me, hits the side of my left front bumper. bangs me to the side and keeps going at full steam. i look and i see about three or four police cars coming behind him. >> reporter: police tell us the suspects crashed and then got out on foot. one was arrested nearby, the other one ran over to a laundry mat, changed clothes, hopped on a bus of it he was arrested. this is where the chase ended, the suspects crashing into this parked car, totaling it. we're told four people in critical condition right now but both of those suspects in this narcotics investigation are now in custody. live in west philly, randy gyllenhaal, "nbc 10 news." >> a wild afternoon. also at 6, accused child predator shoots into the home of his alleged victim, bullets barely missing children inside. >> the bullets, she was here on

been dead, she was sitting on my lap next to me. >> reporter: the bullets pierced their home and into a neighbor's home as he drew his daughters to the floor. the d.a. says cohen who lives next door should not have been afforded bail in the first place. >> he should have had a condition he wasn't allowed near that property, where that child was. and if he did get out, he shouldn't have been allowed to have a gun. he should have had to have handed all weapons in. >> i heard gun shots, we saw him get in his car and take off. >> cohen made to the west goshen and flipped his car trying to outrun police, he was due in court this week on the child sex abuse allegation but the blood on his head came after the car crash and arrest as he banged his head on the floor. >> trying to murder me. >> reporter: cohen initially was released from jail on that bail paying just $2500, 10% of the

25,000 for the child sex abuse charge, his bail this time on the attempted murder charge is $1 million. he would have to pay full cash. cydney long, "nbc 10 news." tonight police release video of the man wanted for shooting an employee inside a church's chicken restaurant last night. it may be a case of mistaken identity. deanna durante joining us live from temple hospital. the victim's brother also working at that restaurant. >> reporter: yes. that's the man police say the suspect in this case was arguing with minutes before the shooting. the 19-year-old victim remains here at temple hospital in critical condition as police continue the hunt for his shooter. the video shows a man walking into church's chicken at broad and erie before 5:30 sunday night. he goes to the back of the restaurant, places bags on a table and orders food. what you don't see is a verbal argument between the man and a worker spraying tables to clean them. police say the man leaves,

returns minutes later and shoots another worker. 19-year-old meyers who happens to be the brother of the man police say the suspect had argued with. >> when he left the worker he was arguing with took his shirt off. shortly after his brother came over to him when he sees the male shooter come back in to try to shield him away from him. it's possible, we don't know for certain but it's possible that the shooter seeing the fully uniformed employee, may have thought that was the employee he was just argue with and shot him. >> reporter: police hope you'll recognize the man, the way he walks, the dark suit and glasses, or maybe the distinctive hat. police sources tell me they have gotten a number of tips but so far not the one that gives them the name of the person in that video. if you know who he is, call philadelphia police. deanna durante, "nbc 10 news." now to our decision 2016 coverage. less than an hour ago former new york city mayor michael

bloomberg said he will not run for president as a third party candidate. meanwhile t two top gop presidential candidates are looking for a break out after splitting wins over the weekend. donald trump rallied in concord, north carolina, that state holds its primary on the 15 county. he will campaign later in mississippi, trump picked up victories in kentucky and louisiana. it was also a big weekend for ted cruz who has narrowed trump's delegate lead. the senator winning kansas and maine republican caucuses. trump has 392 delegates to cruz' 305. marco rubio headed to his home state hoping to grab the winner take all contest there next tuesday, but he is trailing in the latest nbc news poll. rubio campaigned in tampa in the last hour and which would hold another event in sanford. ohio governor kasich has been crisscrossing michigan with at least three events before tomorrow's primary there. he will appear in a detroit

suburb of troy. the democratic candidates are hitting the ground running as well in the state of michigan hours before the primary there. hillary clinton told a group in grand rapids today that if she is the democratic nominee she hopes bernie sanders will support her the way she supported president obama when she dropped out in 2008. clinton also will campaign tonight in detroit. sanders will rally at the university of michigan. coming up earlier he campaigned not far from clinton in kalamazoo, then in the detroit suburb of dearborn. clinton has a double digit lead over sanders according to a recent poll. you can get all of the primary results as soon as they come in, on the nbc 10 app. we have new details about funeral arrangements for former first lady nancy reagan. her funeral will be friday at 2:00 eastern. she lie in repose wednesday and

hours away from that deadline. >> a former mainline prep school swim coach and counselor pleaded guilty to trying to seduce a student by promising an ivy league education. emily feeney worked until she was fired a. judge sentenced her to five years probation and register as a sex offender. prosecutors say she sent hundreds of messages including topless photos to a 16-year-old boy and promised admission to harvard as long as he agreed to her advances. the boy repeatedly declined. happening now residents in moors town bill have a chance to be heard tonight at a meeting that start add few minutes ago to address water. residents weren't notified until last week about their drinking water. officials reportedly made the discovery a year ago the mayor insists the water is fine. workers in pennsylvania will get more money.

struggling with the officer for eight minutes at the huntington station. the officer used a stun gun 10 times. the investigation revealed the officer's actions were within department guidelines. >> at one point mr. lopez punched the officer and grabbed at the officer's gun belt. the officer repeatedly warned mr. lopez to comply and put his hands behind his back and if he refused he was going to be tased. mr. lopez bit the officer's left wrist. >> an autopsy showed lopez died of a drug overdose. one officer was suspended for sending lopez to the wrong hospital when there was one a lot closer. >> parents in cherry hill have to play the waiting game to find out if their child gets into a middle school. the district says the number of applications for sixth-graders next year exceeded the maximum at rosa international middle school so there will be a selection process. parents get a letter later this week for all students to apply for open enrollment.

dozens of local airmen touched down in delaware late this afternoon. >> family and friends greeted them with a hero's welcome home. tim furlong spoke to loved ones. >> reporter: the first four months were tough, the last few minutes eternity for the families waiting to greet their airmen and then they heard it in the distance. the delaware national guard c-130 bringing their loved ones back. powerful to see the flag out of the cockpit. this moment is even more powerful. reunion reunions. >> not actually seeing and smelling. >> reporter: the men and women spent four months moving people and cargo if someone or something needed to get somewhere in the middle east. delaware's air wing got it there. >> i like what we do. it's a good mission. it's being away from the family

hour. we're in the upper 50s to near 60, reading and lancaster, some of the warm spots, in the mid-60s today. philadelphia's high was 61. 55 in millville, 54 in dover so the closer you are the to the ocean the cooler it is during the day. the trend will continue with a southwest wind. we're close to 20 degrees warmer than this time yesterday. mount pocono is more than 20 degrees warmer. these are the records for wednesday, philadelphia record at 73. predicting 76. so pretty much predicting records over much of the area. allen town at 70 degrees, that should be fairly easy one to beat. here comes spring. and the cold air is not that far away. in southern canada. but the weather pattern is just not allowing it to come down. so, even when we cool down a bit little bit it's not getting cold here.

we could be warming up again. so we are not seeing any signs of cold air in a long time. 54 degrees by 9:00 a.m. tomorrow. and look at that, 70 degrees across much of the area. no winter coats in many cases no light coats. we'll see people in shorts and t-shirts and multiple days of this. this is not just one day that you get ahead of a cold front and then you get showers and storms and then it gets colder. this is a weather pattern. this is not just ahead of a front. partly cloudy, and the wind diminishing, 46 for the low in philadelphia. 40 north and west. during the day tomorrow, a mix of sun and clouds, each warmer than today. a lot warmer near 70, not quite as windy. we got up to 61 today. the average high is 50. and look at these numbers for the rest of the week. another record likely thursday with 78 degrees.
