on the stand. good evening. sports reporter testifying about the stalker that secretly videotaped her and put the footage on the internet. denise nakano is here with the day in court. denise? >> reporter: an expert told me when it's on the internet it is on the internet forever. erin andrews only recourse now is lawsuit against the nashville mare yt and the man who secretly recorded her and andrews broke down on the stand giving emotional testimony in the case. >> i feel so embarrassed and so ashamed. >> reporter: erin andrews said she needed to stand up for herself describing to a jury what happened september 2008 when a stranger requested a hotel room next to her and recorded her naked. >> everybody thought that i was doing it for publicity and attention and that ripped me apart. >> reporter: the 37-year-old says had she known the man michael david barret requested the room next to her she would

have called police but she was never notified. >> i could have stopped this and i'm so angry. i'm so mad. >> reporter: the video of her nude received millions of views. >> i remember just being with my parents we have to get it down. we can't get it down. >> reporter: he altered the peephole and recorded the video. served two and a half years behind bars saying the motivation to tape andrews was financial. >> a huge, huge mistake in judgment. >> andrews says the incident traumatized her. her family saying she is a shell of her former self and that she believes it could happen for anyone and stnds up for everyone standing up for herself. >> this happens every day of my life. a tweet or somebody makes a comment in the paper or somebody sends me a still of the video to my twitter or someone screams at me in the stands and i'm right back to this.

>> she is claimed invasion of priva privacy. likely taking the stand again tomorrow. jacqueli jacqueline? >> thank you. sky force 10 with huge flames in burlington county. this is the scene earlier with a controlled burn. police even tweeting out a warning to people in the area. new information on this deadly house fire in delaware county. investigators say a woman started the fire that killed her and her critically injured her husband. they say the 50-year-old started fires in the kitchen and living room of the home february 21st. they believe the clothing caught fire trying to put the flames out. her husband who ran back inside to save her is recovering in the hospital. tomorrow is super tuesday. a day that could make or break for several presidential candidates. it is the largest single day haul of delegates in the race. total of 13 states will hold

they don't. >> evans families are loud, proud. >> the superintendent says the move will save the district more than $1.4 million per year. the zika virus arrived in philadelphia today officially. confirmed the first cases of the virus. the patient is a 60-year-old woman. she recently travelled to the caribbean and contracted the virus. the virus is linked to severe birth defects. but we're told she was never hospitalized and is already recovering. in pennsylvania, there have been five confirmed cases of the zika virus. two in new jersey and one confirmed case in delaware. from the delaware bureau, residents took to the streets in protest of a natural gas power plant to be built along route 301 and sent a petition with hundreds of signatures to the mayor and town council asking

all new at 11:00, a big drug bust at a main line university got the nbc 10 investigators asking questions. investigative reporter harry hairston found allegations that the school is not being forthcoming with information that might impact student safety. >> reporter: i have the documents backing up that claim. these reports i received through a right to know request show how many times cops taken illegal drugs from villanova. at the request of the university. problem is that's about all the records show. pills, marijuana and drug-laced

food. the contraband picked up. does villanova have a problem throughout? >> they do. there a es an ongoing problem for years now. >> reporter: he tells us it's police force has problems with the way the university is handling drugs on campus. >> there's no names attached to them. so you have to be underreporting. i don't see how there's any other way around it except you have to be underreporting. >> reporter: these are police reports made when picking uppar. where you expect a narrative of who was responsible and how it was found, police say the university supplies little useful information. >> there's a fair amount of drugs being located on the campus. where that's the question. >> reporter: radner township police chief block tells us his department needs more information so it can investigate. >> the concerning part for law enforcement is that, yes, it

might seem minor at the time. dealing with this amount, small amount of marijuana, but it could be considered to the broken windows theory leads to more dangerous drugs in brought on to the campus. >> stamford hall. >> reporter: two weeks ago, two students and a minor overdosed on lsd. cops arrested a nova freshman for selling the drugs and found $9,000 in the dorm room. >> everybody should be concerned about that, lsd on a college campus and being sold to other students on the campus and the evidence is there. >> reporter: the director of public safety agreed to talk with us about how they deal with illegal drugs on campus and also the relationship with radner township police and how they report drugs but less than an hour before the interview was to take place the university backed out. the university did send a statement saying in part it has a strong drug policy and students found in violation are

