history. good evening, i am jacqueline london. >> i am jim rosenfield. they're watching the sky and hoping the weather works out for trick or treating and college game day. let's start with meteorologist sheena parveen. no pressure, but how is it looking for the weekend? >> actually pretty good. it will be cold, bundle up. the good news, it is going to be dry tomorrow. the colder air is here and will set in as we go overnight tonight. starting off your saturday, take a look. 8:00 tomorrow morning, temperatures in the 30s. even through some of the suburbs in new jersey and delaware, wilmington and millville. then as you go into tomorrow night for the big matchup, temple and notre dame, in the low 50s by 8:00 p.m., by 11:00 closer to the 40s. more clouds around but we stay dry. it will be dry but chilly. i think you need a jacket.

how big the game is. keith jones, nbc10 news. what was once known as mischief night is where kids took an oath to become knights for their neighborhood and keep it safe. the goal is to transform a night of vandalism into a night of family fun and community. last night, nbc10 showed you this video of teenagers fighting with police outside a high school in allentown. tonight, we're hearing the radio call as police tried to get help for injured officers. >> we're also taking a closer look how a student brawl turned on the officers trying to break it up. >> just watched a huge group of

people. >> reporter: a cell phone video that's gone viral. police respond about a fight between allen high school students. when they arrive, it is officers that are attacked. teens while nearly 200 others watched. >> we're going to be transporting one officer. >> they had one cop, on top of them in the corner. i saw them with one in handcuffs. >> in all, four officers were treated at the hospital for injuries. students now face criminal charges. >> they have to pay the consequences, absolutely. hitting an officer is not acceptable. >> reporter: her son posted cell phone video of the incident online. >> our kids have mentality that the police are the enemy. they don't talk to them with respect, my son is a victim of that, they manhandle them, they grab them, they are very aggressive. >> reporter: his mother says that's an explanation but not excuse for the tense relationship, one that may explain the student response.

>> people look like it as a positive thing, it is horrible. >> reporter: it is another problem they've seen with high school students. >> the melee at 12th has been cleared up. >> reporter: thursday reached a boiling point. >> they fight with a cause, fight with the security guards. they show no respect for nobody. >> reporter: we contacted allentown school district, they declined an on camera interview. they said they don't condone the behavior and are working with police to help with the investigation. reporting in allentown. a police officer recovering after being run over by a police van in west philadelphia on pine street. investigators say the officer was chasing a suspect who smashed the suv with a baseball bat. they got into a struggle, fell to the ground. the van then ran over the officer's leg. nbc10 learned the suspect worked for the ridesharing company lift, but they ended their

relationship with him. a six-year-old boy with autism left on a bus more than seven hours. the bus driver and aide are charged with child endangerment. the middlesex prosecutor says the incident happened last week. the bus was supposed to take him to school in edison but the boy stayed on board while the bus returned to its yard. now to developing news, 27 dead and dozens injured after an explosion in romania. a local tv station says it happened after a spark on a concert stage ignited some decorations. witnesses say 3 to 400 concert goers panicked and there was a stampede for the exit. back in this country, more trouble for fan duel. an envelope player filed class action lawsuit against the website. redskins wide receiver beair garcon says they're profiting

interrupted a hillary clinton campaign event today. the democratic front runner has been outlining priority for reforming the criminal justice system. she was forced to shout over demonstrators promising if she's elected, she will address that racism. president obama sat down for an interview with lester holt. the two will visit a residential treatment center in newark, new jersey to discuss criminal justice reform. that will air monday on "nightly." halloween came a day early for some kids at the white house. president obama and the first lady handed out sweet treats to local students and the children of military families. as for the best costume, the president jokingly shouted top prize to a baby wearing a pope costume that included what else but a pope mobile. so cute.
