but first, security concerns on a flight with governor chris christie. why another passenger was detained. good evening, i am jacqueline london. we brought you this at 4:00. since then, we learned new information about what actually happened on board. drew smith is live in the digital operations center and joins us with more. >> reporter: they made no delay in arrests after someone was taking photos of the flight crew. the governor and passengers landed in boston after another travel disruption during a jittery week. travelers captured this photo of governor chris christie, sitting at the san francisco airport. he spent more time there than planned as flight 1108 pulled back from the gate. >> there was more on the exit side. >> reporter: the governor may have been threatened, but the christie campaign denied that

saying at no point did governor christie interact with this passenger nor did this passenger pose a physical threat to the governor. police say the flight crew asked the passenger to delete photos he took of them, which he did. someone else saw more photos on that phone, including one of a cell phone with wires coming out of it. authorities removed the man and ran a background check which came back clear. >> passengers were rescreened, reboarded the flight. >> reporter: all comes in a week when two air france flights diverted after threats and in separate incidents muslims were singled out. >> they're american citizens. >> reporter: tonight, passengers say they understand why the people on the flight with governor christie didn't take chances. >> i think it is strange to take pictures of the flight crew, with everybody being heightened awareness with paris --

>> reporter: the governor was trying to get to a campaign event, but had to cancel because of delays. turning to terror in mali. we know at least one american was among those killed in an attack on the hotel and had ties to our region. the victim identified as anita ashok datar. she lived in the d.c. area and was raised in jersey, graduated from rutgers university. all began this morning when armed islamic extremist stormed the hotel, which was pack with foreigners. they took about 170 people hostage, then released those that could prove they were muslim. they were able to kill the gunmen and free the rest of the hostages. an al qaeda group claimed responsibility for the attack. developing news. belgium raised the threat level

in brussels to the highest level, four, which means severe and very close. past few days, police carried out raids linked to the attacks in paris. we learned investigators found a third body in one of the raids in an apartment in saint denis, france. these are new photos of the raid. the body is a woman. one of the others killed is the suspected architect of the terror attacks, abdelhamid abaaoud. it has people in the area calling for unity with our allies in france and neighbors here at home. nbc10 reports from bucks county. >> reporter: on this street corner, a week after the terror in paris john lennon's "imagine" drowns out the noise of traffic, peace amid a week of fear in this country. >> you come together with a