held accountable and says it works closely with radnor police through a long-standing and mutually-agreed process to handle incidents involving drugs and say it is comments of radnor police are a surprise and frankly disappointing. students we spoke with expressed concerns over underreporting. >> that level of who is esty that the administration has with us. >> certainly, certainly concerning. but once again, i believe in radnor police and conduct the investigation to the fullest they can. >> reporter: the township believes the university continues to underreport and the drug problem will get worse. >> if you think there isn't a problem on the campus, i think that's a problem. >> reporter: we kept digging and found villanova drug incidents reported to the feds as part of a mandated program. 2013 and 2014, the school reported 16 drug arrests. over two years, there were 92 drug referrals, referrals

incidents resolved through the university and not involving the police. a high school student is under arrest accused of selling marijuana laced brownies that ended up in the hands of middle school students. police say jacob francisco admitted selling five of the brownies last week. they were eventually resold by a student at shaffer middle school. police identified others that bought or ate the brownies. the u.s. justice department cannot force apple to provide the fbi with access to data from a lost iphone in a brooklyn drug case, a federal judge's ruling today and this comes just days after apple challenged a court order to help the fbi unlock the iphone belonging to one of the san bernardino terrorists. app apple stance prompted a national debate. tomorrow the director of the fbi will appear at a congressional

hearing on the subject. a win for chain restaurants in new york city today. an appeals court ruled they cannot be fined for not posting salt content on their menus. it would have required an icon that topped the limit of 2,300 milligrams, a teaspoon. it was set to go into effect tomorrow. the motion is temporary until a full panel can hear the appeal. cleanup efforts continue in northampton county. crews worked to stabilize this building. the building sustained heavy damage in last week's storm. it can take a week to tear down. take a look at the repairs on an amish farm. on the left, the destruction to a barn hours after storm. on the right, sky force 10 back

over that scene today. the roof is complete. and most of the debris has been cleared. well, we have had a warm start to the week. don't let that fool you. it won't stay that way all week. that's for sure. still relatively spring like in the day tomorrow. but then we get some rain tomorrow night. and some possible snow before the week is out. right now, we continue to see clear skies. wind is really calmed down. only 10 miles per hour. and some places even less. and 47 degrees which is the average high for this time of the year. we hit 41 degrees on friday. 44 saturday. we jumped to 64 yesterday and today. tomorrow not 64 but maybe close to 60. temperatures now down into the 30s. north and west, 36 in pottstown. 37 reading.

we have the west wind and a very light wind. it's calm. in reading and pottstown and millville. temperature will go down. clear skies across our area but did moisture is building in the middle of the country and racing eastward. already getting past chicago. now, as we get up in the morning, chilly. colder than it was this morning. but not real cold for this time of the year. in the afternoon, we jump into the 50s. well above average for this time of the year and lots of sunshine. the clouds really increase quickly in the evening. and here comes the rain. but mostly in the middle of the night. it's going to be a warm night tomorrow night. and pretty warm early wednesday morning when it may be wet for the beginning of the rush hour and then it dries out quickly and temperatures go down during the day on evening as we clear out. the wind picks up.

then we watch to the west to see this next storm system. and it is possible. it may track close enough to bring snow up into our area, especially delaware and south jersey. some newest computer models just in going along with that. continued threat for at least some snow. maybe even measurable accumulating snow in parts of the area. clear and cold we are diminishing wind tonight. 33 north and west for the low. during the day tomorrow, not quite as warm as today but pretty warm for this time of the year. less wind. then the rain at night. we start off mild on wednesday and temperatures fall to 40 clearing out and the wind gets in. then on thursday it's just plain cold. friday, that's the chance for snow and again some accumulating snow is possible. not just flurries here and then cold on saturday. and then that may be the end of the cold for quite a while. as we really warm up a lot.

hey, i'm john clark. flyers did not make any moves today at the trade deadline and without jake voracek for two weeks but they played inspired tonight without him against calgary. before the game, watson inducted in the flyers hall of fame, he won two cubs with the flyers. first period, looks like schenn with a goal here. now, they would look at the replay. and they say no goal. it did not go in the net. boy is that cla close. he says i'll do it again. ties the game up. second period, schengen. could have had the hat trick if it wasn't for that disallowed goal. three minutes later, schenn, his first career hat trick. career high 21 goal this is season. flyers win 5-3.
