cooler today, but a return to the 90s at 11:00. nbc 10:00 news starts now. right now at 11:00, a fight in a police car ends with a police officer stabbed and a man under arrest. good evening. investigates sort out what happened in a south philadelphia hotel. here's what we know. philadelphia police say at 8:30 tonight, the officer was dropping a man off at the holiday inn on packer avenue. there was a fight inside the police car and spilled outside the vehicle, and the officer was stabbed in the armament he's in stable condition at the hospital. one man is under arrest. we will be updating the story as

buildings tonight. the red cross is helping more than a dozen people who are now out of their home rs and homes, investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire. a work dog critically injured in a fall is treated here in philadelphia. cody was looking for intruders in a school when he fell 15 to 20 feet from a cat walk. the k-9 was flown to the university of pennsylvania veterinary hospital because of concerns he might have internal bleeding. he's doing better, but he's in intensive care tonight. well, not good enough. that is the verdict about tim tebow by the eagles. tebow time is over. we have what's next for thim. >> he was one of the 2 2 players eelers released today, leaving two quarterbacks on the roster. so chip kelly said he's in the market for a third qb. the move comes two days after
