 8:00 sunday night followed by "nbc 10 news at 11:00." the eagles preseason kicks off the following weekend. nbc 10 your official philadelphia eagles station. we will have pregame and post game coverage as well as every snap of the preseason opener. coverage begins at 12:30. keith jones and myself. that's sunday, august 16th. a really nice day today for part of the area but if you are in parts of new jersey and delaware you have rain around or at least rain moving away. otherwise overcast skies, kind of gloomy conditions in those areas. that will be improving over the weekend. for saturday and sunday we will

see developing sunshine along the shore and the delaware beaches. but it is going to come with a threat for higher rip current risk around the area. that is one thing if you are heading to the shore, be careful this weekend. the risk will go moderate to high. the humidity is low, feels really comfortable. 87 degrees in philadelphia 80 in millville, 81 right now in dover, 84 wilmington. if you are in the philadelphia area you have seen a lot of sunshine today. this is a live look near the art museum, that's the schuykill river. plenty of sunshine to go around. especially points north and west through the lehigh valley and the poconos. it's really the shore and delaware beaches that we have been watching through the afternoon. the rain is really moving offshore. the thicker cloud cover is moving offshore, too. now we are seeing things really drying out for the delaware beaches but we still have some clouds around to deal with the rest of tonight. here you see an area of low pressure to the south. this is the one that brought the rain this morning for new jersey and delaware. now we will watch another one in

north carolina. that won't move in but it could get close enough to continue giving us the windy conditions this weekend and that's where we get the chance for the higher rip current risks saturday and sunday. future weather, it does clear the cloud cover out of most of the area as we go into saturday. there's a chance tomorrow morning we could see the clouds along the shore and in delaware slight chance that we could see a couple showers, too, but i don't think it will be a bad saturday. then we go into sunday. more sunshine develops high pressure builds in conditions still staying dry. it does look to be improving as we go through the weekend. if you are heading to the shore and the beaches the risk of rip current is going moderate to high. this is important to remember if you are heading in those areas and swimming in the water. for tomorrow temperature around 78 degrees for the shore and the beaches. temperature around 82 on sunday. we will see more sunshine there. water temperatures around 70 degrees, too. tonight, mostly clear for most of the area. clouds will linger.

one week from tomorrow shelters across our area are reducing adoption fees in an effort to find forever homes for thousands of animals. this weekend is a good time to have a conversation with your family about taking in a stray. >> in cape may county a cat adopted from a local shelter has attracted quite a fan club. it's because of where he prefers to spend his days. nbc 10 jersey shore bureau reporter ted greenberg shows us why. >> reporter: his day begins with a short commute, just before 8:00 a.m. >> he follows me right to the door. >> reporter: the door of the middle township municipal building. >> he actually will sit and head butt the door until someone lets him in. >> reporter: he is courthouse the cat named for the cape may

courthouse section of this community. >> just about everybody knows him. >> reporter: for more than a year -- >> he first has breakfast in the tax assessors office. >> reporter: he's chosen to spend business hours pitching in. >> he's in charge around here. >> reporter: or just roaming around town hall. >> he will go to municipal court, he will sit on the bench with the judge. >> reporter: what happens if you need to use that calendar? >> i will find something else to do rather than make him move. >> normally only service animals are allowed inside. >> correct. he has been welcomed by the governing body. he's like a mascot. >> reporter: courthouse has a home right across the street. >> he's a community cat. we created a facebook page for him. he has more friends than my wife and i combined. >> reporter: michael and his family adopted the 4-year-old feline and his sister who prefers staying closer to home a couple years ago from the cape may county animal shelter. >> it's just the right thing to do. the shelter takes such good care of these animals. >> reporter: i asked the folks if they are worried about

first at 5:00 it's now clear the pope's visit is going to have a big domino effect on people in the suburbs. we have new information on where the suburban crowds will be worse and what you need to know to get around. >> nbc 10's deanna durante is live in montgomery county. police expect issues here so they are getting the word out. >> reporter: they are. many people departments have taken to social media, twitter and facebook to warn people to be ready. there is going to be a lot of traffic, especially here around the fort washington train station where thousands will board the train to head into the city. >> oh, please. if i could go to new hampshire, i would do that for the weekend. >> reporter: all you have to do is mention the pope and his visit. >> i'm staying at my house. >> reporter: though the main event is on the parkway, people who live and work in white marsh township will not be immune. emergency management officials

in white marsh are hard at work and have been for months figuring out traffic plans and how to move the thousands of rail passengers in and out of fort washington station. the plans are almost finished. >> there is going to be a lot more traffic in the area with fort washington train station being a designated septa stop. >> reporter: the giant parking lot will be reserved for handicapped parking leaving surrounding lots for parking. the lot here will also be used for drop-off lines and line after line for passengers to be standing. the traffic will be thick around the station with the closure of 76 at the blue route. drivers will have no choice but to offload at plymouth white marsh and conshohocken areas. >> it will be insane. >> reporter: some tell me they plan to do nothing that weekend, not even take the train. >> i'm staying home. i actually got pope passes on septa and i'm giving them to friends and staying home. >> reporter: we have also learned this area will not only be used for travelers heading into the city but of course that means there needs to be a lot
