and being introduced. a fan fell from the upper deck. >> witnesses say the man landed head first two sections below. very close to where the families of the players were sitting. >> he came down like a thud on to the concrete steps. >> several people jumped into action including this surgeon sitting nearby. >> we did cpr until the paramedics came and put him in a neck collar on a board and took him away. for about ten minutes or so. it was pretty nerve wracking. people were pretty much in shock. >> cell phone video from another witness shows the victim later being carried out on a stretcher. the man fell to his death in the seventh inning. many people didn't even realize what happened and the game went on. >> i saw the commotion. i thought it was a fight at first. >> major league baseball has been taking closer look at fan safety this season after one woman at boston's fenway park was struck by a broken bat and

a 10-year-old girl was killed at birthday party by a falling tree. winds gusted up to 90 miles per hour. there were a half million people without power yet during the storm. this is the moisture streaming in producing heavy rain. the worst of the winds are over. it's more of a winter time storm system you see when the winds gust that high there are no leaves on the trees. so it was a different situation to get this big of a storm when the leaves are on the tree and it causes a lot of trees to topple. today we should see wind gusts 45 to 55 miles per hour. tropical storm erika is no more. now we have rain. heavy rain moving through miami this morning. we could see as much as three to five inches of rain in florida. we could see some areas of flooding when you get the heavier pockets of rain. that's going to be the concern. we have flood watches in effect. today and tomorrow we could see on the southwest coast of florida three to five inches of rain. i want to point out a category

the electorate by themselves in iowa. it shows you that this anti-establishment sentiment in iowa is huge. in fact, i think the most important number in this poll 75% of iowa republicans say they have an unfavorability or unsatisfactory review of republicans in congress. they're mad at their own party. that tells you why, carson, they're attracted to trump and carson. >> for the democrats extracting what we can figure out from the poll you look at hillary clinton not great. looks like she lost nearly a third of her supporters in iowa since may. bernie sanders gained a little bit. only a seven-point deficit there. it was an assertive week last week. she was aggressive to republicans and app gettic over the personal use on the e-mail server thing. can she survive the scandal? >> the good news for her in the poll 61% of iowa democrats said the e-mail controversy was not an issue for them. this isn't an issue among

when you look at the crews on these boats, 40% of the people on these boats have never even stepped foot on a sailboat before entering the competition. they are way out of their comfort zone. about to race 24 hours a day in extreme weather living on top of each other below deck. race officials call this an endurance test like no other. it's a death-defying race around the world. through brutal weather and treacherous seas. if they live through it, the rest of their lives will never be the same. amazingly, in order to sign up no sailing experience is necessary. in this race, attitude is everything. all walks of life, physical abilities, and ages are welcome. this 68-year-old texan is the oldest woman in the competition. proving that retired doesn't necessarily mean too tired. >> you're never too old to do anything you want. you just have to have the

this morning on sundays harry hurricane katrina ten years later. >> our team spent a lot of time on the ground after the storm. >> good morning. no documentary or book can tell the whole story of katrina. we went back last week to look at a few places we'd be and reconnect with something that has come to mean a great deal to

us. it wasn't a hurricane but a state of mind. if you were in the storm zone, it was the only thing you thought of for months and years. the storm didn't come and didn't go. it stayed and in many ways, it's still here. ♪ the gulf of mexico roared up out of there. storm surge almost 30 feet. nobody has ever heard of a 30-foot storm surge. and wiped out just house after house after house, and as you can see, it's not exactly like there's a re rush to rebuild here, either. >> when people think of the hurricane they think of new orleans. but mississippi got hammered, too. days after the storm earnest got his restaurant open again. his gum bbo is second to none. >> it was worth it. we got to cooking.

>> that to me says a lot about us right here, you know. that's what we did. this is the big bridge between the two it was destroyed in katrina as were hundreds of houses and businesses around here. wednesday night early thursday morning you sleep in your car because there was no place to stay. there was independent folk around here. we don't count on the government for much but where is the cavalry? nowhere was the cavalry needed more than in new orleans when the levees failed the city became a cruel example offing .
