the search. only nbc 10 was there as that victim was rushed to the hospital. >> nbc 10's rosemary connors is following the search for the shooter. you recently got new video of the scene? >> that's right. we were able to get closer down the block here on coral street. this is where place say the shooter kuf eer dumped the geta suv. the white tahoe left abandoned at coral and valetta. right now it appears, this is preliminary, there may be blood in the backseat and the shooter who got out of the car and fled on foot may have had two other accomplices with them. that's what they're trying to sort out, whether by himself or whether there were other people inside that white suv. after police located the suv, they began searching train tracks. you can see looking for the shooter and anybody else who may be with him. there were s.w.a.t. team members in full force, some with weapons

drawn. here's how this all started. according to philadelphia police, undercover nar cot ins officers in the area of 16th and east hunting park. they saw two men inside a toyota and witnessed within man shot the other, get out of the car and into the white tahoe. no officers were shot, and they did not draw or fire weapons. however, they did pursue the white suv and that's how they located it here on coral street. there is one confirmed shooting victim. police tell me he got himself to frankford and he's in surgery. also an officer injured. responding to this investigation and he was involved in a car accident. he was taken to the hospital but expected to be treated and released. again, police are still looking for the shooter in the case and anybody else who may have been helping him. we'll continue to follow this and bring you new information at 6:00. live in frankford.

brother of nba player dion waiters, he plays for the oklahoma city thunder. graduated in burlington. his brother was shot and killed last night. tuesday night's murders were scattered across strawberry mansion, gray's ferry, southwest philly, north philadelphia, west philadelphia. in the past 30 minutes police released this mugshot of the man under arrest for the killing in west philadelphia. ronald stanley charged with murdering a man during a stabbing spree. he attacked three men at different locations along baltimore avenue. the last victim died after stabbed in the chest. investigators identified that victim at nathan atkinson. police are analyzing this video to find out what led to a deadly high speed crash in north philadelphia. the driver lost control near second and cecil b. moore,

hitting three light poles, a tree, two buildings before the car burst into flames. driver was so badly burned in the fire, investigators have not been able to identify him. the crash also left debris scattered along the road, including hundreds of mcdonald's gift cards and cups in packaging. investigators are trying to find out if the car was stolen. funeral arrangements announced for the new jersey state trooper killed in the loin of duty this week. trooper sean cullen will be laid to rest monday. he was at the scene of an accident i-295 when the diver of a car hit him. the driver is cooperating. no charges filed. trooper cullen leaves behind his fiancee, baby boy, another child on the way. there will be a life celebration and viewing for trooper cullen sunday from 2:00 to 7:00 and monday from 8:00 in

by explosions as at least 15 cars and a building went up in flames. more than 100 firefighters from neighboring companies put out the fire. colwyn fire company 92 at odds with the borough over insurance payments. >> my concern is council and state is not doing what they're told 92 they were going to do, which is ensure trucks, give us workmen's comp and ensure the building which the borough has been doing for years. >> the council is expected to discuss the fire service at a meeting tomorrow night. three men are accused of scamming the city of philadelphia out of $400,000. prosecutors say the men were involved in an insurance scheme. let's start out with robert otterson, a fleet manager for the city of philadelphia. prosecutor said otterson would send city cars in need of repair for a particular auto body shop in south philadelphia. the problem, that body shop was

not the first in line to receive work from the city. a father and son duo ran the body shop called american collision. prosecutors say ronald galati sr. and jr. would jack upprices of the repairs. otterson would get kickbacks. >> appraiser able to gather evidence that, in 178 cases, out of probably less than 200 cases, american collision had overcharged in labor hours by huge, huge margin. >> in 2013, the galtis were indicted by allegedly ripping off insurance companies to get big payouts. ronald is serving more than 20 years behind bars for a murder for hire plot that led to a shooting of his daughter's boyfriend. now residents in norristown learning more about septa's plan

garden chinese store north broad street. the customer about to leave when three men pushed him back inside. one man with a knife began beating and stabbing him. one point the man took the victim's belt and beat him with it. more trouble for kat williams. police arrested williams he allegedly threatened to kill his bodyguard. williams threatened the man while an acquaintance beat the victim with a bat and choked him. he was arrested yesterday and appeared in court on charges of making terrorist threats and false imprisonment. earlier this week, we showed you this video from the theater in center city. it appears to show williams involved in an onstage brawl at a beanie sigel performance over the weekend. police say there were to arrests in connection to the incident.

two baltimore school officers face criminal charges after a beating of a student caught on camera. we want to warn, what you are about to see may be disturbing. >> [ bleep ] out of here. >> the video shows an officer smacking a 16-year-old student inside a school last week. the officer accused of smacking the student now faces felony child abuse charges. police say the second officer faces assault charges for encouraging the slap. >> nothing more important or sacred than taking care of our young people. as a result of this, this appears that the trust that existed in that particular school. >> the student's lawyer says the officers thought he was an intruder. it not clear from the student suffered injuries. new details about an american college student stabbed to death in israel. a graduate at vanderbilt in

nashville, tennessee. he went to israel to learn more about global entrepreneurship. cell phone video shows the palestinian man trying to stab drivers in traffic. he died at the hospital. the 29-year-old an army veteran who served in iraq and afghanistan. ten others were wounded in the attack. take a look at this. drivers in louisiana put themselves in a dangerous situation trying to get across the flooded bridge. louisiana state police had to close a major section of i-20, some areas flooded with up to a foot of water. they're not sure when they'll reopen the interstate. >> scary situation. >> dangerous. they've seen 3 to 5 inches of rain. could see another 3 to 5 over the next couple of days. rain normally makes its way up this way, not going to make it.

keep the florida sun from setting on his campaign. jay gray be nbc 10 news. >> republicans will face off at their next debate tomorrow. the race looking very different after last night's primaries. >> political and legal analyst jim schultz joins us now. jim, donald trump had another big night while rubio's night was a disaster. your thoughts? >> trump certainly had a huge night last night. he's up to 458 delegates. he won michigan, mississippi, continues to resonate with working class voters. ted cruz did okay last night. he won idaho, that justifies existence for now. and marco rubio had a terrible night last night, absolutely terrible. gaining to delegates, unable to get the 15% in the states to gain delegates and get any momentum going into forward. >> we had one super tuesday, there's another one next week. big states like florida, ohio up for grabs.

do marco rubio and john kasich have any chance of winning their home states? would it make a difference if they did? >> donald trump is going to be taking negative ads from all sides. there's millions and millions, tens of millions of dollars poured into florida and ohio to try to take down donald trump. donald trump is far ahead in florida, marco rubio really doesn't have a shot there. no one believes he has a shot there. it would be a big deal if he lost and a big loss for donald trump and shake up the race but it's not likely to happen. in ohio, it's closer, kasich seems to be closing in, 4 to 6-point margins. if trump loses in ohio it's not really as important as florida, because there's less delegates at state, 66 in ohio, and 99 in florida. so it's not as big of an impact. big states like north carolina, missouri, and illinois up for grabs. and if trump does well in those and loses ohio, he's -- kasich's going to continue to push along
