rosen field. tonight their suspected surrendered. this video shows police taking him into custody. police have not released his name or a possible motive tonight. we do know the name of one victim. in addition to the dead, nine others were shot, including five police officers. nbc 10 national correspondent leann greg reports from colorado springs. >> colorado springs police say a gunman who stormed a planned parenthood office has been captured alive, but not before killing three people, including officer bill swayze. >> it's a tragedy that happened here in colorado springs today. obviously we mourn the loss of the two civilian victims and we mourn the loss of a police officer. >> at 11:30 this morning, we received a call for shot fired

at the planned parenthood, in the 4800 become of centennial boulevard. >> heavily armed tactical police rushed the scene, a shopping center where they confronted the shooter and the standoff began. with with police and the suspect firing at each other. >> i've been shot, wear pinned down, we're getting active gun fire. >> five other officers wounded by the gunman and taken to area hospitals. >> we have seen a lot of bravery this morning. aamazing how first responders came together today and worked well and efficiently today, but on the whole it's still a tragedy. >> the suspect was armed with an ak-47. i it took hours, possibly days to process the whole crime

because temperatures were so warm, unseasonably warm, and we have a record high temperatures, a lot of areas were closed to record highs. a record high 65 degrees, as we go into the weekend, it will start off cloudy through your saturday, we'll have some showers around, not an all day thing, and we don't expect much of a heavy rain either, it will be mostly light, it won't be ruining your plans though. so starting off your saturday, for tomorrow, 8:00 in the morning, low 50s, not as cool in the morning, closer to upper 50s. by 3:00 p.m., we'll see some scattered showers throughout the day. but nothing major at a this point, temperatures dropping off a bit as we go through saturday. still mild and above normal. monday we'll be dropping down to around 49 degrees, so finally closer to normal for sunday and monday. here's a look at the area right now, we have the clouds around and we also have a few light

showers trying to move into the poconos. but the main area with rain, that's still back off to our west. so some of this will try to move in tomorrow. but it doesn't look like a lot across the area. so here's what future weather's showing, we're still kind of mild outside right now. then tomorrow 9:00 a.m., we start the see some spotty showers, north of philadelphia. so certainly not everyone is going to be waking one rain. even by about noon tomorrow, some spotty showers around and they should be on the light side. by 9:00 p.m., cold front moves through taking the rain with it. showers still lingering by sunday morning, south of philadelphia, but this is on the lighter side but this should clear up as we go through the day on sunday. cooler temperatures will be coming in that will be carrying into monday. mid to upper 40s, again not as cool as we have seen recently, but we will see those clouds increasing, we will see some showers around, but generally on the lighter side but pretty
