right now at 11:00, frightening moments, a man opens fire on a kensington street. the shooting left one man dead and oanother injured on e stree. police are looking for another suspect. doctors are treating the surviving victim. drew, what can you tell us? >> reporter: two men are here tonight. one in critical condition. both suffered gunshot wounds. we went back to the scene today to talk with witnesses who described the chaotic series of

events leading up to the gunshots. they watched as this man ran away, rifle in hand all this plain sight of security cameras. it's the first clue that somebody is wrong as people start to race out of barbershop at the corner of the westmoreland and e street and it escalates from there. we track down this surveillance video which police are reviewing. >> we heard the commotion, just the shots. when we ran outside it was chaos out here. >> reporter: barbershop employees say around 2:00 this afternoon man came in with a box and sat down like he was going to get a haircut. they say he eventually took a large rifle out of the box and ran out of the store. you can see one man running away with his hands up. >> automatically knew it was a gunshot by the sound of it. >> reporter: the street was busy. man was out working on his car here. neighbors who did not want the show their faces say the shootings are getting out of control. >> they're getting worse. scary. especially when you're raising family here.

we have kids on this block. a lot of people. >> reporter: this comes one day after another triple shooting less than a mile away. that gunman is also on the loose. in tonight's violence you can see the man in a white shirt and blue shorts rounding the corner and leaving the scene. >> they need to catch this guy and lock him away. >> reporter: we asked police was there any possible motivation for this attack? why would someone bring a rifle to a barbershop? there aren't answers to those questions. they aring looing for answers from the public especially if you recognize the guy in that video. i'm drew smith, nbc 10 news. police are investigating a murder in north philadelphia tonight. officers tell us the man was shot and killed around 6:30. so far there's been no arrests. pennsylvania's top prosecutor got a taste as life as a criminal defendant today.

she barely spoke at her arraignment. her attorney went on the defense stressing that she has no plans to resign despite growing pressure. she was the first woman elected as attorney general in pennsylvania. she's accused of leaking secret grand jury information to a newspaper and then lying about it. her case is a unique one that stretched across montgomery county today. she was with her legal team while a judge watched it all on a a tv screen in collegeville. randy is live in north town tonight with the latest on the case. >> reporter: this afternoon kane was flanked by security as she got out of black suv. within 20 seconds she managed to make it up the stairs into the montgomery county detective's bureau without taking any questions from the media. this is the first time she faced a judge in what could be long criminal trial. attorney general kathleen kane

bucks county will spend time in jail for having sex with her 14-year-old student. a judge sentenced her to nine months to nearly two years in prison. she taught at eisenhower science and technology leadership acade academy. she pleaded guilty earlier this year to having sex with an 8th grade student. new at 11:00, taking stand. a local mom has a powerful message to graffiti sprayed on the lawn. it turned the words "i'm gay" into art. both of her teenage daughters are bisexual. instead of cleaning it up, the family decided to take it a step further and paint rainbow panels on the door as show of support. kids who are fighting cancer enjoyed a special evening of fun at the zoo all thanks to the philadelphia eagles.
