the clouds are increasing and we saw sunshine at the shore earlier, but most of these showers are north and west. the lehigh valley, poconos and just a couple of sprinkles farther to the south and most will not be seeing significant rain today and that's part of the system that will be moving in overnight tonight. as we go through the evening there's not a whole lot on radar and just a few little showers around, but it's after midnight that this system comes in from the west and look how heavy that rain is. that's 3:00 a.m., middle of the night. we're all sleeping and some really heavy rain, maybe even some thunder to wake some folks up. by 5k clo, 6:00 in the morning it's tapering off or even over. the ground is soaking wet and we're going to get at least a half inch of rain in many parts of the area, but it just keeps moving. then watch what happens tomorrow afternoon. we've got another round of

storms coming through. this might just be a line of strong storms that may have some gusty winds with them. for today, cloudy and humid and scattered and mainly light showers and showers in the 70s north and west. the showers and storms returning after midnight and generally moving out by around 6:00 a.m. and then another round of thunderstorms later tomorrow. so much of the day tomorrow could be dry, but we get a lot of rain overall and then you can see how beautiful the rest of the week is and low humidity coming in, as well and we'll start to steam up over the weekend and we'll be right back.
