. christmas eve traeflers. you want to hear this, if you are flying for the holiday, get ready for a security change when you get at the airport. seasonal conditions start right now. all morning long, stores will be packed with people shopping for christmas goodies. and last fight showers are moving out. but there could be more wet weather today, right along with record smashing warmt on this christmas eve. it is 69 degrees at 4:00 a.m. form, this is nbc news today, i'm tracy davidson. let's get a look at your first alert forecast. >> we are experiencing record warmth.

here's a look, as soon as you step outside, you will feel the difference. you definitely don't need a jacket the rest of the morning into the afternoon. 66 degrees in reading. we're 66 in potts town. 63 degrees in allentown him wilmington at 69. temperatures close to 70 degrees. 67 in mount hol lay, 24 hours temperature change, we are up 12 degrees in allentown at 16 degrees, poconos, 13 in potts town, up 9 degrees in millvale. up 14 degrees in dover. definitely a big improvement yesterday with our temperatures. today we are tracking anywhere between 74 and 77 degrees, record warmth is what we're dealing with, showers as we go into the afternoon. so wind speeds out of the southwest, 10 to 20 miles per hour. you can see the rain here, pushing offshore, we will still

shot a man through his car doorch he was taken to the hospital where he died. police say he's from philadelphia, not from that area. they are looking for the gun and the reason why someone shot him. now, new information about those stolen propane tanks. police believe this under surveillance video, look at it. it's of northeast philadelphia. the first-hands happened at two business, one on church street. in all, 43 propane tanks were stolen this month, ranging from $ en the t /* /- 20 to 100 pounds. they touched down at newcastle national guard base. service members died in a suicide bombing monday.

taub was a graduate of high school. a prostitute behind bars charged with killing a doctor in a hotel room. they say manuel baez paid baker for sex. he had offices in center city and wynwood. they found his body pond morning on the floor of his room. an autopsy determined that he had been strangled. pennsylvania attorney general kathleen cane says she expects more fallout from the e-mail scandal that led to the suspension of a state supreme court justice. he made a decision to suspend michael eakin. kane says this is yet another step in restoring our faith in our justice testimony. justice eakin will be off the job while the state ethics court investigates him. he is accused of exchanging lewd
