they've been looking for dump his getaway car, chevy tahoe. investigators tell me appears to be blood in the backseat and do testing later. the shooter who got out of the car and fled on foot may have had two accomplices with him. that's what they're working on to determine if the shooter was by himself or had others who helped him get away. we want to show you video on the ground. you can see police s.w.a.t. members in full force, combing the area another coral street looking for the shooter and anybody else who may be with him. some had weapons drawn. they were looking around the train track area, near where we are here at coral and valetta. this is how this all unfolded today. earlier, under cover narcotics officers in the area of 16th and east hunting park. two men in a toyota sequoia, witnessed one man shoot the other, get out of the car and get into the white suv, the

chevy tahoe, and take off. no police were injured. they were not shot. they did in the fire weapons but did pursue that white chevy tahoe and call in for backup. one confirmed shooting victim in surgery and who is in the hospital. he got himself to frankford hospital. police want to talk to his shooting victim to find out what happened this afternoon. we also should mention one officer injured. he got into a car accident as he was responding to the scene here. he was taken to the hospital but he's expected to be okay and treated and released. police are looking for the shooter and anybody else who may have been working with him. more tonight at 11:00. live in frankford, rosemary connors. latest on the fire that quickly destroyed dozens of cars here. damaged building in delaware county. nbc investigators are looking into allegations now of the warehouse that went up in flames may have gone unchecked for

years for possible violations. the fire happened in the town of colwyn and the colwyn fire company president says it was the biggest fire he's seen more than 20 years. we sent investigator harry hairston to find out what happened. >> all of this left is behind me over my shoulder. we went looking for records to find out if that property had been inspected. no one can tell us if it's been inspected. no one could tell us if there are records. the cause of the fire at a warehouse in colwyn is still unknown. also unfloknown if the propertys in compliance with codes and regulations. >> has that property ever been inspected? >> no. >> reporter: the colwyn manager from 2014 to april of last year. that's when council eliminated her position, and the position of the only code enforcement officer. >> from the time that i was there and prior to that, there are no records even for that

property. no records of inspection, nothing. >> reporter: brown says she's searched the hall looking for records on the property but could not find any. what would be in the paperwork to let you know what's going on with the business? >> you have to have the flame of each business. >> reporter: the borough has a new manager. i asked to look through property records to find something about the property that went up in flames. she denied my request and told me she wasn't sure if any existed. we walked the property looking for the owner. he was nowhere to be found. as the fire burned last night the firefighters had to cut their way through a fence. a gate appears to cut off part of a pub like street preventing access to the property was locked. vaughn thomas works at a business near the gate. >> i know it closed in evening. it opens up. you got to have a security code to get in. >> reporter: the borough manager told us she can't locate, she

democratic candidates for president are in for a showdown in the sunshine state in three hours. senator bernie sanders and hillary clinton will debate tonight in miami. less than 24 hours after sanders pulled out a big upset in the michigan primary. it wasn't a total loss for clinton. she had a dominant win in mississippi and a large lead in the delegate count over sanders. senator ted cruz trying to close the delegate gap on donald trump and doing it with the help of a former rival, carly fiorina. threw her support behind cruz's campaign. she rallied with him at the event in miami. fiorina voted for cruz in virginia last week. the former hewlett-packard ceo suspended her own campaign last month. donald trump will rally in less than an now in north carolina which holds its primary tuesday. callingen 0 the republican party to unite around him as the campaign maintains its lead. trump's delegate lead over cruz
